ANDREW BROWN JR.: Police Shooting Was "Justified" | 100.3 The Beat

The D.A. began the press conference by showing videos taken by four body cameras.
Many believe the videos show Brown was trying to drive away from the officers and not in their direction, as the D.A. suggested.
The shooting sparked days of protests in Elizabeth City.
There is still a separate FBI probe into a possible civil rights violation.
The 42-year-old Brown was shot and killed in his car last month in Elizabeth City, North Carolina when sheriff's deputies tried to serve him with an arrest warrant. According to police, he was shot five times, including once in the back of the head. District Attorney Andrew Womble said at a press conference today there will be no charges filed against any of the officers involved and added that Brown "drove recklessly and endangered the officers" and "used his vehicle as a deadly weapon" while resisting arrest. He added, "Mr. Brown's death, while tragic, was justified. (Fox News)
