He said I also my girlfriend of 10 years to marry me on Saturday Thankfully she said yeah it s really good. For. Good. Things you learn to. Support this information in your head. We re going to get. The subject. Algebra. And used it since is my job in the army didn t require and neither does the legal profession is much part of the school any Never I wish I d been taught how to manage my finances. The curriculum say and I think I think they are going to do that I think that there s already been some. Talk about the Committee to try and change the national curriculum to get I. Think. About the agricultural revolution. Of chemistry I would say has been literally no use to me at all not even when it comes to the chemicals easy cooking something and I absolutely know. The most practical thing. This is not like says a life skill we all learned. You know sometimes while you learn. Things. Just by rights you know where you re just taught something I remember this in my head which is the exact definition of respiration this is respiration is the process involving the exchange of gases between the body in the atmosphere in the observation of sugar in the tissues really Senator I knew that when I was 15 it s been imprisoned in your mind. That I like all remember anything else yeah. So you know I mentioned earlier that I can still play Dungeons bunny on the recorder I can still play Chopsticks on the piano as well. Yeah a lot of people say play the piano and he looks really impressive but he can do something. Yeah you need a little bit more. Useless things at school. brought together on you know struggling sharecropping sort of Southern form in the south in the forty s right in also has a post-war were too bad you know because you have to war heroes who come home only to find those behind enemy lines Jason tell us tell us about your character. Is He was a take command in World War 2 he comes home and he has sort of a new militants about him you know and he isn t afraid of a fight he stands up for everything that he believes in no matter you know what the consequences are for that I had to go from from a from a kind of current to perspective a guy from you know. A character Paul van and w.i. You know American hip hop group how to get from the character in this well actually my grandfather fought in the Korean War So I sort of got to his own watch this guy . I grew up in Wallace and I m only 2 generations away from that you know so I got to watch it just pretty much my whole life just kids my grandfather s oldest brother was a slave you know to me so you know we I got to see this sort of heads on my entire life but my grandfather went to the war came home with a 5th grade education and you know started a business and all these kids to that shoe because all he could do was pick up trash you know and now. Able to tell his story on the silver screen mains is a big do get right what made you take on this particular role the role Jamie I felt very close to me because also both of my grandfathers were in the war one of my grandfathers was stationed in the Philippines and the other in Germany and my father was in the army and so I grew up from one grandfather hearing a lot of stories that were quite similar to the role of Jamie he came back and you know we had to have him self a whiskey and be quite the story teller of his times overseas and I also had another grandfather which is like another caller of Jamie that didn t speak about it you know even though that he was be 25 fighter pilot and was bombing you know thousands and thousands of people and came back with survivor s guilt and p.t.s.d. And. You know in the book it was very interesting they had this. They had a section that spoke of one of his the rules that they had as bomber pilots back then were to return home with no bombs and so a lot of his survivor s guilt and p.t.s.d. That he s struggling with in the film is the fact that he knew that he dropped bombs over thousands of refugee camps and innocent people and so it was a lot of these insanely horrific moments that led to the actions that he takes and the scape as that he withholds. In the film I mean long story short it was more you know meet my grandparents and some sort of way what your favorite wall films I mean this this this could be one of those Couldn t it what other war films do you think I wish I was in this one is kind of it s different you know it doesn t spend as much time on the war as it does experiencing these 2 families on the struggling sort of share cropping you know farm in the Jim Crow South. I mean you know but I mean the bridge over the River Kwai or you know one time I broke my arm when I was snowboarding and Colorado and the greatest thing about it was I got to watch Saving Private Ryan and. Chicken tenders as I wanted so I d go with those really good about you. I m a firy guy myself you know because one of the things that. I did see when I was going to say one of the things that show is that it s sort of this intimacy at war and I think fury did a really good job with that you know because when you have a war you know really thinking about all the possibilities you know you just and you take a plane and you re trying to get from point a to point b. . And that was sort of their story when this what was it like filming with Mary j. Blige because this is my biggest film role yet isn t it yeah it was really cool actually because she did herself 100 percent down she just wanted to lose Mary you know I didn t know either of us yeah you know it s kind of. Completely humble herself I remember she told me one thing she was that Jason you know like. I m a legend in my world Yeah I ve done that but right now I m stepping into your world you know she was a big fan of straight out of compliment yeah she s. Very humble and she was that yeah I m steppin into you guys world and now I just want to I just want to get it right and I just want to do my thing you know.
