By Jason Hall Photo: Getty Images The Southeastern Conference has voted unanimously to extend invitations to the University of Oklahoma and University of Texas to join the league. ESPN reports the 14 SEC presidents and chancellors all approved the founding Big 12 Conference schools' request, leaving OU and Texas to officially accept the conference's offer as the final piece to complete future realignment. The board of regents for both the University of Oklahoma and University of Texas have scheduled separate special meetings for Friday (July 30) morning, where they plan to discuss conference membership. Oklahoma's board is scheduled to met in Oklahoma City while Texas' contingency will participate in a conference call.
