The Capital Region continues to be the hotspot for big TV and movie productions. Owen Wilson has been seen around town in North Greenbush and Saratoga. Woody Harrelson will be in the area soon filming "The Whitehouse Plumbers" a new series on HBO and of course Troy is getting ready to be featured as the 1880s backdrop to HBO's "The Gilded Age". Filming is rumored to start in late May and run through June in several locations around Troy. The Production crew from HeyDey Productions LLC has already started prepping buildings and the streets around Troy for the film shoot. They have been repainting and rebranding storefronts to match the 1880s time period and have removed a bunch of the modern street lamps that wouldn't be period correct.
