According to state police, 31-year-old Patrick Rourke faces felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Troopers say they were called Nov. 29 for a stabbing at an apartment on Main Street in Lilly Borough.
According to a criminal complaint, Rourke confronted his neighbor about potentially removing items from his apartment.
Troopers say the confrontation escalated leading to Rourke pulling out a knife and stabbing his neighbor in the chest and arm.
According to the complaint, another neighbor heard the commotion and saw Rourke on top of the victim with a knife in his hand.
Trooper say the victim was taken to UPMC hospital where he is being treated for the two serious stab wounds.
