We got an upclose look at the Drone Program israel uses to get details of potential targets. This is what an israeli drone sees over gaza. Cnn got special access to this highly secure Israeli Air Force base, home to the Drone Program. I spoke with lieutenant orr, whose face and last name were not allowed to show. How do you do that . Washington is a place that works for those that have the money to hire armies of lobbyists and lawyers, but for everybody else, for regular people, for regular families, washington doesnt work so well. Thats right. Amen, sister. That was straight from the heart, thats why people are going crazy for her. Heres Hillary Clinton, who i also love, trying to make a similar point about 12 hours earlier. Im worried that other people and particularly younger people are not going to have the same opportunities we did. We believed we could make our way up the ladder. Now i think a lot of people dont believe that anymore. That bothers me a lot. We have to pay attention. It says to me youre running for president. How easily you pivoted from that into income inequality in america. All right, they are both talking about the same thing. I just didnt feel fire from Hillary Clinton. The Democratic Base isnt fired up . You can bet Elizabeth Warren is ready. She seemed to be indicting your boss. Whats wrong . Washington doesnt work. You got me. Sorry, obama. In the crossfire, former governor Bill Richardson, who ran for the 2008 democratic president ial nomination. And former minnesota governor tim pawlenty who ran for the 2012 republican nomination. Governor richardson, i think Elizabeth Warren proves, i have been saying for awhile now her problem is going to be she doesnt speak progressive and she doesnt speak millennial. Are you concerned Hillary Clinton might be able to connect if she runs . I think shes very strong. I have seen her with democratic audiences. I have seen her latest stump speech. Its very strong. But if youre contemplating a run against her, she is a centrist. So somebody like Elizabeth Warren could beat her, but could mount a very Strong Campaign on this income inequality issue and especially in the early primaries. Tim and i know, iowa with the democrats is far, far progressive. New hampshire is far progressive. But you get into the primaries in the west, texas, the south, i think thats where somebody like Hillary Clinton would be very strong. You have progressives coming together at net roots nation from across the country. Its going to be beetle mania for Elizabeth Warren. Look at this tshirt. Theres going to be a thousand of these. Would you wear one of these . Im from the Elizabeth Warren wing. No. I have had differences with secretary clinton because i endorsed obama. You guys already forgot. I havent forgotten. You said im not in the ready for hillary camp. I have it right here. Im not in the suckup camp. I do recognize that shes formidable. Shes going to be perceived as the first woman president. I think she did a good job as secretary of state. You sound hesitant. Whats your hesitation . My hesitation is we have political difference with her and her husband. I like the cars. Theres a difference. Im saying hes overstating it. Thats the point. So hillary was spoesed to be invincible last time. She wasnt for a reason. Somebody from the left outflanked her. Somebody more comfortable in the way he presented information named barack obama. He up ended the invincible candidate. She came out with a book tour. Looks uncomfortable. Elizabeth warren setting aside some policy differences, dynamic, comfortable in terms of how she presenting. Has a passion and a way to present. That is very different and more capable than Hillary Clinton. But shes not going to run is the problem, according to her. Anything can happen. In some ways Elizabeth Warren, she isnt gunning for Hillary Clinton, shes gunning for you. Youre associated with wall street. You have been a champion for wall street. Are you concerned that somebody like her catches fire and puts you in the cross hairs . My group represents Financial Service companies all over the country. But theres an issue around income inequality. We should have a serious discussion about it. But keep in mind, things like education inequality is one of the root causes of income inequality. Lets not just throw a label on it. Push it one more thing. You are close to Financial Services. We would say wall street. Do you think they are more in favor of a Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren . Would you be more for Elizabeth Warren or Hillary Clinton . They havent taken sides in any of this. Of course, they have. Hillary is giving speeches to goldman sachs. Why wouldnt they want Hillary Clinton . If you took a poll, youd probably have a split. Some are republican, some are democrat. None would be with Elizabeth Warren. Probably not many with Elizabeth Warren. While were talking about Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton, theres another democrat who is contemplating a run. Thats martin omalley. Im more interested in the way he seems to be framing his noncampaign campaign. One reporter called it compassionate competence. Im wondering if you think that democrats who are thig about running for president are now going to try to draw distinctions between competence and the incompetence of president Obamas Administration . Look, i think what a lot of democrats are going to be doing are testing the waters. Especially if secretary clinton doesnt run. Vice president biden, omalley, omalley was a good governor. Hes still a good governor. Hes right, i believe, on the samesex marriage issue, on immigration, on economic issues. Hes testing the waters. And many others will test the waters, but i think the big, big question mark is will Hillary Clinton run . I dont think its a question mark, i think its 150 she will run. So shes formidable. Now again, its too early though. We should be worried as a democrat about 2014. I want to keep the senate. Im worried about the senate. I think you should be. I think were going to keep it, but its going to be very narrow. We should forget this 2016 talk. But its so much fun. Im sick of talking about democrats. I wouldnt dismiss Chris Christie because, again, tim and i had the experience in the early primaries the activists show up. I think that Chris Christie is still a viable candidate. I think this bridgegate scandal is going to hurt him because hes going to be attacked by that, but in the end, hes a great talker but i think hes the whole Republican Party is going to have problems in a general election. The problem is theyre not like governor pawlenty who is a moderate. Hes going to hate me for saying that. He just called you the m word. Let me get you on the record because you do have a different style from mr. Christie. Lets hear from governor christie. Did i stay on topic . Are you stupid . On topic. But they got the nomination. But it didnt work out in the end. In the end, the Tea Party Still controls your party. And the tea party is going to be anathema. Youre going to need somebody to win the election and be the nominee that can straddle both parts of the party, the establishment wing and not so much the tea party but the libertarian wing, rand paul. Who does that . You need someone like scott walker and marco rubio, but someone who can have one foot in both camps because if theyre just libertarian or just establishment. They miss out.
