Tens of thousands of passengers on Southwest Airlines facing huge delays today. Nbcs tom costella joining us from Reagan National air poport with more on that. Reporter theyre telling me the initial delays this morning seemed to have tapered off and as of 7 00 west coast time the Computer System seemed to be operating normally. They are still urging people print your boarding passes at home and use your mobile boarding passes if possible and that will speed you on to the gate. Yesterday tens of thousands effected. Today were off to a better start. You might call it flying the frustrated skies. Its poor customerinvestigat. Lots of people, lots of luggage. Nobody knows where theyre going or what theyre doing. The exciter crash crippling the airline across the board. From coast to coast miles of long lines at airports including nashville, phoenix and las vegas. One woman describing a three mile line with a weight before reaching the check in counter. Theres elderly people that have had to sit out in the heat. In laoss oka angeles passeng outside. Police were setting up canopies for shade. Southwest employees handed out pizzas to the hungry. Across the country a day of flying or trying to fly but getting nowhere fast. Yesterday they were advising people please get to the airport several hours early. Again, off to a better start today. Southwest releasing a statement. Heres what they said. We have additional work to do today to get bags delivered or some delayed customers into open seats. We have teams working as quickly as possible to accomplish this. Just after 7 00 on the west coast now easing up. Guys, back to you. Up to two hours. Tom costella, thank you very much. Such a bummer on the Holiday Weekend. A run for the white house. The president said if he were allowed to run again he would win but hasnt yet endorsed any fellow democrats for the debate tomorrow. His Vice President joe biden is still held up in delaware and not tipping his hand. International correspondent peter is in vegas this morning. Reporter welcome to las vegas. All the Democratic Candidates in the next 24 hours. Bernie sanders and Hillary Clinton will be laying their chips on the table. This morning president obama is defending his former secretary of state saying while making a mistake theres no evidence her private email system was used to hide something or squirrel away information. President obama speaking out about hillarys email con t controver controversy. Did you know about her private email while she was secretary of state . No. His former secretary of state should have held herself to a higher standard. Its important for her to answer these questions to the satisfaction of the American Public and they can make their own judgment. I can tell you this is not a situation in which Americas National security was endangered. I did not email still, the Republican Party isnt letting up. Theyre viewing this new add and ahead of the first democratic debate tomorrow night much of the focus is on the man that wont be on stage but his podium is there just in case. Vice President Joe Biden spending the weekend in delaware. President obama praising his v. P. But taking no position on 2016. Im going to let joe make that decision. Without biden in the race the majority supports clinton over Bernie Sanders. Add biden and that lead slinks. On meet the press sanders previewed the leikely hood of clinton a flip flop. His own left wing credential. Are you a catholic . No, im a democratic socialist. As for the republicans and trump keeping his front runner status. I dont think hell end up being president of the United States. Apparently donald trump is keeping score of the president S Performance last night on 60 minutes. This morning on fox news calling it terrible, sad and negative. Tomorrow night well tweet it. Great. Everybodys saying we did much better on 60 minutes than president obama. Hes up in the latest National Pole by six points by ben carson and has tripled every other rival in the republican field. More than 24 hours away. Peter alexander, thank you. Mark is managing editor of bloomberg politics. Good morning to you. Dpoorm, matt. Does a Strong Performance tomorrow night help Hillary Clinton more or Bernie Sanders more . Bernie sanders more. Hes introducing himself to the American People and if he shows himself up there able to be president that helps him a lot. He said to chuck todd hes not a capitolist. I think to Hillary Clinton people are going to look at that and say do yall want this to be our candidate . Hes going to hit her hard on her record as we just heard flip flops on major issues over the last decade or so. How poet innocent of how. From hillarys point of view she knows the reality. She gets top scrutiny. Remember eight years ago in an october debate in philadelphia, she made one mistake at the end of the debate on drivers license for people here illegally and it was a huge con tro ver si for weeks. She knows the margin of error is zero for her. The president weighed in on the interview on 60 mens and says she should have held herself to a higher standard and National Security was never at risk basically saying what hillary was saying on the campaign trail. On one hand you could help her out a little bit. Hard to know how he reached that determination when the fbi is still investigating. On the other hand, we know from reporting the president , Vice President , others at the white house are not pleased with the way she handled her email. The president didnt bail her out completely by saying this is serious, should be looked at and something shes going to have to explain to the American People. I dont think the people looked at what she said yesterday and thought that was the most possible thing. Let me end there. Without any unforeseen changes, joe biden is going to be watching this democratic debate in his living room or home or somewhere like that. What will he be looking to see or hear that will have a major impact on his decision about running in this race . Well, look, i think hes going to watch the debate for sure and see how she performs a and Bernie Sanders performs and how he does at the beghazi face to face. Really, matt, it comes back to no what happens here in vegas tomorrow night but whats happening in his heart and with his family. He still has to think about if he has it in him. Marx, always fun to talk to you on this subject. Thanks very much. As mark said one of issues excepted to come up on tomorrows debate will be the on going investigation into the benghazi attack. Hillary clinton swirling at the controversy of the attack. Now shes getting a report on the source. Nbcs Andrea Mitchell has the latest. Reporter those are the latest charges on the republican led benghazi investigation by a republican staff member who was fired. Increased scrutiny this morning as a Congressional Committee investigating bengh benghazi. Air force major bradley. This has become a partisan investigation. He was fired in june and says he was forced out because he resisted pressure to target clinton. As i stated, Hillary Clinton has a lot of explaining to do. We do not need to shift resources. Its a damn lie. Thats not a word i often use. In an interview, tray denies the claim saying he was fired for poor informans. He was a lousy employee. He mishandled classified information and wouldnt do what his supervisors instructed him to do. He says he plans to file a lawsuit charging that the committees leadership was not interested in revealing the truth about the benghazi attacks but rather they spended to use the select committee for their partys political feigliolitica takes leads for several weeks. That would violate a federal law. It would be a lifeline for Hillary Clinton as she prepares for tomorrow nights first democratic debate. The Clinton Campaign calls the new charges explosive. They further credit the Benghazi Administration which was under fire suggesting that it was set up to take down clinton. Matt and hoda. Thank you so much for that. Great time of year for the sports fans. Of course, the hockey season getting underway. You have football in high gear and the baseball playoffs. A lot of people talking about a controversial play that ended up costing the new york mets their short stop. He slid wide of the base and taking his legs out from under him. Several mets players said the play was dirty and the replay clearly shows utley did not start his slide until he was almost past second base. Hell miss the rest of the playoffs. Utley apologized and said he was trying to break up the play and not hurt anyone. The dodgers went on to win the game. Late sunday Night Major League Baseball announced utley will be suspended for his illegal slide for the next two games of the best of five series which is by the way tied at a game of piece. There is a question some are asking. Sometimes when Something Like this happens there is retribution from another team. You have to wonder. For the mets tonight matt harvey whose an emotional pitcher and the question is, is he going to throw high and tight . Do they do that . Yeah. But the risks there. If harvey throws a questionable pitch, will he get ejected . If you look at the slide, he was out of bounds, late slide. The part of him hitting when his back was turned, i think he starts his slide before he sees him spin around. What do you think the two games is fair . Its dangerous play. Think about football. Youre not allowed to take out a catcher any longer. To break up the double play nhe iran. The Washington Post reporter has been convicted after an espionage trial that ended two months ago. All right. Maybe one isnt the loneliest number after all. Some of us here have talked in the past about whether we like to eat out alone. I do sometimes. Show of hands . I love it. I love it. Traveling or at home . Out and at home. Occasionally i go out to dinner alone. Ill go to a movie alone. Im perfectly happy sitting in a theater with popcorn. Not really what we were talking about. Back to me. We were talking about restaurants here for a second. All right. If you go out to eat by yourself, sometimes you get this kind of reaction. Hey. Id like to have some dinner, please. Great. Is your wife going to meet you . No. Your girlfriend . I dont have a girlfriend. Youre just by yourself . Yeah. Okay. Just one. All right. Heres your wine list, menu, come on. That was taken from forgetting sarah marshal. If you like to go to movies alone, sometimes they react this way. The stigma around eating alone is stating the website open table says reservations for eat ago lone have soared 62 in the last two years alone. Why do you think that is . Maybe more people are signing up for open tables. I dont recall them giving you the one option like person of one. I think i always book for two. Theyll sit you at the bar. All right. So were lovely and depressed. Lets talk about the act of kindness going viral this morning. It was a photo taken on a bus in can d. A. The m canada. The man on the right is robert. He was overwhelmed by the commotion on the bus. So he asked a stranger next to him if he could hold his hand. The stranger named godfried on the left, at first thought he was being frank, he just realized that robert needed comfort. He held roberts hand during the 30minute bus ride. The photo now up to more than 45,000 likes on facebook. I got misty. That teared me up. I like. That i think its great. So often if were on planes or buses or subway or whatever, we try to go in our own little space and we ignore everybody around us. Its a nice moment where someone takes time to make somebody feel good. Beautiful. Beautiful. All right. Now to the Haunted House photos that will make you scream with laughter. Every year the house goes viral. The house wont tell us what the people are looking at. The funniest photos is where the guys push the women. Right there. By the way, you learn, you learn about how someone reacts in a Haunted House. We went to a Haunted House last year, myself, natalie, al, willie. Willie shoved natalie into the death of some gouls hands. You remember we have yeah, we were hanging on to each other for dear life. And he shoved us. I remember that. Anyway. It was a Haunted House. I love a good Haunted House. All right, kanye west reality star . And piggyback and lets go to pop start. American idol has turned out some good stars, so a newcomer comes along and perhaps he can be a big star. His name, kanye west. Yes. That kanye. He auditioned for judges Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick jr. With his hit song gold digger. You can see Jennifer Lopez watching the performance. There is no surprise that he won the ticket to hollywood. The stunt is for the upcoming final season. Treely trying to go big. Also kanye west spending time at a fundraiser for president obama where the president said if you run for office your nickname would be peasy. Next up, he is shutting down body shamers. This photo went viral revealing what some were calling vins surprising dad bod. But then wanted to prove hes anything else. He doesnt have a dad bod, he has a smoking bod. He posted this to his Instagram Account showing shizhis abs. He said we focus a lot on body shaming. Its wrong for people to do that. I dont mind a dad bod. If it is a dad bod, its my bod. I earned it. Yep. Finally, how do you get around town with your friends . If youre jennifer lawrence, you get a piggyback ride. She gave aziz a lift as they headed out on the s l after party for amy schumer. Jennifer did this in heels. In heels. And that crop top. That is your pop start. Now hoda, can you do it . Pick up matt. Thats a bad idea. You know i would do it if it was my show. I feel like there are rules here. Yeah. It would be a lot harder than. That thank you, we appreciate it. Dylan has a check of the weather. Yes. And we dont have a whole lot going on the weather department. You really have to hundred for rain. We have a little in north dakota and a couple in the outer banks of south carolina. Elsewhere, were looking at this really warm temperatures. Were going to out well above now temperatures are heading near 60 degrees under all of that sunshine. Temperatures warming up quickly and headed into the 80s and even 90s in parts of the bay area. While San Francisco stays up to 78 degrees and will be 88 degrees in the north bay. East bay, 80. Trivalley, 93. In the peninsula, 80 and 88 degrees today in the south bay. Heading into tomorrow, more of this warm weather but cooling off the rest of the week. And thats your latest forecast. Matt . Screen legend Robert Redford, no straufrpg torte newsroom. Well known for his role playing bob woodward in all the president s men. He heads back to the News Business this time taking on the roll of former cbs news anchor dan rather in a new film truth. Take a look. Dan rather. General. Sir. Thank you for doing this. Lets start from the beginning. Robert redford, welcome back. Good to see you. Good to see you. This is based on a story that made National Headlines in 2004. A lot of peoples reputations were tarnished. A lot of people lost their job. Were you following it closely at the time it was happening . No. I was just vaguely aware of it. In 2004, i was busy. I was filming. I was vaguely aware of it. I knew there was a story there. But the basics of it, dan rather and 60 minutes did a piece on george w. Bush and his National Guard service. It was called into question when the documents that were based on were thought to be forgeries. Did you have a viewpoint once you started reading up on it going into making the project . No. I mean, that research was up to other people. But i think what was interesting about it is that the whole thing unraveled over what was a small technicality at that time. It was blown into major thing. And the bigger story was the story that dan and mary who were working on about the air National Guard. And suddenly that got pushed away and a small glitch became a scandal. Do you want people to walk out of the theater with Big Questions in their mind about i assume they didnt walk out of the theater. They just stay there and watch it over and over again . Do you want them to ask bigger questions about journalism and political coverage and things . That would be my hope. I would hope that whatever the film does, it would raise a question that has people pay more attention to journalism. And the value of journalism. I think its so important. I always have. I look at the work ive done. Value of journalism and how journalism sometimes, when politics and politics gets to truth that, is tricky. Journalism is so key, so important for our knowledge and our wellbeing. So im big on journalism and keeping it alive. Was it awkward or difficult to play such an iconic figure, dan rather is known to so many people in this country. It is tricky. It is tricky because i had the difficult task of playing somebody that everybody was familiar with. They saw him nightly. They didnt see me nightly. So, therefore, had this thing happened maybe in 2013, i wouldnt have touched it. The flakt is enough time so he was off the air for a long enough time. And my job was to be careful not to chasaricature him but fi the essence of him. It is the essenhe iessence of dt caricaturing him. Did you always assume great juicy roles would continue to flow in your direction or you are surprised that youre getting the opportunities . Im pleasantly surprised. You know, you dont know of anything there is no such thing as continuity if youre an actor. You cant imagine continuity. You dont know what the next day is going to be. Sometimes it brings a crash. So you dont know what to expect. You xwust hojust hope. You just hope when you do it, you do it again. More often than not with you, it does. Great to see you. Nice to see you. Welcome back. Good to see you. Lets go outside. Matt, the crowd is getting pumped up out here. Theyve been sharing fan photos using the selenatoday. We got them here on our citys fan cam. And jennifer is with the city. Shes here to help kick off the partnership. Good to see you. Thank you. Were thrilled to be here and be part of the today show family and the incredible concert series. Did you know that phantom could be this exciting . Its super exciting. And selena here with these amazing fans, yay do you have your dancing shoes . Okay. Here we go. I got a surprise. All right. Here we go. One, two, three, selena. Selena and hoda oh, my gosh. Wait a minute. Are you ready for this . Selena has a face she wants. Im. Anim a follow up this morning. Topvo southwest says things are returning to normal after a computer glitch caused massive backups and delays. Southwest things are returning to normal after a computer glitch caused massive backups and delays. At some airports yesterday travelers were at a standstill in some cases waiting four hours just to check their bags. The airline says some additional work must still be done to get things done completely smoothed out. But another big backlog is not expected to materialize. Travelers who are flying today are still being advised to arrive at the airport two hours early. And you should also still try to bring a printed boarding pass. I want to check the morning commute. Maybe youre not traveling by air but by roadway. We have a smooth pleasant easy drive here for 101. Let me show you the overall south bay commute. Its really thinning itself out. Early for a monday morning. This is 87, 17 toward 880 but nothing really dramatic right now. Its good stuff. A stall right here. 680 just off of 237 does cause a backup. Were looking at a slower drive for the peninsula, 101, a crash cleared. Debris south of 280. No problems across the span. But 101 slow from 280. Back to you. Thanks for the update. Well be back with another local news update for you in half an hour. Have a great morning. Were back now. 8 30 on a monday morning. Its the 12th day of october. Weve been practicing. You ready in the front . Ready . On three. One, two, three. See what you started. The entire song. By the way, she has been tackling some health issues, she has been a busy woman these last weeks. Also here this morning a very strong woman, gabriel le union, plays a hot mess on the popular show being mary dane. Lot to get to, lets get a check of the weather from dylan who is in for al. Its warmed up in the last half hour unless its the dancing. Whatever its getting warmer here. Were looking at highs to top out in mid70s today. Its ahead of this cold front that is going to trigger a couple of scattered showers and storms, especially western kentucky and tennessee. This cold front is cooling things off through the northern plains, went from 97 degrees in fargo yesterday down to highs only in the 50s, barely hitting 60. In the southwest its hot today, stays hot tomorrow though temperatures cool off. In the northeast well see the cold front trigger showers especially across new england and then thats it with the warm temperatures. Its going to start cooling off and stay much cooler and more falllike into the upcomi good morning. Im meteorologist kari hall. Near 60 degrees across most of the bay. Our temperatures will continue to warm up quickly. Were heading to 80 degrees in the peninsula and east bay and south bay today, expect a high of 88 degrees. The trivalley will be up to 93 today. So feeling very toasty in many spots especially inland. While San Francisco stays up to 78 and 88 degrees in the north bay. More of this sunshine and warm weather headed into tomorrow. Thanks so much. Gabriel union hit of the show its called being mary jane. She plays a news anchor struggle to piece her life together after the devastating car accident in last seasons finale. Good morning. Good morning. Im going to start saying when i walked in i said buzzfeed was right. They said you have not aged and they did these side by sides when you were 26, how old are you now . Ill be 43 in a couple of weeks. Come on. Is there any secret sauce or is that good living . Ive been hard on my body. I have a good time. You do. I have a good time. Oily skin, you know. Like when youre a teen you hate it. Then when you get older. Its embalming fluid. Your show being mary jane you described your character as a hot mess. Is she continuing, is this hot mess season 3 . Nothing changed. In one and two she had her career to fall back on or a man or her friends. And we pick up where shes had this catastrophic car accident, caused by overhearing her best friend and the love of her life talking about them hooking up. Stop it. Yeah. So she doesnt you know, like after the car accident she cant work, she doesnt have her best friend and doesnt have her man. When you think about your real life, its so contrast that, you are newly married for a year to dwin wade. Can i ask a question . What is that like . Being married to a younger hot man . Kind of how you made it sound. Actually. Like hot, delicious. It doesnt get old. Every day, he gets out of bed and yes. You look as good going as he does coming. Its not a bad gig. How was the first year of marriage . Was it what you expected . Some people look at marriage as like the end of freedom and for some reason especially my husband has sort of looked at it as the freedom to be the man he wanted to be. And ive had to get used to him being so freakishly happy. Its been good, like hes hes happy and were comfortable and we really enjoy each other in a way thats probably not very healthy for us. You know what i love. I love a lot about you but one of the things you did, you shared something that was painful. I think a lot of women saw that and nodded. You talked about how ibf was a struggle. Trying to have biological children and it was something that wasnt working out. Tell us a little bit if you wouldnt mind about what that was like. That was not exactly talking about ibf but more of in general. And and most of my friends who have done ivf arent in their 40s, in their 20s and 30s. To try to talk about to shed light on fertility is an issue, period. And having a career is not the price that you pay for any ill, and i think tv shows and film kind of make the fridge it single focused career woman that her career is the root of all of the problems in her life. Cant find a man, its the career. Marriage falls apart, the career. And thats not the case. And just to show my support and to let people know that it just gets better with age and having a career is an amazing thing if you choose to have one. And if you happen to have issues with fertility as you have gotten older and happen to have a career all is not lost. There are so many there is so much hope and options and youre not alone. You are so nice and sweet, smart and everything. Im looking at you. I know youre telling me important things, part of me watching going wow. Thank you so much. Good luck with being mary jane. It begins, october 20th at 9 00 p. M. On bet. Up next selena gomez live in concert. Ladies and gentlemen, he is sleena gomez. I just want to lie in my bed and while youre working out, feel it burn. Ill think of you when im working out. Today is another good day to sit on the couch. Four baseball games. Fourgames. Off the one everybody is still talking about was saturday night game two of the National League Division Series out in l. A. Mets and dodgers. Did you play . His chas dodgers, the sliding in. They call this breaking up the double play in baseball. This is a take out slide. Breaking the leg of mets shortstop rubin tejada. He had his back turned in the play and comes down and breaks his leg. Utley has been suspended. Hell not play in games three or four. Game three is tonight in new york city. He will appeal the suspension. That i make some kind of decision today. The mets lost the game by the way, series tied 11. Some people think that was over the line. You see takeout slides all the time. That went a step further. As i said ea lookedit more like a tackle. It is brutal. So will Major League Baseball review this and make changes . Thats ttoday, debate willie. Yeah, i think they have. To you have to protect the second baseman or shortstop who is executing the double play. You have the base. Ear you cant go out of your way to take the guy out. But again, you see those all the time. And i think if tejada didnt break his leg, this wouldnt have been much. Zbh exa z exactly. Hard to see that video. Thats from me. My generation. That is the one. All right. You knowwhat . S this weekend president obama was hanging out on the west coast, San Francisco. He had a fundraiser. Kanye west apparently was the headliner. And you know as we all know kanye wants to be our next or wants to be president. We dontline. Exactly time it could be 2020. We dont know. But we do know that hes very serious app daytly about one giving up his fashion career and music career to become the nations leader. Well pre ident obama gave some advi to candidatebe kanye west over the weekend. But in case kanye is serious about this pea y thing, i do have advice for him. There is some stuff that i picked up on the way. Firsall, you got to spend a lot of time dealing with some strange characters who behave like theyre on a reality tv show. You got to be cool with that. Do you r ally think that this country is going to elect a black guy from the south side of chicago with a funny name to be president of the United States . That is crazy. Thats cra. Thats cra. Line. Kanyes thats cra. And you know, speaking of cra, actu kanye forree with once on something. The whole app purchase thing for kids, kanye went on a rant this weekend toaddition performing. Went on a twitter rant about these ga es geared towards children that encourage your kid to purchase all kinds of things. Sow said in one of them, we give the ipad to our child and every five minutes theres a new purchase. If a game is made for a 2yearold, just allow them to have fun. Give the parent a break. Well some people pointed out that kim ks game has been criticized, the app made her 100 million is filled ith the little underground purchases for kids. There was a mom, a writer i think fo the New York Post who rant about own it. But i have to say this is why i agree. I dont know if we can get this shot. I told you about this the other day. Somehow my phone is linked to my niecapp purchases. I now have three pages of apps. How many puppy games do you need . This is all giana halls apps. Every page. There is a puppy. You can design his clothes. Can you pretend to be a vet. Im like why is she buying . So my little pony, for example, its a great game. But if you get the free one, but if you get a free app, a lot of thes next o the level, you have to purchase it. With our kids, mind craft o even beyond mind craft they have the other games in order to get not just the level but to get more cha buyers, you have to gems. Yeah. Dont you have to put in a code . You do. We do. And my kids know the rule is you have ask. But the thing is, thats why i dont know what i did with my phone. She doesnt know the code unless shes a genius and needs to create this invention. But shes 10. She has your code. You know what . Im calling her. Shes out of school right now. If she k ows my code they know your code. Believe me. I love that two parents are, no, code. Knows the my kids know all of the pass words and codes for every device in the house. I went ht i had back and picked the code it was listed as one of the strongest things. Time to change the code. Im telling you, these kids are jason borne. You think you have the code and george i looking around the corn how you type it and remember it. They probably already put their thumb print into the phone. Beenive bamboozled. Yeah. Time to change the code. Im changing my code and calling that kid. We always talk about on the show on Work Life Balance and can women have it all . And now the question, obviously, can men have it all as well . An interesting article in the atlantic magazine. It is by the husband of the busi esswoman an marie slaughter. You may recall that she wrote an arti couple years ago where she made headlines where she talked about why women still cant have it all. That article went viral. So he writes an article as well that is called why i put my wifes career first. Which brings up the whole question of, you know, he makes the point that obviously for husbands have to s you recognize that your womans career, perhaps, is more the money maker and you have to be able to them llowd to pursue their endeavors. Theyre more equal as coparents. He m interesting observations in the article. He says that, you kno that women have also need the same support that men have had all along the same way that and also that im trying to find where he wrote. He says, sometimes at cocktail parties or dinner parties, its interesting. He writes the very idea of men as lead parents still makes many people uncomfortable at a deep and often subconscious level. Nothing quiets the Dinner Party Conversation more quickly than a chance mention of the fact that my wife outearns me. So whileknow, as a society, i think we said we should all be coparents, equal coparents. There is still unfo theately judgment that people seem to make. We got better. But just any dad that is the dad on the playground with the moms, ther ais definitely stigma to it. I think were doing a lot better. But as the society and the culture does better with putting women in high places, this is how its going to be. The women are going to be in charge in a lot of cases. I thi just havewe this judgment society when it comes to me, for example, being the single woman with no children. You know, suddenly kristina was making more cash than you, you would walk in, you know, it seems like whatever lane youre in, there is always someone else in the other car driving. Right. There always has to be sort of a balance play. Somebodys going to have to is being fis a little bit more. I do a lot more traveling. But my h own d has his busi ess at home. So it works itself out. And hes able to do a lot of things t at i cant do, the coaching and all of that. Sometimes you go to dinner parties and people are like you and you dont feel judged. Exactly. Right. Whatever do you, support your family. Who makes more . Were going to judge you. Get out of here. Ibye. Ike, finally, some really fun video we want to show you. We love johnson,e rock especially when he busts a move. So he is doing it once again. He p video rkout dance on instagram. Take a look. Okay. Lets see. He can do any dance. I dont really regret anything. I dont have life figured out by all means. But i dont know, i have a great family. My mom a stepdad have raised me t always ive been. I dont know. You know, the energy watching those fans this morning is pointed out, there were kids that adultsly and some who slept out on the street to see you. And when you said back to them, i love you, too. That just resonated. You could hear it for blocks. When youre on tour, obviously thats your energy. But what else do you do just to keep it balanced . To keep selesaid, theu boss. I mean, touring is much different. It is way different than being on jshow. Any other i think its my show. But i dont know. You have to understand that for me, it baffles me that there are people that sleep outside for me. Because i i work, i love my job, i do what i do. I just want to give my all to those people. Now Joshua Jackson is back playing jilted exhusband on the golden globe winning series the affair. One thing that was revealed in the commercial break, willie loved watching the show without his wife. You said you and your beautiful wife don it together either. Why . I feel like it brings up a lot of awkward conversations. So its we do what you do. We watch it separately and talk about it later. I do have friends, my really close friend and his wife, they watch it together. Theyit. V they seem to be happy. Everything is going okay. Different strokes for different folks. For us, no. The cool thing in season one on this show which is amazing is that it was told from two different perspectives. And so now were getting four different perspectives in season two. People just coming to it, can you explain that . The central idea in the first show is this event happens. This affair is taking place. And you show it episode is broken into two exact pieces. You show the same day from one perspective and the other. So going into the second season, now that the affair has happened, now thats out there, now we go out and see the other spouses and see how theyre dealing inh this their life. And i think it actually i havent actually seen the second episode. I did. I did. Its riveting. You are falling apart. I think the way that nicole is deali g it with and the way that help sen dealing with it gives us much more dep nooj the story. Like what the actual reprecushions of Something Like this would be. Cole doesnt stay quite as dark a place he is when we see him in episode two. And he does find love. Evergrapples. T of thats the thing i love about our show. Instead of going for and instead of going for the high drama and over the top stuff, the story were telling is pretty small. Its about how people deal with adversity in their lives. So you see all four of the character as they just sort of try to step out into life and figure it out from here. And t the show in is so good across the board. Incredible. All right. Watch it with your spouse, with your sigwithout, other, whatever. Justit. Tch just watch it. Joshua, thank you so much. But cooling off the rest of the week. And thats your latest forecast. Guys . Thank you, dylan. Now to a new movie that poses the question, ovoking once you experience the worst thing possible, how do you go on . In th film meadowland olivia wild and luke elsen play a co ple whose child is kidnapped and it follows them through what happens as they dole with the heart wrenching aftermath. Olivia, luke, good morning, good to see you both. This is an incredibly powerful movie. A very difficult movie. A very heavy movie about a couple whose son is lost to kidnapping. And you started this movie right afte new mother. A yes. Whats going through your mind . Whats that experience like . I had been involved with the project for a couple years. We finally got finance going and moving towards shooting the movie and i found out i was pregnant and i thought oh, my god, timing. But it ended up being the greatest possible preparation for this able because i was to become a mother and then portray a mother in a really honest way. So its a blessing. And luke, what about you . What was it that drew you to the film . It is so hard. Its a difficult subject matter. Yeah. I mean i just always kind of been interested in stories like that and to me, you know, its like one of the small clips you might read in the newspaper or see on the news. And its really the back story of what happens to such a kind of personal tragedy. You wonder what happens to the people a year or two down the road that are still there and how they deal with it. And how differently people deal with it. I mean this is a story that picks up a year after this happened. And youre following how these two parents are dealing with it and totally different ways. So its intense. And its so true. We all do news and we see the headlines and we cover these stories. And then a year later when you talk to families, they say, you know, the cameras are gone. The investigation were just left to deal with each other and the pain. Exactly. Exactly. I mean we had a really incredible director who decided to tell the story in a really interesting unique way, visually its really stunning. So although very heavy subject matter, its a really thrilling movie to watch. She is such an exciting new film making voice. We felt really lucky to work for her. Thats why i love watching the film. At the risk of littoning things up a little bit here. You did an interview with conan where yo referenced sort of falling in love with your costars. Lets not get awkward. But lets get real. I was just telling her husband jason today, because last i of course started the movie, whats this it cant be that guy. And then my brother owen had done a movie with and i was like whats the story with this today show cast . Hes a great guy. I guess ill just do my job. And you started referring to her as your wife off screen, too . Yes. So flattering. You caught me off guard. Youre blushing. I pro gotd his film but i to be his boss and costar. I dont know about you, but i do much better with a female boss. No question. I like that. I have two female bosses. Thats true. Thats why im talking to you. Hard to admit to it. You should come around more often. Yeah. Thank you. Well, congratulations on the film and the baby and the new wife. Its all lovely. Thank you. So sad about jason. The truth is any of these five guys could have won, right . Were looking for, you know, men who live by the healthy lifestyle. Theyre healthy and fit and define success on their own terms and give back to the communities and they all express some sort of courage all five men are amazing men. And 20 years, ost guys put in 20 years on this job, and they want to retire with the nice pension and a good life at the end of that. And a lot of guys arent making it there. And its due to cardiac arrest. So i wanted to get the message out there. And anyone else who is into fitness to focus on that. Its been such therapy for me. You know, were faced with a lot of hard stuff on a daily basis. The things that we see. And when i get into the gym, thats just my time to focus and just go into my zone and it really helps me. Eating healthy. That is so important. You know, we lose sleep as firefighters. You know, well go 24 hours oftentimes with no sleep. So that affects your heart over the years.
