Adell, the 10th pick in the 2017 MLB Draft, was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake and started in right field. He doubled twice, singled and walked. Phil Gosselin also had three hits and drove in three runs, Jack Mayfield slugged a two-run homer, and David Fletcher and Shohei Ohtani added two hits apiece for the Angels.
