Now more than ever, i believe we must forge that new leadership in the Republican Party rounded on conservative principles that defined our movement. Ill never apologize for believing that having faith our nation and in our people doesnt mean turning a blind eye to challenges American Families are. He looks us in the eye and told us bidenomics is working in the American People know. The truth is, the biden agenda has failed the American People. Today i asked fellow republicans, in the days to come will you be the party of conservatism or will we follow populism and conservative principles . The future of the movement in this parties belongs to one or another, not both. Because the fundamental divide between these is unbridgeable. History teaches societies with more freedom and Less Government flourish. Thats why we have a brilliant system of checks and balances, divisions of authority, coequal branches of government. Sovereign state governments under our system of federalism. Conservatives understand to advance an agenda on behalf of the American People who must work through the system. Of those who believe in limited government and individual equity who keep faith with our constitution is the Republican Party. For decades conservatisms ideological has been liberalism and ideology long found favor in the democrat party. The radical left has taken Democratic Party into the abyss of progressive socialism and the guise of their woke agenda. Ir conservatives you government with great suspicion, progressives eagerly in pursuit of their Political Goals especially avalanches of spending and mandates, green new deal. When circles are obstructed or delayed, liberal progressives undermine our institutions and are prepared to disregard the constitution. This week Senate Democrats attacked the Supreme Court of the United States again demanding an investigation into Justice Samuel alito despite the fact that three liberal justices engaged in the same pattern of t behavior. The attacks with which they differ news and they have no standards little but today another strain challenges conservatism not from the Democratic Party but from within for control of the Republican Party. It takes thehe form of populism rather than progressivism. Those ideologies are fellow travelerss on the same road to ruin. Populist movement have long been a part of the fabric of american politics. They most often been led by democrats and more recently Bernie Sanders and other leftist who share this but today a populist movement is rising on the party, growing action with substitute in limited government and traditional values with an agenda stitched together with little a grievances and performative outrage. Republican populist would abandon American Leadership on the world stage embracing a passion of appeasement in the face of rising to freedom. Republican populist would erode our constitutional norms and leading candidate for the nomination lastt year for determination of all rules, regulations and articles found in the aisles institution. Even after historic victory for life, republican populist would relegate the cost of protecting the unborn to the states, much in the way during another time in the life of our nation and a great people trying to leave that question to the states alone. Populist republicans have principles for passing public opinion. Thats not a trade im going to make. Theres already a party that embraces easement abroad. Theres already a party that would ignore national debt. Theres already a part dollars to marginalized so i stand before you today, i am the most qualified, the most consistent and most proven conservative in thisis race and i believe for te psaki of our party and country who must advance a Strong National defense, limited government and traditional values and those principles must guide our party andip nation as much today as t they have for te past 50 years. Raising concerns about unchecked illegal immigration is being gracious, reluctant to redefine gender or use appropriate pronouns according to some supposedly evidence of hatred in everyones heart and intolerance. Once prosperous midwestern towns in my home state, entire factories were shattered jobs shipped over seas. Suffering from opioid abuse and addiction. The populist wing of our party is running in its efforts to address these concerns but the means of doing so are wrong. Rejecting three market l principles, limited government will not create prosperity or revive suffering communities, increasing Economic Freedom will play over good luck. Canceling those we disagree with will not protect values. Our case to the American People removing leftwing radicals from office will. I believe being conservative means standing your ground. Because we trust the American People, we know we can be honest with the solutions we need to. I submit to youu if we abandon that trust and cease to be champions of our constitution and principles enshrined, parties relevancy confined to history books. It may live on populist fashion but it will be a twist, republican in name only for the psaki of our party and our country, we cant allow the staff at. If we to defeat joe biden, the Republican Party must be the party of limited government, free enterprise, fiscal responsibility and traditional moral values and ill carry the that message across america in the days ahead. The campaign for the republican nomination in full swing we have come to a time for choosing. Will we embrace traditional conservative agenda that led our party and nation to victory and prosperity . Will we choose to go down the path of populism and decline .
