Airbnb、アプリで物件のWi-Fi速度テストが可能に

　Airbnbの掲載物件ではすでにオーナーが物件のWi-Fi速度を掲載できるようになっているが、新たにスピードテストが組み込まれることで、これらの速度の信ぴょう性がさらに裏付けられることになる。なお、このスピードテストはMeasurement Lab（M-Lab）のオープンソースソフトウェアを採用している。また、スピードを求めるゲストに安心感を与えるだけでなく、スピードテストの結果はM-Labが公開しているオープンソースのインターネットパフォーマンス指標データベースにも登録されるという。
　Airbnbは、新しいスピードテスト機能の導入を米国で進めており、今後数週間かけて世界中で展開するとしている。
