Michael, i want to start with you and ask a couple questions about what i was saying. We understand a judge in this case, judge Jonathan Goodman has now said that trump should not communicate with him. Hes been at trumps side this entire time. What more can you tell us about the charges hes facing and the news developing . What you make of the fact that they are not allowed to speak to each other . They are charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice and make false statements so they are intricately linked to that access which is the strongest we know from public reporting his attorneys are being paid for by trump, trump is trying hard keep him in line because as a coconspirator would be a critical witness against trump if he flips so the judges order these guys separate i think its a smart move to ensure trump does not try to influence unduly and interfere with his independent right to make strongest deal for himself something to keep an eye on, forta sure. Whats at stake here . We know he is a longtime valley for the former president and always stood by his side, what types of penalties . Lengthy prison terms and we are talking about a president of the United States sentenced to jail and most likely secret service cant even protect him in jail. U. S. Marshals in the Prison Guards cant protectct him so given any sense, it would be home detention style. I think he has to think long and hard what he wants to spend the next five plus years in jail because of loyalty when in all probability he could strike a favorable deal for himself were he to testify so the stakes for him are very high and the separation of the two will help him make an independent decision his best interest versus the president s best interest. Dont go too far, we are going to circle back with you. The former prosecutor, the situation, cannot talk to donald trump would you right now make a move to see if they would slip .
