政府於今日（2月25日星期五）再度將「鼓勵就業交通津貼計劃（優化方案）」的撥款申請提交予立法會財務委員會通過。由於該優化方案完全漠視工友反對「查家宅」政策及落實「雙軌制」的兩大強烈訴求，故一眾民間團體早已聲言會在今天立法會財委會討論有關優化方案時，在立法會外集會，作出強烈抗議，並會直播財委會會議情況，讓到場集會的工友可全程監察會議內容。.

怎樣也料不到，政府為了逃避公眾的監察，竟在今早突然向財委會主席提出將原訂於下午三時討論的沙中線議題臨時抽起，使原訂於黃昏時間才討論的「鼓勵就業交通津貼計劃（優化方案）」提前討論及投票，企圖在工友放工後趕到會場抗議前通過撥款，這種做法再次徹底地揭露了政府拒絕面對群眾，強行硬闖過關，漠視社會強烈反對的聲音，不理勞苦大眾的死活。.

在此，我們一眾民間團體，包括勞工團體、社會服務界別、宗教團體、學生組織、青年團體、基層婦女團體以及社區基層團體表示強烈抗議，並作出下次要求：.

1）政府及財委會主席立即停止改動立法會的討論議程，將「鼓勵就業交通津貼計劃（優化方案）」的議題，放回黃昏時間討論，讓工友可趕到會場觀看直播，監察整個討論及投票過程。.

2) 要求政府仔細交代抽起沙中線討論議題的原因。.
