SARA S. WALLACH : ISLAND – Νησί “ISLAND – Νησί” is a new series of bittersweet and melancholy photographs the artist made in the Spring of 2021. In this mid-pandemic period the artist traveled to Greece while the country’s EU borders were closed, revisiting Athens and Paros, locations she inhabited a decade earlier with a dramatically contrasting life experience.
