Controversial Kenyan pastor Shepherd Bushiri’s head of security and his wife, a senior member of the SAPS, appeared in the Pretoria Magistrates Court facing charges of corruption this week. Rosey Resondt, a 45-year-old brigadier who works as a member of the SAPS National Organised Crime Unit appeared in court with her husband, Clifford Cornelius Resondt, who works as the head of security for Shepherd Bushiri. National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) national spokesperson Sipho Ngwema said that the couple had appeared in court on charges of corruption after Clifford had been arrested on 20 January 2018 for allegedly raping a child.
