People have been told to shelter in place since last night and some residents have been unable to return to their homes split from their family. Weve seen two dozen unmarked and marked vehicles carrying watt sw s. W. A. T. Team members as police fly overhead. This is about a mile away from where frein lived with his parents and about 25 miles away where hes accused of doing this ambush, killing one trooper and injuring another. This is a Hunting Community and everyone has guns. Theres acres of land and they, more than anyone, under how difficult this kind of search can be. Hes from around here. He knows the woods and the area and know where is to go. You know, they are searching an area, whether hes outnumbered or not, he still has a little bit of an upper hand because he knows the woods. We have video of it. You can see him sprinting and taking off towards the pillars of the white house. He wasnt stopped until he passed through the threshold of the front doors. He was not taken down on the lawn and he was not met by dogs, which is what we have seen in the past. At least one officer was outside the front door with a gun drawn but used his discretion and did not shoot at that time. Gonzales, we know now, was apparently unarmed during the incident. The president , however, was not home at the time but had only left about four minutes beforehand with his two daughters for camp david. His wife, the first lady, had already left. She was gone for the weekend. Remember, its only been about a week and a half since a man wearing a costume jumped the fence in a similar fashion. He was taken down in a different way. M. Police know who this man is. They have talked to him and searched his car and house and still they dont have enough to charge him with any crime. I think the war on women that the democrats in 2012 worked amazing wonders. One, republican candidates were not very good. They had a couple candidates who had very severe cases of foot and mouth disease. That was very problematic for this. And president obama was able to nationalize this issue which i dont think can be done. I think in this time around the republican candidates are much better and they are not able to nationalize this election quite the same way as they were in president ial election. I think for those two reasons it has not been showing the same effects in the poll and it doesnt seem to have caught on in the same way. There are people who are frustrated a little bit and maybe its helping around the edges but not as much as they had hoped. Because daniel, its compartmentalized. Lets say if the Democrats Gain traction with this angle, what does the party stand to gain and what does the party stand to lose . The senate and several house seats. So they are trying to poise strategically in different states where male republican candidates are facing off against female democratic candidates, in states like New Hampshire and north carolina. They are trying to where its just male to male matchups and in colorado its being deployed. Democrats are seeing their poll numbers slip and a little uncertainty. They are trying to throw up as much as they can on the wall and to see what sticks. If it sticks, it makes it worth it. If it doesnt, they move on to the other issues. Its a multifrontal war that the democrats are engaged in. The most formidable female in the Democratic Party is hillary clinton. I mean, listen, secretary clinton will continue to empower women, especially those on upcoming ballots. But did you really see secretary clinton getting involved in a partywide attack on the Republican Party and claim that the gop as a whole denegrates women . Certainly she hasnt declared her own candidacy and she wasnt been out as a surrogate for various other democrats. But i would submit that the democrats are keeping this issue alive, not just for 2014 election but with the 2016 election in mind. I think the war on women would be a very, very convincing talking point for hillary clinton, at least the democrats hope, and i think thats why they want to keep it around because they can nationalize the election, have a female candidate likely against the republican male candidate and i think thats what is at stake here and i think that explains whats going on here. In wrapping up for me, daniel, maybe its just a test run, if you will, so sort of they kind of know what you point out, which is this midterm race is too compartmentalize but if they put their toe in the water, they can see if its going to test. Absolutely. Absolutely. And what they dont want to declare the war over. They need the war to continue because they need to be able to elect the first female president in 2016. Of course, hillary clinton. This is a long game. This is a long war. And the democrats, i think, will continue to accuse republicans of waging it. Okay. This afternoon in baghdad there were protests against the United States reintervention in baghdad. Its thought in syria that u. S. Intervention could help isis become stronger. So this is very complicated. And the United States ought to pay close attention. When our friends are telling us, dont go there. And on that note of your arab nation, i want to talk about david cameron. He is not offering a air strikes. Is it possible that Prime Minister cameron perhaps may not be wanting to go on the record offering a air strikes in military assistance because they are at his front door. London is probably littered with terrorists waiting to strike. Thats a possibility. Another possibility is that you have to remember, a year ago mr. Cameron suffered somewhat of a setback when he wanted to go forward with air strikes and he couldnt get the support of the arrest lament. But there is another parliament. But there is another issue and that is how do you stop the war . How do you stop this war . You stop a war by starving it and the way that you starve isis is number one, they have control right now of about 800 million worth of oil a year. Countries that are our allies are involved in dealing with them in a black market. We have to stop that. We have to put sanctions against any country that would sell isis oil. And also stop anybody from providing arms to them. But congressman, as 1cp you , you mentioned plaque markets. Some of those speaking off the record, theyre doing this very far off the record. How do you stop those countries if theyre not even on the books with this . Theyre not that far off the record. For example, in turkey, its been widely reported that oil barrels have been seen in tushish territory that came from syria in the area controlled by isis. And what the real game is here is that isis is hoping to be able to when King Abdullah moves on, isis is hoping to be able to use its Popular Support to gain control of 26 trillion worth of oil. This is why we should be very concerned about how were handling this so as not to give them even more support at a Grassroots Level and we have to involve syria and iran in seeking a solution here. The United States has to be careful that we dont end up being in a revolver latter day crusaders inciting the entire muslim world to turn against us. Those points are excellent, of course. How does, when the president , president obama, comes and addresses the General Assembly next week, how does he lay out all of those land mines, if you will, and get he have been on board and say to some of those countries who may be not as far off the books as youre saying, but providing the financial assistan to isis . How does he get them to stop it . Relationships between nations are not unlike relationships between friends. If you ask a friend to do something, theyre not comfortable with and they let you know that over and over, quit asking. So i would think that what the president is going to find out after he speaks to the General Assembly is that the same countries that are resisting now will continue to resist. And we should take some note from that. The United States can no longer be the policemen of the world. Other countries will have to be involved in meeting this challenge of isis. To your point, if you have to stop asking, if the president has to stop asking, then how do you cut off the Financial Life line . We have to change our strategy and involve syria and iran and a solution and deal with isis because isis is not just a small group of terrorists. They are organized as a state would be organized. We have to take a very intelligent approach in dealing with them and not just say, well, were going to use brute force because actually, its the brute force that we use in iraq that gave a rise to these groups likes isis who are ready to attack us again. So i have to go, is president obama, his strategy of sort of being cautious, is that okay . You think hes too cautious . Yes or no .
