Unless you are on the extreme left, you probably view Democratic Massachusetts Rep. Jim McGovern as a total partisan fool. For years, McGovern represented the Fall River area in Congress until Democrats gerrymandered the congressional districts in Massachusetts, in part to get rid of another controversial left-wing fool, Barney Frank. The changes shifted McGovern's district further west to the Worcester area. McGovern is a big fan of the brutal dictators in Cuba. He has been for years. Havana Jim served on the Human Rights Commission in 2019 when he led a congressional delegation to Cuba to push for normalized relations with the island nation that has tortured and killed its people for many decades. Cubans live in poverty with little access to education or jobs.
