Asymptomatic coronavirus testing centre opens in Peterhead A new asymptomatic coronavirus testing centre has opened in Peterhead. The facility will run for the next 12 weeks - and offers a drop-in service for anyone who wants to get checked for the virus, but does not have any symptoms. It is operating out of Rescue Hall on Prince Street from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, with the last admission at 7.45pm. Anyone who lives, works or studies in the town can access the site, with results provided on the day. A statement from Aberdeenshire Council said: "It is estimated that one in three people with coronavirus do not display symptoms and therefore some individuals will be spreading the virus without realising it.
