FATAL FLOW

Varthur Lake is one of the water bodies under rejuvenation by Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). According to a source, most of the rejuvenation work has been completed but the sudden breach of the diversion channel has brought the condition of the lake back to the terrible state it was in prior to rejuvenation.
