By Sue Danielson Apr 5, 2021 (Linn County, IA) -- The Linn County Sheriff's office is releasing the name of a woman who died in a rural field fire yesterday (Sunday). Authorities say 79-year old Carol J. Woodson of Marion died as a result of a fire. Crews were called to 3000 block of Gillmore Road around 3:15 p.m. due to a fire that had spread out of control. Woodson was pronounced dead at the scene. (Photo KCRG-TV 9)
