Kapela Queenie pochází z Prahy a byla založena v únoru 2006 partou mladých studentů.
Původně ryze nadšenecký projekt se postupem času umělecky tříbil a po letech společné práce se z Queenie stala suverénně nejúspěšnější Queen tribute kapela v České republice a jedna z nejlepších Queen tribute kapel na světě.
Precizní ztvárnění písní této legendy světového rocku v původních aranžích a tóninách, absolutní technická dokonalost, fyzická podoba a perfekcionismus, to vše Queenie definuje a je důvodem uznání odbornou kritikou a zisku řady ocenění.
Na počátku bylo uvědomění si, že jejich žánrem je především divadlo, nebo lépe řečeno koncertní divadlo, kdy v konkrétních rolích ztvárňují dílo jiného umělce.

Queenie odehráli stovky koncertů a vystoupení napříč dvěma kontinenty, byli úspěšnými účastníky několika talentových televizních show a dalších soutěží.
Velmi si také považují pozvání samotného Petera Freestona – tajemníka Freddie Mercuryho – na jeden z největších světových srazů fanoušků Queen – Freddie Mercury Memorial Day ve švýcarském Montreux.

The band Queenie comes from Prague, the Czech Republic and was established in February 2006 of a bunch of young students.
As time went on, this pure enthusiastic project artistically crystallized and after years of a team work they became masterfully successful Queen tribute band in the Czech Republic and one of the best Queen tribute bands in the world.
They bet on the quality of performance and visual similarity with members of the legendary Queen.
They realized that their main genre is the theatre, or as you wish the Concert Theatre, when they externalize a piece of the other artist in specific roles.
Basic principles were music authenticity and live performance in the original keys and the approach of every member of the band was subordinated to it and this is the reason for the recognition of professional critics and receiving awards.

Zespół Queenie pochodzi z Pragi.
Był założony w lutym roku 2006 przez grupę młodych studentów.
Oryginalnie projekt wynikający z czystej pasji, w ciągu wielu lat dojrzewał artystycznie, aby wydać owoce w postaci profesjonalnych muzyków którzy postawili na jakość występów oraz na wizualne podobieństwo do oryginalnych członków legendarnego Queen.
Uświadomili sobie że przede wszystkim ich stylem jest teatr, albo lepiej - teatr koncertowy, kiedy w konkretnych rolach odgrywają dzieło innego artysty.
Muzyczna autentyczność oraz występy na żywo w oryginalnych tonacjach były podstawowymi zasadami, które były warunkiem dołączenia do bandu.
Nawet gdy przez długie lata skład zespołu pozostawał bez zmian, pod nagłówkiem Queenie podpisało się kilka muzyków.
Najnowszym członkiem zespołu jest gitarzysta Rudy Neumann, założyciel znanej czeskiej kapeli Dymytry.
Frontman Michael Kluch, który jest wraz z perkusistą Michalem Novákem pierwotnym członkiem zespołu, zaistniał na scenie musicalowej i można go zobaczyć w głównych rolach nie tylko Praskich teatrów.
Wieloletnimi członkami zespołu są także basista Martin Binhack oraz pianista, aranżer i autor muzyki Martin Otruba, w którego studiu nagrywali wiodący Czescy artyśsci.
Queenie zagrało już setki koncertów, wystąpiło wzdłuż dwóch kontynentów, było uczestnikiem kilku talent shows.
