By Parker Reed Apr 11, 2021 (Des Moines, IA) -- Police in Des Moines are investigating the death of a man who was hit by a car Sunday morning. Police say they were called to the 4500 block of Hubbell Avenue around 4:53 a.m. to the report of a pedestrian being hit by a car. They say the man was dead when they arrived. They believe the man was in the traffic lane when he was hit. The name of the victim hasn't been released at this time.
