Τα Χάλκινα της Καστοριάς είναι η πιο νεανική ορχήστρα χάλκινων πνευστών με παραδοσιακά ακούσματα στην Ελλάδα, που ιδρύθηκε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2011..
Στόχος του συγκροτήματος είναι να γίνει γνωστή η προσπάθειά τους για την διατήρηση της μουσικής παράδοσης στην πόλη της Καστοριάς, η οποία φημίζεται για την αγάπη της με τα χάλκινα, αλλά δυστυχώς όλα αυτά τα χρόνια, δεν είχε δημιουργηθεί μια τοπική ορχήστρα..
Το ρεπερτόριο μας περιλαμβάνει τραγούδια από βαλκανικές χώρες όπως η Σερβία, τα Σκόπια και φυσικά η Eλλάδα.
Προσπαθούν η εκτέλεση όλων των τραγουδιών αυτών να πλησιάζει την αυθεντική, με λίγες ‘’πινελιές διασκευής’’….
