Detailed description is We run events at lakeside Dtc track and Nambour showgrounds, We also compete as a club at local street sprints and hillclimbs etc.

I have recently started a car club called 'Sunshine Coast Motor Sport Club Inc.' It is a proper incorporated club (not for profit organisation) and is CAMS affiliated.
Meaning if you want club rego or you'd like to get your CAMS racing licence you can if you join the club.
Club membership is $60/year and your basic cams licence is $65..

The reason I've started this club is because there is barely any motor sport events on the Sunshine Coast and I want to change that.
I want the club to set a good example that 'hooning' on public roads is not cool and to give people who want to test their cars and their driving ability somewhere to do it legally..

The first event I want to hold is called a 'Khanacross'.
It is a temporary race track set up in large tarmac car park up to 1.5km long.
Cars are divided into classes based on engine capacity and one by one are timed through the corse.
You can go as fast as you can or handbrake and power slide your way around it.
It's up to you.

Anyone (including P platers) in any car (rego'd or race and no roll cage required) can compete in the event, even if your as young as 14 years old.
