 North Pregnant Women May Take Astrazeneca Shot: Dr Rachel Devi
In a release, the Ministry of Health and Medical Services urged pregnant women in the red zone to get themselves vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine.

Pregnant women in the Northern Divi­sion may take the AstraZeneca vac­cine instead of waiting for the avail­ability of the Moderna vaccine.
This was confirmed by Head of Fiji’s COV­ID-19 Vaccine Taskforce Dr Rachel Devi.
The current quota for the Moderna vac­cine will be used, especially for expectant mothers on Viti Levu given the severity of the COVID-19 cases on the main island.
