Bless him he ll be back you ll be back yes so what I want to talk about the same thing with these to happen to me. At Villa. A couple of seasons ago. It wouldn t happen in your day there wouldn t. Be one triple 3 star your message that has been received when to send a text as I say and lots to come on the show looking at a new book about Newcastle with Martin Hardy has written that book it s all about the period after the season when you Castle almost won the league has already written a book about season touching distance while this one follows up what s happened in the season since I m looking forward to chatting to a man who s a bit of a legend among some of the fans in the George Forster sun and serial ports Association chairman he s got some stories to tell but I bet we could probably fill a whole show with him yet even though he s 98 is like a character day so I wish him Happy Birthday and have a chat to him later on as well he has seen as I mentioned 29 managers. Since he had when he 1st started following someone when I thought about using some players as well and yeah even if he was a. 20 I managed to least 33 David Moyes pauses someone supporter probably has a scene of quite as many people I view. I haven t Simon to be honest. I just wanted to pick up on what Ben said at the start there about. What s wrong. Tell you what s right. Well that s a technical guys it s all it s all over in a nano 2nd what s right Gary not think the club is wrong from the top to the bottom . Was pretty typical of what s wrong in the close to 2 or 3 days and performances we ve got a good young kid who will be aware fairly shortly before we all know that. What a great get on Saturday after that it s headless chicken and spineless not where they should. Cut you off to Spain they simply came along to the fight that image. For the for that 1st goal a little toy and that s just not good enough. After year after year after signing the death players who would never not really not good enough and like where. There is no doubt in my mind we re going to get caught. Out in my mind I finally got. I honestly don t think I m not a sucker the mileage it got but I don t like this guy the money. Came I was in the . Last year and I was asked the question would we stay up my answer was definitely and that was because of the guy in charge. And we ve gone back to our old with. A certain amount for us and we can t afford the players that we ve got we just we just simply not good enough a lot to respond to that. You cannot continue 2nd the manager can you know can carry it and it doesn t it doesn t it doesn t it doesn t put stability but you say I recently got a question of money I do I wouldn t have got a question the manager to the press conference is now legendary it s realistic I accept it s realistic but you know we have to be doing better than not and that comes from him he needs to be in exist upbringing tonight he needs to start taking some backside and getting a few of them in the city on a Sunday morning after the rain object on the Saturday. Who would go into the thing you know let s be realistic I think maybe he s looking at me saying you know you look at these group of players maybe. Quality in. I hope that s what is thinking Gary I really do. Think and because you know as well as I know that that is absolutely right. Everybody should have some pride in wearing the should you did around you did Same with an indoor and a lot and you cut a place of the past it starts with having the pride that starts with having a passion it starts with having a desire. Where without it you won t do anything with it guaranteed to get anything but without it guaranteed to get nothing and that s that s a start point for us and I had one of the reasons why so the 2nd half of desire was that in the new place it seemed to be really gendered in the older player as well a more established player and something happened to the spark in some other life was the instigator of that but you just can t see that on the David Moyes temple I can t and you re right pride you know that there was a spot that was something that we we had a fantastic 11 games we didn t play brilliantly well but we changed every ball down we made every tackle we didn t shirk a single tackle I can remember saying the tackle that the corner put in on on to when we played Manchester City almost caught him enough now I m not saying we go around people of the page but I saw a similar position on Saturday where I could shove just joined and these players need to stop pussyfooting around their egos that just wasn t good enough for a midfield player against a player that won t get the ball. I m right behind you Paul but when I mention it I get slaughtered for it well who do slaughters it well it s been brought up you know when obviously that challenge I thought should have won in the middle part which enabled West Brom to break away and scored a goal you know even if they did win the ball the player doesn t call posture Yes You know you ve got it may be taken for the team shall we say but with the here that has always taken one for the you know it was far too easy yeah you know you can go back to obviously my comments when kerchief went out for the headers for calm down it s turns out that is the only time string is out for maybe 6 weeks but it s just little things when you think we were 2nd best in challenges yes you know and he I don t want to talk about monitors you know look at the monitors we ve got we ve got all of them cannot be but. You know we were talking about you know the likes of Steve Bruce we ve had Martin O Neill You know Martin O Neill was somebody who. Support is wanted you know so why do all managers struggle when the take over Sunderland is it though some of it is to be again put in the historical context of we go back to this fact that this is the longest run they have had in the top flight since they were relegated in the show you know it isn t it should so in that sense although it s always been a struggle but at least a valid to stay up and actually that s an improvement on going up and down and up and down up and down. I mean. I don t know for any more stable I went. For the 1st 2 or 3 seasons back in the Premier League I would accept that survival is the case. But the question is how do you improve. The team over the last 10 seasons the Premier League has got the quality in the Premier League. Season again it s massive I was watching the man month plan a different game to Sunderland. I don t expect this to be my top. 10 seasons to be back to the know where we are we just showed up just a little bit more not just I just want to thank God I ve already said that I mean I agree with what you ve been saying and you said when you went for that head it didn t call for the head of the guy 6 foot 3 and when he goes up for every 5 foot 6 . He didn t go out but I ve never been criticised in the past Paul thank you very much to me for being 1st up this evening you agreed with a lot of thought and some new I got a fair play to. Fair play he said it s time to stop pussyfooting around and criticize them when they need to be criticised that s what it s all about Donald tells you you know and again you know managers with John s post under I ve played on the you know you want to go out there. And I know people say that the game is changed and you ve got to be careful with these players because you know. The money situation and there is a little bit fragile but sometimes you ve got to say home truths you ve got to tell players what it s like and I think sometimes you Dan find out more though players find out whether they ve got actually got to her desire to go well around the sleeves open I ll show you wrong and I ll make sure it doesn t happen again or how do you really shrinking violets 19123265. 65 did Paul provoke you. Either agreeing or disagreeing with him come on tonight Tim in Berkeley says I totally agree with that caller the stability we need is alibis though not mores and Simon it s another sometimes body says I used to dislike international weekends now I don t mind them because at least I know my Saturday night will not be ruined $843.00 b.n. You must do that is b.b.c. This is total sport on b.b.c. Newcastle and the time is 547 of the weather this evening well the odd shower is possible 8 degrees Celsius the minimum temperature tonight and then tomorrow a few further showers through the day maybe with a few Sundays browse as well and temperatures tomorrow reaching 13 degrees Celsius a one is still a lane down at southbound a lovely Hill there s a broken down cars causing a bit of a queue no major hold up he s busy actually mean opposite direction just because of the way to traffic really from there up to the Metro Center through swell overdriven flyover at least as far up as Canton bar it s not solid all the way over Sunny stop starting up the a one case had to Newcastle and also southbound approaching Newcastle from the north still looks maybe a little bit slow at passing Kingston park still busy on west road and also the a 69 either side of the I want to burn going to Newcastle a 167 from before Cow Hill towards cow gate stamp them right approaching county lines also looking busy Great North Road outbound also heading into gas furth Central or coming off the scent from the chessmen road heading out sent from 02 am to the time bridge one thing still came both ways so when roundabout with the road was north of the tunnel and still heavy on the Newcastle road approaching a 19 at the test those roundabout other areas maybe quoting off a little already of course if you spot something keep me updated out there a one I want to double 3 double suitable 9 isolators time son James. Has Seen you can Sunderland s 2021 city of culture being. Northeast sports a disappointing results against was good to give them even tougher games against the freaking tackling trial Falcons. Is from humble It says I m sorry to say but some of the pretty much where we were last season or where we were last season you classify we were last season under McLaren you have too many players with no pride for your team not enough heart where Newcastle had to clear out of the players who were meant to be international players who in my view weren t putting in the performances players who think they are better than they are personally I would like to see all the Northeast teams in the Premier League chins up says humble humble see some some parallels between some of this season a new cast of Lost. I haven t seen enough of Sunderland this season to pass comment . You know so I may wish I would see a lot of Newcastle loss yeah there is that as well yeah so I think it would be very unfair of me to pass comment on some of them because I m seeing them in all the season of I ve just seen snippets of them and on the telly. You know we got rid of a few last season. But he s brought a lot of. As in you know this is basically a totally different side you know if you look at the squad that he s assembled as was the 27 of them I think. You can keep them all happy but he s brought an awful lot of players in here as well so it has been it s been a total rejig of the squad it s interesting you know you ve got the African Nations Cup coming up you know I think sort of knows what 3 or 4 players. And there s a junior budgie So just like I mean you look at you look at the squad already hard for the movement of those players can you know all players who were on the 1st started but still important player so you can lose them so you going to be at least 3 or 4 bodies down straightaway Yes So if you and if you lose 2 said outside of Chile bodies be left out the last. Game but yeah who do that bring in is a replacement. You have to have O Shea and it s in the narrow suppose. They said to have Perry it s always left of them over there are about unless he s come in well it doesn t expect that to happen but it has to happen. You re talking about by then are we going to be addressed. Same old story about 819-123-2656 extension 5 the number to call if your views that are not so much up to Norman who is a New Castle support So welcome to b.b.c. Newcastle Norman. Hermant. Tell you what I ve just enjoyed listening to that last that was on because what you just said they re both the parallels between the 2 sage of last season and this season. To me it does stink of one thing with both clubs and that is that some of them play as the what they last season John and some of the players this is not a new fossil and. You look winning I think in the good not a true towards the true fans of to help you lot I m a millionaire what do you got it say but is not the right attitude now to me the biggest the biggest one the wm was just so over us last season never really put a big shift in till this 1st game last game of the season where he is now let s say be about those up for Tottenham because to me it didn t really only did it in a lot of them Kim s last season joke yeah. I d have to say to those quite a few of them didn t their wages and a lot of games last season the Norman Celko. He never he never reached the height. You know the one above saying yeah there is no he never reached the heights that you thought he was going to reach after his dad you you know everybody high respect is that you against Chelsea and he was he was magnificent and you dear oh dear what a young nice to hear you know you ve got a real player on your hands here. And he he never did it again he never really did it again I mean yes he was actually one of these in games where he never got to not you know he never you never reached those heights but you know to the last game of the season yeah when there was no play for when it was all done and most of the performance in but he was in the no Nerida you know there was a lot of important performance in mine when I was in need it was the week before when you went to Villa when you were desperate to get a result it was shambolic yellow Well listen but this isn t about law it was like I thought he feels the same way as Newcastle fans last season because to me the northeast we ve got 2 big trucks with Newcastle and they re all being blown away so I think we re bigger. Than say. Going to get one in like a new nominee and thank God. You ve got a look at it they ve got 2 well supported clubs and the fans are sort of dialogue firms what different to the ones if you know what we really are supposed to learn and Chelsea to me the good guys you know that Man United and I ve always said they have got sort of supporters all over the world that have probably never been able to offer. A diehard that from the area go to the stadiums the watch the teams. You know we ve got low support us got nothing for with no Bob for donkey s Yes. Logan out of this season rough I. Bring it on board I m not enjoying the route there s nothing John. Not very little but yeah well I think it s something we re going to have to get used to Norman to be quite honest I think it s something that . He feels his war going and at this moment in time you can t knock it you know because he s getting results out of it. And I said this last night there were losing games then yeah you could turn around and say Well well he s wrong in doing what he s doing but he s winning games. And I think I don t think that the changes that he makes weakens the scion in any way you know you think oh well are we going to be weak up you know if you look at last week Richie a lot of eyebrows were raised when Richie got left out he brought out so when. The one lead to me is me at the moment he s keeping the army in and I haven t seen anything from him in the last 4 or 5 games and still not say the start of what. I mean I think the army is an interesting one in India and it s going to be interesting to see after this international break. If he still is in favor because . I tell you he s really poor against Norwegian I didn t think he was great. But. No I think Clark s done Ok I don t think I m the mother but the fundamental Well I think I think probably our best the founder you know people will say well if he s our best the founder Why isn t he in the team. I think there s one or 2 issues there I think that the fact that his English isn t great I think the communication factor was. A problem as well I think beneath his looks at that and he wants he wants his defenders to be able to communicate so I think that s a problem as well but. I still worry about us defensively I don t think we re we re great defensively We ve been better away from home defensively funny and off than we have been a whole Norman we ll have to leave it there thank you very much indeed for calling us this evening though we do appreciate your own according to b.b.c. Newcastle 091-232-6565 is the number if you would like to come on air at the time now it s just gone 3 minutes to 6. B.b.c. Newcastle Northeast weather and Jenny can tell us how it s looking is even for the weekend Jenny Hello there good afternoon very quiet weekend of weather we re still under the influence of high pressure over Scandinavia not stopping any weather front from coming our way from the west so everything is fairly quiet not much in the way of rain and it s going to be mostly cloudy throughout the weekend now into this evening we keep the cloud that we ve had today the have been well to showers around but they should mostly die out into this evening and it s going to be a dry night the light easterly breeze and temperatures falling back to around 10 or 11 degrees Celsius now the could be the other patch of isolated mist and folks more are mourning but I think essentially it s a dry start with a lot of cloud around now into tomorrow afternoon that cloud will break up in places so we will see some sunshine coming through there is just the risk of the odd isolated shower but it is a risk I think most of us are going to have a dry day tomorrow and the temperatures will reach a 14 degree Celsius that s 57 Fahrenheit with a light easterly breeze. The some Today night and on into Sunday it s not the fairly chilly night again we ll have a lot of clouds around there will be some clear spell So once again by Sunday morning they could be some patchy mist and fog but it s looking mostly dry Sunday it doesn t change very much it s a mostly cloudy day there will be one or 2 showers through Sunday afternoon but again most of us are going to get away with a dry day lots of cloud the out sunny spell temperatures between 12 and 14 degrees but in the sunshine it will feel quite pleasant that into the start of next week nothing much changes we keep the blocking weather pattern so lots of dry unsettled weather to be had fairly cloudy throughout with temperatures in the meat teens now if you re off to Holy Island the sea evening you can cross on the causeway from 10 past 10 tonight thank you very much indeed Joe Enjoy your weekend a lot of getting in touch about some of the saving still from Stanley being one of them who s had texted he says we can t keep sacking managers but Maurice is slowly sucking the life out of the club and how can a team go from a team that beat Everton at the end of last season the what we are now for more is to state that he s getting the best out of the players true he says. Those of the players they were under Saddam and his short legs to sell up the new clean slate with fresh energy bringing into the club. He goes on to say we should have to make do with just a body and it should be to be happy with a point against West Brom if we do go down we need to go come back stronger. So. As far as going to games at the minute is concerned it s a sure didn t what more is needed a fresh young manager like Ra it s not the merry go round of managers like Moyes who look scarred from previous jobs a long text from stew and a lot of strong points as well one triple 3 Start your message with that is b.b.c. . This is a castle both have the weekend off but we re still getting plenty of calls about the clubs this evening Paula Sunderland finest told us he s convinced they re going down this season do you agree been talking about all the different problems that he feels need to be solved at the club and well quite a list Newcastle for Norman meanwhile said he wasn t happy with Rafa as a rotation policy but he does think that the players are more motivated the last season scored what do you think 819-123-2656 extension 5 is the number Christine Atsu who is playing for Garner against Uganda still Miller that would get up past 4 but who almost scored 5 time they Andre you haven t and Jason been there among the Northeast based players featuring in today s international football Meanwhile in cricket terms Ben Stokes scored a century as England won their opening one day against Bangladesh by 21 runs Jake ball took 5 wickets on his debut as well the Durham head coach John Lewis says the county s punishments from the e.c.b. Newcastle them but always here and those here as well the number to call it was over 912326565 now on Sunday afternoon a team of Newcastle legends managed by Alan Shearer is going to take on Manchester 11 to mark the 20th anniversary of the Magpies famous 5 nil win over Manchester United 20 years we believe that proceeds from the match of Kingston park or go to the Alan Shearer foundation of the world 30 kick openings look at tickets for managing and playing for the Manchester 11 would be Keith Gillespie who has been talking about his memories of one of the players that he ll be up against on Sunday to know us Priya it was really a one off. You know the special character of one of the d. . You ll never ever made against I was very close to have had a real good relationship with him and certainly you know look at the Barcelona game where we scored a helter got night and it s a performance that I don t think you ll ever see again in terms of. As a lone striker hired to. Occupy a park for Nike did he just run the rocket and we re not talking about a Mickey Mouse team here we re talking about Barcelona and he was just exceptional and from a great for me to sort of. Talk about putting 2 crosses and but in terms of hired I had to be I to be a proper striker on that he was just incredible Do you think we ll see some Tino on Sunday definitely. Have you seen him. I don t think he misses as well as he did years ago and he s put his Put the before low but. You know I ll be surprised if we get 15 minutes out of but you know it s great for Newcastle fans because everyone loved him and you know the fans are the special child Tino teen or you know so you know it s great for them just to see him again you know and he loves us he loves this region as much as I do and you know so it s great to the fans and see him back here Keith can I speak pulling no punches there speaking to the b.b.c. Just to joining us now a man who I m sure remembers that 5 no game very well indeed. Read the book it probably features in 2nd book on you Castle United I Martin how it is in the studio Martin. Very well thanks you wrote touching distance under the really read touching distance No I haven t read you should know I ve read most of it I actually haven t quite finished you know it s about the 199596 season but you realize there was more of a story to tell beyond that Martin and well kind of touching distance was the romance if you like and when it was finished and the book did very well. The kind of the the reality that was looking around the corner kind of came in my mind to write a complete well a different kind of book in terms of just this complete roller coaster ups and downs and cup finals. 5 nil and be in Boston a $32.00 but then 2 players finally sit on the pitch. Managers come and managers go and it was an absolutely breathless Peter Thiel that followed suit was kind of I m sure this more the story to be told and start speaking to people and before you knew it the 2nd book was was on its way so yeah similarly going to see people and talking to people but not quite with that there was a romantic spectacles on that was on for the 1st tunnel of love it s called Why is that several different reasons the book starts with Newcastle going to Wembley for the 1st time in an f.a. Cup final and that he called a century they came out of the tunnel end which was just a sea of black and white they walked out in the black and white strips and it was just an incredibly. You know you could feel the pride of the city had been back at Wembley for such a big occasion. That was kind enough for the forefront of my thoughts as the tunnel and the book could suffer 2009 which ends with a complete different dispirited Lemon at the Villa Park and humiliated without even going down with a fight and in the middle of they have Tunnel of Love which has reference to color courts and what you pay which is you know where I m from so there s a few different reasons for it you know that even that song is representative of there we go there I was raising. I was going to mention the song. Because you know it s so many people come and see it s like a roller coaster and that is the song that Mark Knopfler and dire straits you know me allude to there was great times in the Spanish city so yeah or all of that is kind of encompassed in it Chris has faded out voice even got to go in. Business. But. There s also the fact that when I come on here you ve played such obscure songs I never heard of them so I thought I d lay one on a plate for next year it seems that I did in this case here that this will be a theme tune so it ends then the book ends in the relegation season the 2009 Yankees and so yes I mean a heck of a lot of ups and downs as you mentioned there but I ve got the chapter titles here and things that are to be forgotten about come back as well I mean obviously there s the there s the incident with Craig Bellamy and John Carver Yes I believe that there yeah. Because we heard from the features in different ways you just me he does he has the glory of Barcelona and I guess the in glory of evening in net and Dublin when he. Made it made it made a really bad call the fight the couple company cussing they had and. Said he made the challenge and Alan Shearer went Ok then and then he went oh no what have I done and he said it was a long voice and I could hear him breathing down my neck as we walked across the street how he tells that story as well and yeah I mean I guess every player. I have it from their own perspective does. Talk about it as well as he just like to. What I ve done is kind of changed in a ration briefly for small periods inside the book so. The 1st person narration from Alan Shearer As for the game it in Milan which is an unforgettable night in the club s history when $13000.00 fans when Milan and Alan Shearer led a team out in the Champions League fixture and scored 2 goals and a great night. John Carver does the same for the even if I annoyed which Newcastle fans again will never forget and she gave in and Steve Harper do the same for the for the f.a. Cup final so it s just kind of to get directly inside the dressing room for what their thoughts were at such key moments in the club s history was kind of a desire which changes a little bit from the structure of touching distance but a lot of the elements are the same you know I went back to those songs for the chapter titles and as you say there are so many and you re run through that period and. Gone through the game when you got beat 3 a look at Anfield when I was in charge of some church on a remember. And it just before Joey bought it return and he kind of forgot that he spent time in prison in the middle of Newcastle s fight to stay in the lead because you know he s been fighting outside a McDonald s and at about 5 o clock I want to it was relentless he threw into in there which is a war fighting going on in this book well that s why it s on the. Web And also you have the take over the club when Freddy ship was lying in hospital so it s meant to represent just. Really breathless period for the club. I think there was a desire from those inside St James Park it s for the best for the club and the other said that there are highs in there you know that this is a time when you Castle finished 2nd the 1st season the Kenny Dalglish there were 3 top 5 finishes and Bobby Robson there was Champions League games lots and lots of European nights for the supporters. But it was just such so breakneck and players come in and go and as I see it as you said players fighting each other. And you know obviously that kind of reached its peak when 2 players actually start fighting against each other on the pitch it is this party thought again unforgettable thing I ve seen everything here but. Every new low that there are so many different things to feature I mean we ve been doing this show exists 2009 so when the books are going to end and we always say you know there s always something to talk about Newcastle and why s it just a part of the world where there s just always They re not just kind of your everyday talking points but just ridiculous things happen well there s 2 things when I think one thing was before Bobby Robson s appointed Alex Ferguson said this football club. Needs to stay off the back pages of the newspapers for a few weeks I hadn t expected really a theme to emerge through right now but every manager said for example Kenny darkly said Newcastle upon Tyne is unique He said I ve played in Glasgow and managed to merge the side he said nothing prepares you for the obsessive nature of new customer support has. Said nothing a prepared me a been paying money Bynum allowance and nothing prepared me for what came with regard to the cutscene a it Chris you said the same during the period when Kevin Keegan left he said that was when he really realised how big the club was and Graeme soonest had quite a nice analogy he said I ve managed and you know in Turkey and Glasgow again I m in the side and he said every big club he said they re monster clubs he said he said at every big club there is a train coming down the track. No matter how well you do and he said it s 5 games away as soon as you want to buy a drone he said in the night it s 32 or one he said it will change that quickly so in light of that the interview with Graham soonest was around the time of Newcastle 2nd defeat this season when again implosion was just around the corner and then a rough attorney is going hold on a 2nd kind of and just take a step back we re all right run the right one the right track here so I think was a bit of a shock to wrap up a need as well and it is a theme that s kind of emerged through this book. Volume that maybe with a happy ending maybe with a trophy at the end of it well very mind the 1st weekend of the cost of not winning the title The 2nd book ends with relegation it would be nice the right one with a happy ending and you know that could be could be the Championship or you know there s a League Cup come pain still going on so and. Yes there s been a dramatic turnaround in the cost in the last 6 months and you know but. Former players about this in the past about kind of football club have a mood when the castle does have a mood and at the minute the mood is really optimistic and that s been such a huge change in a short space of time so it feels like you know them at the might be some some in Reston chapters in terms of perhaps a bit of glory to come in in the next year or 2 or good luck with your out and about this weekend in a couple signings. Time off the market tomorrow morning will be advance copies of the book so he is very kind of going to join us from 10 to 11 o clock to be lovely for people to come down and have a chat and we ll be there all afternoon as he will be on Sunday and if you can t make it the book will be available is available from touching distance dot com Thank you very much indeed Martin Martin Hardie and the right thing such a distance new book about Newcastle United and if you enjoyed. Watching This Is Your joy just think touching distance you will enjoy I would imagine total of love as well which is the new one which is just coming out so thank you to Martin for coming in this is just into total sports. Time now 17 minutes past 6. And half our staff and breakfasts we heard from the when he was reunited with. His grandson which is quite a bit told him the same dismiss. The National. News. Stories of things like next week when you will. Feel that. This is total support on b.b.c. Newcastle Simon pride Gary Bennett John Anderson and you ll be buying the book which Well maybe you should write one similar one similar where you just you just goes off there for the last 10 years to be a similar one on some of them but oh you ve got your. Are now back at the still available still available is it becoming our Again a Christmas when they need a sign of our. Presence or do a message out to Kevin is a solid supporter he s on the line now give us a call this evening remember having lots of passionate sex on calls about from the busy evening Kevin yes we have indeed and obviously this criticism of the manager and previous managers and players who don t try and all this sort of thing which I m sure there s everybody has that lend to take but nobody is really mentioned that over the years and it s been a problem with some of them for a long time the lack of investment in players significant investment in players that season and if you look at the next stand over the last 567 years perhaps all the time that been in the Premier League nothing gets 10 years. Has been you know in the lower actual aunts of the league compared with the clubs to the extent you know that were outstripped by clubs in terms of spending like Stokes like swanky like new even Middlesbrough this season Bournemouth Leicester just and of course that was something different what were the valid spend Southampton West Brom and now Crystal Palace. Yet we have almost twice the attendance that these clubs and I said this during the transfer window when everybody was getting Richie s off. The lack of aspiration and the targets that we had and the signing you know I m not I don t want to be disparaging about players who have signed the Clippers and i m will support them but you know they re not exactly what you d call jaw dropping signings. And over the years because of that we ve lost top players straight away because they ve been attracted to or the clubs because they know that someone won t spend anymore they might spend 10000000 on that and Johnson got there then they ll spend 2000000 Argent one fall back and does nothing or you re a glance and a half that took doing nothing for us instead of investing in quality players that are guaranteed at the club last year and the other issue is the overreliance this again is because we re frugal with the money that the short is prepared to spend on learn signings so that when you get to the end of the season quite often these players play very well because from Flint and yet we lose them like in via like at the end of last season we re lost yet when y. Will let him go I have no idea but he at the end of the season was playing very well so almost straight away you lose 3 players and that means that at the start of the following season. If fighting you re fighting to just recover where you were probably in the square one again by No I mean absolutely excellent points that he made very As indeed Kevin and do you put that down to recruitment you know are you talking about investment fund and have invested in one or 2 players you ve got to say it up again where not enough it s more about scratching on their own it s more it s more bargain more you ve got a lot of guys Ok you look at spending 5000000 for the likes of Donnie Graham. Yeah he goes on a free transfer. Even Fletcher You know how much he spun him 1X2W1X2W what do we get that for him. Out of contract got not enough in Europe you spent 10000000 on a Jack Rodwell. What would you give him now if you were selling well so and then he d call them to talk about you know very much Ok then you talk about Giaccherini How much do we spend on him about 8 and a half $1000000.00 I just mentioned 4 players there and the amount of money which we spent on what did we get back from so maybe you know getting money back for not getting but what about but what about performances of Jack or any. You look at the even fact Ok that he really just won talking about now you talk talk about recruitment but having a ball and the quality of players he can now he spend 12000000 on a Steven Fletcher Ok you spend 5000000 on a dunny what did we get back. In regards of playing wise quality Well exactly because we were scripting around at the bottom and we re all the same came in very big around at the bottom and he said that what s on the need to do what he seems to do is to buy enough quality players to ensure that but clearly the players want constant quality of that which policy that players won t come to a team struggle in Iran get the table yes but gradually it wouldn t be at my point is if we were prepared to invest a little more in the players do right and gradually they would start moving up the table and then more players would be tempted to come but you ve got you ve got to show that the club has ambitions and what the club fails to have failed to show is any consistent ambition beyond staying in the Premier League in my view that s why that s why I wouldn t you ve got to you ve got who else can you play and you know. I m saying Who do you blame do you blame the owner if he s making money available Ok do. You blame the manager he s made money available for the manager Ok The manager has got scouts all over. Now so if the scouts recommended a player. To the manager the manager says right we ll invest in him is it the owners fault. No but yes but the overall purchase the overall plan to purchase the manager is given this is how much you ve got to spend right and if the what I m saying is that amount that is good that is given to our managers to spend simply not enough to sustain a team that is going to stick how to how can it be that a club this is the 6th best supported club in the country last year ends up at the bottom all the time not well not investing enough in the club too many too many scratching around at the bottom and sure we ll get the odd 10000000 but I think you find if you compare our are the number of players that we ve been buying. You know say beyond 5 figures. You know Ted s 10 or 10000000 and above it s very few Ok and I m you can t you can t sustain it when you re playing Chelsea in Tottenham and asking every week Kevin thank you very much indeed for your call again some important points that he s made and. Talking about the investment Well it s a saying is that I mean if your parents and the other clubs right are Sunderland spending and of money are you. Look at the. Yes they re unique because one else is going to do the other. And they say it s alright it s alright on spending money but it s it s the quality you know it s you know you know it s you can go on you can spend huge amounts of money so you know I m not as Kevin says spend a lot of money and guarantee you stay up then because you like not to you ve got a ring in your layers in it s the skeleton system that you know I mean Lester you look at what last are brought in for the money that they they pay it for some of the employers at that will never happen again that number I m talking about this a lot on social support this week suddenly the inability to start seasons well in the cycle that they re in this constant annual battle of against Premier League relegation perhaps the money s worth putting those struggles into some kind of historical context I mentioned earlier this is the Black Cats longest unbroken run of the top flight since they were relegated for the 1st time back in 1958 or a man in the lineup probably remembers that relegation very well he might even recall the last time someone won the league which was back in $136.00 he would have been a 10 year old boy George Forster the chairman of the sun Supporters Association is today celebrating his 90th birthday and he s on the line now many happy returns George and given a merge. Thank you thank you very much for coming on the show this evening you obviously still go to lots of games doing well I don t get to be away games now I don t know wanted to see. You know I don t go now because. You know. Just about. So. We have. court d you. Know. You watch a lot of the games on. And then of course see. Us. If you marry for do you think you can turn the situation around well you know if that s all it s on about hope you can only hope that he can but he himself knows darn enough I will come down hard because her a had the game down in that check cook and I saw there was a glimmer of hope with early on really played excellent football with all the help we wanted to the Seigneur players and I thought some of those lads could call it you know Committee command the into the state because the really true who having a healthy Poland and I m of the school carried out a pull the scope of the bring a lot that s the best because I got to Rochdale as well and I saw the men against boys you know but. Again it did put a smile on my face and later in the next round I might be a Mickey Mouse they put that again it s it s getting played in the winter games winning games you get confidence but I just feel sorry for a manager who you know as it s called it wouldn t know the tame I wouldn t think so very well and to get them to chant again you know to get them to vocally get a really difficult job and we have great we almost had wins you know like at Manchester you know that giving points away sell them later on in the game and of course the Crystal Palace much that was it was very very sad engage especially when the 1st family had to goes for a long time I mean you ve seen you do more to be seen for so many years I mentioned that job so I mean how would you how would you put the way they are now into context because I mentioned that spade in the Premier League for a good few seasons but I have struggled but you ve seen plenty of relegations in your time as well yes ever get their money now was about 6 I think on a down on the wall at one time I m not the obvious Italian No But no I. We re doing we re going to be very very difficult if we went down to the so many good teams now in the Championship will be struggling. But well coming up. On Tuesday was my birthday then but I got a big surprise I ll go to the senior citizens supporters meeting you know we will meet the players a common shows you have them on and I got a big surprise when in came the manager and the chief exec and presented me with. A 90 it came as a total surprise but excellent and well I only know of a bump into down that hardly pose a bump in the industry and I m David Moyes and I just said come on it plays trying to get some 6 footers in the side that has been a downer you know through injury to really win them a good and a little triangles and we rarely win them and what do you say George when you told him you know if you say a great. Great Age of progress will just you know I ve seen the damage the thing is how do you think a little fellow like Jim and before you know the all the balls are you got to be on the ball Ms Tippett And I think here and I say well you know Jermain Defoe if you study for today George Bush really well I didn t know that because of 2 was a phony month for May because as Charlie s birthday on the 4th and then on the 6 it was. Quinn and then there was soon after that and the billabong commerce monies on the 9th Circuit I don t normally count of don t but there s no I don t know. There s an all of the birthdays and. Rocking out George since you were born from the father on the monitor very apparently 3 marriages in Ellis tree only 3 others before that the pope Kyle was manager when you were born so you have a lot of different managers a lot of different styles Why would you not fit your favor. Where I got 2 or 3 I got 2 or 3 a like Dennis Smith like. I didn t want to I m not going to mention the solo did you say some of them. Dennis Smith and moving on I even I mean say Bruce had me on the economy not what he was the amount of the job and then. Also pain over that as well. Timed it was no. But anyway. I just just so disappointed this club should be should not be where it is today when a notably relegated as well in 57 that you know I ll never get around Brown for that you know if I m in same international zone on you know and understand I don t know why it went so wrong but I got the children I ll turn it around but we have to come up you know what was the 1st indication in the club s history with me that. Well you know used to collect programs and on the front of the old program never go to the 30 vision and shooters in which existed in the tradition but that s history and that s a long time ago you know George Yes You know we re going to have to move on but our boys should have we could fit and healthy all my I think would be great to get you back on the show again another time when we ve got a bit more time maybe even get in the studio if you d be up for that because would be fascinated to talk to you literally about the current theme about some of your memories as well but in the meantime would like to wish you Happy birthday to George. He s gone. And we re going out so well. Thank you very much you know yeah everybody but I do enjoy it all the best I know but by George happy once again yet 90 today George Forster from the some of the porters Association has been chairman for. Getting the bones of course to match their eye so he s still making trips to how to put in Rochdale to watch jackets raids trophy. Massive respect to George says this text I remember him on the supporters club bus in the seventy s and eighty s lovely bloke a truce on the legend that s typical of the messages that we are getting this evening lots of debate about Sunderland generally tonight as well lots of people calling in to tell us where they think Sunderland going wrong Kevin call us earlier just said something they haven t invested enough money in quality players players that can guarantee survival and that s why we have this constant cycle of a relegation battle Meanwhile elsewhere while we ve been talking Newcastle United we ve been talking about the team of the ninety s and then beyond we talk to Martin Hardy who s written a book about the way the team progress or otherwise since that game 20 years ago since that season 20 seasons ago when you cast that 5 no win over Manchester United a game which is going to be recreated this weekend as well it Kingston park so that fits in rather neatly Newcastle s Christian Atsu by the way started to garner and the World Cup qualifier against Uganda that one is finished but apparently he didn t chances for Kristie at so in that one elsewhere in cricket there was Ben Stokes scored a century as England won their opening one day and Bangladesh by $21.00 runs a bit more cricket to come on the show in just a moment one triple 3 if you want to send us a text message start your message with letters b.b.c. Gary and Stanley says Now Quinn said in the press this week he had spoken to some supporters and they said there are positives out of this Saturday s game against West Brom I don t know what game he was watching but I saw no improvement at all he was so lucky to get the point it was untrue we are says Gary in Stanley total rubbish. Total rubbish total rubbish Yes. But total rubbish us became going up against and west. To games where we got to make sure that we don t get paid for points at least from those games being that s been the general consensus on the well hold so fingers crossed but it s not going to be easy you know. It s just that you wonder who s going to be fit for the game better cricket before we talk women s football or. Cricket 1st their head coach says the decision to relegate the counties the Division 2 into dump them $48.00 points next sees knocks the stuffing out of him John Lewis told b.b.c. Newcastle Mick Barnes It will be a tough task to win promotion but the reaction of the players still at the county has been positive and tone Bonzi that he had expected more of a punishment but wasn t prepared for the severity of the oh he was expecting punitive punishment but wasn t prepared for the severity of the sanctions imposed by the e.c.b. I was shocked as anyone I think if not more so as you say we felt that there might be some sort of. Some sort of punitive arrangement because of the financial. And other we we got from the c.p. But I think we saw it being quite as severe as it was and the money was or was a tough day at it it knocked the stuffing out of coffee people are you classify to here the support you ve had around the cricket world because as soon as that sentence was passed so to speak. I think just about everybody was sympathetic to Darren s plight and especially to those that really seem to be harshly punished the players and you and the coaches who who are they who are the innocents in this if you like Yeah the the outpouring of support has been extraordinary I think we thought we d get a bit but we are I think we re officially everybody 2nd counting now but even those who don t even people have no interest in cricket we ve had football clubs taking up memberships we ve had other Council members of other counties taking up membership with no thought of ever using them they just want to be supportive of down. Our own members maybe pensioners members of to choose to take a pensions membership and taking full membership because they want to support County I ve been stopped in the street in concert having a cup of coffee by members just telling me I support it they are. In a tough week it s been it s been amazing to have some of that good stuff come through even other head coaches who sent me e-mails and phone me up and said look it s tough that is Mike that s really rough but if anyone can get out of it you so . Yeah it s a tough week it s been great to have that kind of support and it has been way beyond what I think anyone could have expected and you talk about tough I mean what is it be like for you walk in here of a morning we re sitting in the boardroom now and you look out onto this arena here and just take in what s happened last time I sat in this room was Monday with the board remains of the board and they were discussing the press release and the wording of it was going out and there was and then find people that in this room who are probably walking out for the last time and that was hard because the people I ve known like Bob Jackson have been around for a long time and to see them have to walk out of the boardroom knowing that probably not only returning to it is was really difficult hard for them as well you know nobody can deny this mistakes being made along the way by us that s not try to hide from that the been some really good people are going to lot to the club over the years John Lewis They re the Durham coach speaking of the 1st time about their arms relegation and points the ducks and obviously he was a shocked as anybody with Monday s news Grimsley to hear what he had to say that Bonzi from Durham that have been relegated to that may be promoted it s a crucial weekend in the w s l 2 for the Rams when they host 3rd placed everything on Saturday needing a victory to keep alive their promotion hopes now the 4th in the table point behind Everton 6 away from your oval and Bristol City who occupy those promotion places but Durham do have what could be a crucial game in hand on the top 2 as well and their captain Sarah Wilson has joined us in the studio Sara. Thanks for coming in make or break time really isn t it it is it s a big weekend this weekend it s going to be going to be a good game and a competitive game as well I mean I guess a draw no good to either of you so you re silly both to go. Yeah that s what I mean last time we played havoc and way and we ll come away with a dro so it can either go either way this weekend and so we re expecting a big game yeah how s the season gone as a whole I mean at the beginning of the season were you expecting to be involved in the promotion race or have they actually got a little better than expected. To be honest it s come back at I am I think at the beginning of the season we yet we panned out looking to him top 4 hopefully we can finish off and do that but I don t think honestly we we thought that we were going to be kind of fighting for promotion with with a couple of games to go so I don t think it could really come back. What is it that s meant that you ve done so well what has been the key to your success this season do you think I think because we are kind of a new Super League team what we re pretty new team and it s took a couple of years for us to to form and to sell books now I think the goals that we ve got in the squad in the coaching team around where we re finally we re finally gel the ca and you can tell both on the pitch and off the pitch you can tell that when we play for each other you can see it when we play and I think that makes a huge difference how you re coping with the pressure of being out there that s all because of it it s a very different feeling when you re up there that s open and you know that every single game is is crucial and the rewards are so huge Yeah it is pretty tough I am but again it s just how you deal with it no one expected us to be here and so to be honest we re not really playing with any pressure and we know the effort and they ve been chasing promotion for a couple years now so it s big and they have plans and so we re just going to go and play our game and and really really go for it to be honest when are you expecting 3 of that in there I did indeed say I was expecting believe it was back home during very well yeah she s had a crack in season yeah. Because I surprised you know about that because I know you are a virgin in the past and yeah and the manager as well another manager quite robberies than I could drop and very yeah he works really hard and he s got a great team and it s good that we can kind of reward him with a little bit of success because of all the hard work that that they do off the pitch you know you know the rivals and they re going to stay in the u s l one which is which is great news but to join them really. Untasty removed it Maine to Durham if he could get promoted Oh it would be incredible especially for women s football within the northeast of always done pretty well and there s a couple a great players in the international So people who are from around here and sort of have to take Super League sites play and in Super League One would be would be incredible but that s obviously the whole that s what we re really want to go for if you did go up I mean. Interest in women s football still is still growing all the time it s greater than ever has been is the case for going full time to think I would I would like to think so it s something that would have to obviously sit down and have some real talks about because obviously it s a big lifestyle change for for a lot of our goals I m booked to compete that s what we would have to do there s no doubt about that now you can tell you can see the top 4 in Super League One they were all full time you can compete with that if you knocked so yeah he would have to do it how healthy is the national game now do you think Oh I think it s great I think game if you look back from the success of the Olympics and then that the gales he went away to the the will cope that s that s really really push the game that way all the success has come from because of how successful the national team of being and I think it gives us that little bit of a boost and and everyone seems to be more involved now which can only be good for our game and every found that crowds have been increasingly friends park yeah definitely I mean especially for us we don t have a men s club attached to us so everything that we do has to come from we re all in or media team which again are voluntary and work incredibly hard and so yeah the crowds this yeah I think what we re pushing over 300 every game which is fantastic which probably you know even if you thought kind of 56 years ago you wouldn t have thought that would be possible with you know no not even last year and the year before that we didn t we didn t really come close only only in the big games and now forced to be average in that it s excellent Sean how far that we ve come or the fact that it s still growing means you don t know. It is you know that s it I try to be just a beginning is so exciting and yeah especially for some of the younger girls coming through I mean this is a perfect opportunity for any young girls to get into football the doors are open and yeah and if I don t know is the case it is getting more and more competitive actually for girls we want to break into to get recognized and to get I mean you know the opportunity is there for more supply a but it also means that there are more competing for only a number of sports at each club that saved I mean there wasn t that many opportunities a few years back so that s opened up so obviously wouldn t get a lot more girls participate in but it s going to really start not going down and you re going to be able to have to just pick from the best day to really to really go for it not to be interesting that they ll be playing in a highly and the men s Yeah yeah I think when you look at you know where Durham annoyed that young guy attachment to them and yeah. In the week you know I don t know if you followed about West Ham United Yeah one of the stories story that you know you just imagine you know there were supported by. The men s club at all you know who were trained on the streets and now you know that strange to turn around so you ll be interesting to see how you re actually going to sit there. And he be the only club I would imagine in I don t know if there are others that aren t attached to men s clubs as well them complimentary like yourselves basically doing all of your own no no the at the isn t that many of us am I think some of them do have links but not necessarily have the full fold back in which is again down to individual clubs we can t really have a say in that but yet for what we do get with well limited resources what have we doing really well this year so hopefully we ll keep on Finally what s the key to beating everything the weekend. Nothing to loose yet play out like games with no more gold yet scum like cause I don t see any others like I did and yet you re fine Ok well you saw it all goes You never know when exactly you know it s if you can t I mean all these pressure games you probably fly by don t they but I am sure you will all the very best and you very much like you and good luck for promotion as well fingers crossed that this is total sport just go quarter to 7. Maybe the 60. Percent season. In the not. To good music links agenda. Is a big player to music if you made. Me. So sick. To. Kick off a new found spot by the way 2 o clock on Sunday afternoon if you want to go and support the remote for they can get an even bigger crowd for what is a crucial game hopefully will be a big crowd at Kingston Park on Saturday as well tomorrow the Newcastle Falcons and our commentary game on b.b.c. Newcastle looking to bounce back from last weekend s defeat by Worcester they host Bristol the Falcons 8th in the Premiership 2 victories to the name so far Bristol 0 have lost all 5 so far prop Davy Wilson is going to make his 1st stop for the Falcon since he rejoined last month Michael Young but said at scrum half the rector of rugby Dean Richards told b.b.c. Newcastle s Ian Smith they can t take their opponents lightly and you don t have to look at the change of the flight so far the slightly different to us and so they go that way different team all together and I but there are there there are good same on paper and you don t have to look at the quality of the players they ve got so it s very difficult what sort of challenge you think they ll bring that up the physical front of the scrum is not bad. And I got people like Jordan crying on the side oh. Big Bill cries for them coming Hansen if it. Should be should be a threat so you know that the p.c. At Santa is not a pipeline you know they ve got the global ties all the good plays all around and in that respect they ve been real threats of us recall kick off commentary as I say here on b.b.c. Castle all frequencies Gateshead a return to Dover tomorrow so we ll keep up with how they re getting on as well the Alaskans team ended a 4 much wait for a goal and a win by beating try in midweek they are currently 11th in the National League. All of that much in any team in a division and I will you know stick to the few but we have being consistent because sometimes with pretty well lately since sometimes with being below par and when we have been booked Well we we ve lost all we ve drawn and we ve dropped points and we must be more consistent during the season I know with probably short in terms of personnel and for various reasons We ve obviously lost a couple out of the squad but that will be addressed but it will you know it takes time it s meant that we go the present being given a chance and deaf to take their opportunity but to still give everybody a lift again difficult opponents with 2 of our own said you know there s no easy games and I think if anything the games that we ve had in the last 2 games or 2 on where you know we all look at the fixtures everybody looks and thinks well you know should be get beaten them but it very rarely works out on top of your play on the day but if we put our best then we can obviously win games that was Neil Aspinall Gateshead magic Gates had signed Don Jones on a month loan from Grimsby today so they go into the northern Premier League blind spot and who last for the last 5 so problems for them there was home to Michelob. And basketball tonight the Eagles host the Scorchers almost anything out Speedway. Indeed testing the castle diamond to get the right house rockets in the knockout semi found this weekend with tension of course talked about it last night did me under we had the captain we did the diamonds in the studio with a dizzy boy he is indeed yes he s on the right. The big Lyndon good on him and good luck to them until they get to the final and maybe brings him to home not to some of the fans getting in touch with us to see if that s got Robin on before we speak to Christians our Friday night bookmaker or the Sun The debate is something I m sure is going to creep on into on a roll on day next week as well yeah absolutely his own people getting in touch tonight Robin thanks for calling us cos I mean I got to tell you just a Robin Robin how I cover not survive John and that s about a man I ll just I ll just just make the call the notes you know I ll I ll I don t hold a recently to roots and I m certainly regulate should you know what s in the Crystal Palace camp and comfort us who are the supporters of all over the country I was the only silence on it at the office and then of course I was jumping up in the woods so there will also help. Me out a buck too often. And. I think the problem stems I was on the program just before the end of the transfer window and I was saying how underwhelmed I was with our transfer activity and what was said or less when say what we saying and I m so we haven t and it s just. Scored is a sin of taking the injuries left right and center and you know it will go to Kerry when he said what happens on the African Nations Cup comes up I ll tell you what we ve got near John Major problems and you know that s one of what we re going to do about covering was positions well they don t like spending money on their emergency status but we re going to have to do a lot in January because what they re like about that in the summer was dreadful and I know there was a family they sing with England and all the rest of us. Are. That you say you re emotionally Natacha several couldn t days in and I don t know where it s all going wrong I really don t I m of the opinion now I think I think Mr Short s lost interest and I think if he had a big sort of clearly self and that s why honest opinion whether or not a room in a gallery whether or not there s anything in any of them I have absolutely no idea Chinese consortium other people yeah in the room is out there but you know even if it s going to happen it s not going to happen to season is a no no I think you know it s going to take at least you know weeks for it to turn around and then it could be a Championship club right by the neck so they might be thin and waiting to see what division we re in I think they ve got every right to is rug because I ll tell you Look we ve got some good players I m not saying we haven t up and I m not the one creature that would always try. I think the 2 try I just a lot of coffee is quite it was over and it was a lot for a strong pull out for him in a grid point you know I saw it on holiday and watched the lakes at top in the city in Liverpool and see if I got in on as apart from someone. Absolutely streets ahead and it s quite nice to think that said before not far behind Ok because I think at the end of last season this big summer I was very confident the season we re going to want to do something but you know I m going to be honest I m going to skeptical Robin we re going to cut a little bit short hike is almost out of time but by all means come on again on Monday because I think we re going to continue this debate a lot of passionate people ringing up this evening I ve got most among a few more than one to come on hopefully and will do so on on Monday evening but yeah I mean I think it is the end of a lot of people s tether Isn t it better well I m a poet especially you know Ok The West Brom game a couple more more but you know the Crystal Palace you know tuning up and then he says as though somebody put a pin into a balloon and to this. Competent and again you talk about hobbies and unfortunately we re in a battle of not winning games speaking of deflating balloons. Constituency . Because. That s how you know Chris Jones is here now so I want to hold out into it if they don t well I don t know Chris you know I mean in many ways bookmakers told me it s all me but make is generally deflating kind of characters and they build up hopes that pop it all right and I don t know but I would link him for almost anything they gave us I know fair enough. I don t well if you see so if you say so what are the odds of someone to stay open for Newcastle get promoted you can cheer us up maybe I mean yeah well mission in the still of 5 to 4 the still there are 40 the road they go down to go down the set in get relegated Newcastle are actually 6 to 5 to win the championship so that s not even your Super Bowl ring in mind the 3rd it is very short yet but I ve been getting short all season I wanted to be fair so before this argument before about how short the all the 6 to 5 The thing is people are still backing them so even though it showed and then people are still backing them so give us a football team for the weekend Chris my Beyond want to keeping up with the Joneses it might be something else with an office and a tasty prices you ve spotted you don t you know if you if you look at the International says just nothing really tasty there it s all you know that you think I mean this so many big so many short priced their favorite as I found one I thought Poland. 6 to 5 it s home to Denmark wasn t a bad shot and also 64 I think talking to Turkey I thought they were the only 2 that I could find that was standouts for me. Thanks Lynn Ok will see which one you go for are you keeping up with the Joneses How big is not an embassy Newcastle the focus against Bristol and Rob Union s permission I would imagine the focus of the whole favorites for that yet without a win yeah yeah the aha favorites I mean Newcastle 229 fears that you don t often find that the Bristol s.m. The 2 the Top 21 and the handicap 9 and 10 start for Newcastle is $1011.00 from a 10 point deficit they would need to make up one Ok to give us a racing to cross. Yeah well I think I mean if this is all it takes to morrow which is. A new market I think the probably got. The want. But I quite like what you re going the 345 that you re like wait it was called into salt and knocked it. Into that s a good that would be a nice price you can always have a whole scene keeping up with the Joneses of course which is al again where we put a virtual $10.00 pounds each on usually a football but for the weekend and then find out who knows best at the end of the season been a reigning champion and he was yeah the reigning champion until the end of the season what you re talking about really you know the minus 70 no one is still. On the minus $45.00 me minus $4350.00 well it was Gary most of the time Chris plus $25.00 yes. Both and we couldn t get week. For it but you had one for tonight Bournemouth and they drew get another Yeah well it could make a lot. Of money so Ben who gets to go 1st this week is the top of the league Carlisle to Wimpole to school. Called a little favorite to win $1.00 0 no no it will be $5.00 to $1.00 class of one it s not a bad price you get in there. And often our time to win a top of the table school the 2 are found yet are you just pinch me you know. But yeah I agree with actually saying if you want are you going to give us 5 to one then yeah I m going to give you 5 to one you re getting I ll get you know I don t want to get well you know. 7 Then you give me 5 I m going for both me it s a big Belgian but Posner with one goal start 33 to 20. You know yeah yeah well how about I ll give you something for thank you yeah I think that tell you what that s generous Yeah very I don t expect anyone to get rich mood Well you got to go for the worse yeah you re going to. Be fair Christie did tell me that earlier today that s what he s going to go coincidence here for some reason just because Enjoy your weekend bursting people s balloons because that s what he does. Thank you thank you thank you very much indeed as well enjoy enjoy your weekends enjoy international football or whatever it is you are going to get up to if you are going to touch with us before when next on how you can email b.b.c.
