Penn & Teller I’m old enough to remember when comedy/magic duo Penn & Teller were an underground phenomenon just bubbling into the mainstream thanks to the success of an Off Broadway hit live show, appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and an almost inexplicable cameo in Run-D.M.C.’s “It’s Tricky” video. It wasn’t until decades later, though, that I got to see them perform in person at Northern Quest Resort & Casino, and I can happily report that the lanky Penn Gillette and his almost-silent partner Teller remain incredibly entertaining. If you’re not into magic, the laughs come steadily enough to make it almost like seeing a comedian (or two), and if you are into magic, no one does it better than these two.
