That way, when you get there it is as simple as they will have it packed. They can give it to you with social distancing. And it will be very fast. We expect that they will be able to feed a large part of the population. In regards to support i will say a lot of these businesses are small businesses. 500 or less. We have a specific program we will be unveiling that helps all businesses small and mediumsize businesses of 500 or less. A broader effort to ensure that government requirements rules and regulations dont get in the way of patient care during an emergency. Todays announcement built on a significant progress and i president has already made over the past three years around Telehealth Services. While we have allowed for check ins, Health Benefits have been restricted to those living in rural areas and for those brief visits. But no longer. Medicare beneficiaries across the nation no matter where they live will not be able to receive a wide range of services via telehealth without ever having to leave home. These services can also be provided in a variety of settings including nursing hom homes, hospital Outpatient Departments and more. Thanks to that leadership, we will also be temporarily relaxing certain requirements so that doctors can provide telehealth with their own phones and will be using Enforcement Discretion when it comes to collecting copays so that costs wont be a barrier. This is a part of our larger effort around mitigation. As we are encouraging americans to stay home whenever possible, we dont want our medicare policies getting in the way. Consider the implications of this. An elderly patient with diabetes needs routine check out. It has nothing to do with coronavirus. With our new teleHealth Benefits, this person who is not really at risk for the coronavirus doesnt have to venture outside their home. They can talk to their doctor via skype. They dont have to risk exposure to the virus. They can receive that care for the safety of their own home. It could be another medicare recipient who is experiencing mild flulike symptoms. Instead of leaving the house and sitting in a waiting room full of other vulnerable people, they can also receive advice from their doctor from their home. This shift is very important for clinicians and advisors that will face considerable strain on their time and resources. Medicare patients who dont absolutely need to come in to an office wont have to. This allows the Health Care System to prioritize for care for those that have more need or dire need and preserve protective equipment as well. The state medicaid agencies can also provide Telehealth Services without federal approval. We are asking all states to make this available as well. Weve also asked private Insurance Companies to expand their Telehealth Services and make it clear to their providers and expand for their members what they cover. To an imperative, getting americans they care they need during this outbreak in limiting this threat of the virus. The impact of this historic action simply cannot be overstated. They should not have to worry about federal rules and red tape. They need flexibility above all else. We are doing everything in our power to make sure that that doesnt happen. These are blossoming all over the country. Really pushing equipment. We expect over the next few days to begin setting up 47 of these in approximately 12 states. The material is already pelletized and being shipped to the locations. Most cities have the specific locations. About half of the sites that reported the requirement, we expect that to go up. This is going on the way we expected. We did a trial site yesterday with a full mobile unit for a drive we had a lot of kinks in the system as you can expect. We hear every night of people who are not in work moving that time into bars and other areas of large gatherings. If we continue with that process, we will fail in containing this virus. So every single generation has a role to play. We are asking our older generation to stay in their homes. We are asking the younger generations to support them in social contacting through videos and skype or simple telephone. We are asking the younger generations to stop going out in public places, to bars and restaurants and spreading a symptomatic viruses onto countertops and knobs and Grocery Stores and grocery carts. I heard an innovation last night and this morning on the news. I really want to applaud the private sector who are now creating senior only shopping times. I think that is extraordinary. I think that shows what america brings. I think other countries will learn from us about how to really protect seniors in this type of way. You have been telling us for days now that millions of the tests have been sent out. Why have fewer than 60,000 people been tested . I think you will see different numbers this week. All of the highspeed tests were approved last friday and last friday night and last thursday night. I think if i could talk to the other groups that have these platforms out there do not rely on a full technology. Push out those tests. We can only make them available. Groups have to order them. We have been talking to one of the key platforms to push out tests based on need and not wait for orders. Is the test being conducted . That is a great question. If i could say one other thing to the hospitals and dentists out there things that dont need to be done over the next two weeks, dont get it done. If you are a person with elective surgery, you dont want to go into a hospital right now. Theres a lot of distraction. There are a lot of people doing a lot of things to say peoples lives. Lets all be responsible and cancel things that we can cancel to free up hospital beds and space. Lets do everything that we can to ensure that we dont need the ventilators, because we protected the people that needed to use them. Are you looking at the possibility of more actions like limiting travel within the United States . President trump it is possible. We will see how it goes. It is possible. The governor has been really i believe doing a really good job of trying to stay ahead of this. 45 days is not unreasonable. You have to be careful. When you give the number, you own the never appeared at the number doesnt come out, you get in trouble. Were talking about a range. Within that range, its not like you wanted to be corrected. You dont want to have to back off. When it is the soonest that we will know that these new good lines are affecting the curve . If we get to steep in that curve, we will lose a lot of lives unnecessarily. If people do what we are telling them to do, what we are asking them to do, youre going to see the saving of a lot of lives. In the u. K. Yesterday, you saw what happens. It looked like they went a different way. I guess similar, we had a conversation yesterday. Similar to what we are doing. A lot of people seem to think, this is going to be we are looking to save the maximum number of lives. Everything else is going to come back. Our economy is going to come roaring back. On the other side of the curve and that is the day that we look forward to. This week it made you decide that now is the time to implement these much more stringent social distancing measures.
