My investment in america includes new investments to make our communities more stronger and resilient and making the most significant ever combatting the climate crisis. The bipartisan infrastructure law, the inflation reduction act, includes record funding to help communities drought, flooding and wildfires by creating fire buffers in high risk areas. For example, im traveling to colorado this afternoon where the forevers is funding 600 acres of hazardous fuel. This project worth over 300 homes is going to reduce the risk of wildfire and if anything happens, save lives and harnessing like advanced Satellite Technology and get predicting where wildfires are going so we can better position our resources ahead of time. We funded 300 water projects including projects that are going to con seive tens of millions. And army corps of engineers, national officeric and Oceanic Administration Fund Projects to improve flood and coastal and i asked about one coastal particular town and instead of Building Back the beach to the point where it was before, put how much sand . [indiscernible] 30,000 cubic sand. We are electric grid to withstand stronger storms with stronger materials and thats likely to increase. Reducing the impact when power goes out and make it possible to get back up. We are funding conservation, restoration and protection of coastal areas and flood resilient projects in disadvantaged communities. We have 32,000 projects underway.
