Maj. Aaron "Amber" Frey, 42, of Evergreen, has been identified as the man who died in the accident that occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. near Panamint Valley, California. Frey was assigned to the 370th Flight Test Squadron on Edwards Air Force Base in California. He served as an F-16 Test Pilot instructor for USAF Test Pilot School and an F-35 Test Pilot for the 461st Flight Test Squadron.
