Dollars company has been back on the rise touring military venues with us and grossing production of 5 soldiers which is set in Afghanistan and originally created with the help of 7 personnel as they prepared to before much to night at the corporal but v.c. Jim in culture. Of 16 ever sold brigade including t. Battalions of the Parachute Regiment the dunces all conscious of the Prussia Liz Mullins been along to meet them but 1st his the company s exec. Directed James Preston he recaps on where the show has been staged to Saif on this year open but there are a festival fringe and performed in a reserve center for 3 weeks or then transferred to London to the t.c.m. Plame spary and then went to hole in a reserve center in a research center in Swindon last week we ve done the army national boxing gym in the shot here in culture and on the last weekend ter in Birmingham at a research center I think it will miss it when it finishes its pretty intense touring model because as well as performing the show in Army venues are often staying in Paris as well so this week we re in the offices mess in culture storage very lovely So it s quite an immersive experience for the whole company great We ll speak to the. Brad show here live tell of the view of the with this particular touring production. I joined last year so in 2006 so how old is the show are the shows 1st made in 2010. So when you going to run out of gas and. Maybe heading there right now by my visit him often next year but obviously you don t always stay with the production all that time my 2nd there s a guy that has been doing it for 3 years and if you ve joined the service well thank you very much lake how it how it s Alyssa How long have you been with this production I joined the company this Yes So I ve been touring with it since July did you a lot of catching up to do with the kind of military ethos of the production yes definitely I think the hardest thing for me was learning to rail and sort of on the Attica but that now you are the feminine element in the show in every sense if you went in this the story slightly different wouldn t yeah I guess the story would be slightly different I think I as a whole represent women in society and women in the Army and just bring another element to the Shea Now Duncan I understand you re quite an old timer with this show despite your youth. And yes. So I ve been with the show since 2015 there s always something to keep bring me back I think it s a camaraderie on the way it s a small tight take that group and the way we work together as what brings me back a lot of the show I mean obviously Reza carries the choreographer and the creator and so on but are you a bit of a mental when new people join the cast section in the show we call it ma throw because it s very complicated and it takes about a month to learn so I have been helping the new guys with that does get very stressful and being close to punch ups with we all pull together d their response to what s your history with this show it s my 2nd year I have to be here suffered Sergeant serious nor do you feel under pressure when you re being watched by members of the military you are aware of them. Even when they re not in their care or in you know dressed up because we would be more on the forehand that they hey you know make sure to make sure we re looking good looking tips Well if you get to one of a. From there and because of the representing them on their injustice can you feel this is such a thing point where they re suddenly on your side yet definitely so far off the surface 10 minutes I think it was Recognize of all the stuff the daily stuff that they do my doing in the pace of the trail in and the relationships trying to think you re famous so get them off about 1015 says Nice is very nice and here we have off the substitutes bench Benjamin Johns I joined in August I fretting for French a week before all of the Russell was in jail yeah I got comments requests and a lot of pacing awake and I m fully firm and so was it don t think prospect the comp gets a better idea I m still struggling but I think I can win that it s always never here when there s lots of uniform in the audience because you want to get a fair representation and you want to do just as well at the end of the day which you d rather be adults or soldier down for every day this mom forces range yes in the face the gym coach just to try to fit in the race accounts company 5 so it s. Just the. right answer but well done it s you Gary in a pace skip a and. For all my war and in it Kabul sunny Kabul nice little bit of sunshine on a weekend but it s getting it right this morning is your breast you can t hold it no one can hold it but will probably someone can but you know the strongest man can hold me for more than 5 minutes it is a breath so I certainly can t do it can you if you guessed and that s it today that was the answer to the breathless brain teaser. You was a good in the jam going underground on a b s b s got some Azad and paid you Williams is coming up after the news taken is the news right now it s an oldie but a goodie is Daniel Bedingfield gotta get through this. Show. Just. Just the. Show. Just. Like t.v. In the. Great.
