THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Government and opposition once again locked horns over Kodakara hawala money investigation, with the latter claiming that the former was trying to help BJP leaders by including them in the list of witnesses despite it becoming clear that the money was brought for BJP’s election purposes.
Seeking a leave for adjournment motion, MLA Roji John said that the government went back on its earlier claim that the beneficiaries of the hawala money that was stolen at Kodakara will be booked. Though police found that the masterminds behind bringing the money to Kerala were BJP leaders, including state president K Surendran, police have included them in the list of witnesses and not the accused, he added.
