アプリと連携、機能を選べる調理家電「マイスペック」 パナソニック
　同社によると昨今、日本国内では晩婚化・未婚化・少子化による小世帯の増加など、世帯の形態が多様化しており、今までの「標準世帯」を前提とした商品・サービスだけではなく、多様な選択肢が求められているという。
　また、新しい生活様式が定着する中で、自分に本当に必要なものを選んでくらしを再設計する人も増えている。同社の調査では、ライフステージやライフスタイルによって調理に関する価値観はさまざまであり、調理家電に対しては多機能を使い料理のレパートリーが増やせることへの期待が高い一方で、シンプルな機能やデザインを求める声も多いという。
　そこで、最初は機能を絞った基本機能搭載の商品でありながら、自分にとって必要な機能を選んで後から追加できるIoT対応オーブンレンジ「ビストロ」（NE-UBS5A：9月上旬発売予定）。そして、炊飯と調理の1台2役で、本体に登録する炊飯コースのカスタマイズや調理メニューを追加できるIoT対応IHジャー炊飯器「ライス＆クッカー」を発売する。
　基本機能に絞ったシンプルな商品でありながら、購入後に必要になった機能はアプリ「キッチンポケット」や別売アタッチメント（グリル皿・スチームポット）でアップデートが可能。年代や家族構成、志向の変化に応じて、機能をアップデートでき、作れるメニューを拡張できるのが特徴となる。
　また、最小限の操作を可能にするUIと、すっきりした操作部でキッチン空間になじみやすいノイズレスなデザインを採用した。
