Glass installed as bookies' favourite to become next Aberdeen boss Former Aberdeen midfielder Stephen Glass is the bookies' favourite to take over as manager following the departure of Derek McInnes. The 44-year-old is currently a coach with Atlanta United in the US - a club that have close links with the Dons. He played for the Dons between 1994 and 1998 and made more than 100 appearances. Others being quoted at short odds to take over include the former Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson, who left Fir Park earlier this season, Enzo Maresca - an Italian coach at Manchester City's academy, who has also been quoted for the Celtic job - Paul Sheerin, who is taking interim charge of the Dons for the remainder of the season, and former Scotland managers Craig Levein and Gordon Strachan.
