25 May 2021 - 17:56 File picture used for representation QNA Doha: The Ministry of Public Health announced that more than 120,000 workers have received the COVID-19 vaccination in preparation to lift the first phase of restrictions related to the pandemic. During previous weeks, the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program focused on giving priority for members of the basic working groups, regardless of age, and supporting the process of booking appointments, as a unit has been allocated to organize vaccination appointments. Senior Consultant Emergency Medicine at HMC and lead of the COVID-19 vaccination appointment unit Dr Khalid Abdulnoor said that the Ministry recently announced its four-stage plan for the gradual lifting of restrictions, noting that it aims to support the safe implementation of the plan, it was important to protect the working group on the front lines and vaccinate them against COVID-19.
