Announcer from nbc news, this is today with matt lauer and Savannah Guthrie live from studio 1a in rockefeller plaza. Good morning everyone. Welcome to today. 7 00 a. M. On the west coast on a monday. Savannahs on assignment. She will join us in a while. We start with breaking news. This morning authorities are identifying a man wanted in connection with those weekend bombings, both here in new york and in new jersey. That injured at least 29. Take a look, here is his picture. His name is ahmed khauhan raham. Said to be living in elizabeth, new jersey t town where five explosive devices were discovered near a busy train station and where police have been searching a building. We have complete coverage beginning with nbc National Correspondent miguel almaguer. Good morning to you. Reporter good morning. Police have launched a regional drag net releasing the photo and name of a person they want to question. This as several Law Enforcement sources tell nbc news they fear a terror cell may be working in this area after three explosions rocked the region, and could have easily killed someone. Considered armed and dangerous Amad Khan Rahami wanted in connection with the bombing saturday night. Hes the man seen on video near the explosion and near a Pressure Cooker that didnt designate. The 28yearold afghan native lived in elizabeth, new jersey where overnight a blast sent shock waves through the community. Police startled, the public rattled. The smell of gun fire in the air. A back pack with five devices inside suddenly exploding, hours later heavily armed fbi agents arrive at this nearby home. Officials say all part of their investigation. Back at the crime scene, the mayor says the bomb squad accidentally triggered the blast. It was not a controlled explosion that occurred when they were cutting in order to make it safe. Reporter before 9 00 p. M. Sunday investigators say two men discovered the back pack in a trash can, pipes and wires inside, a few hundred feet outside of a neighborhood bar. Police shut down the adjacent train station, suspending commuter traffic for hours, the danger to the public soon became clear. Only one of five devices exploded. Thankfully no one hurt. But the blast powerful enough to kill. The loss of life could have been tremendous. The people doing this, they have no value on human life and its really difficult to understand their rationale. Reporter shortly before the explosion, 10 miles away, investigators stopped a vehicle of interest near the verrazano bridge. Five people taken in for questioning in connection to the terror investigation. No charges filed yet. The blast in new jersey comes after a powerful explosion in manhattan injuring 29 saturday night. Earlier saturday in seaside park, new jersey, an ied exploded along the route of a charity race before it got under way. This morning, several Law Enforcement officials tell nbc news they are concerned an active terror cell with multiple players could now be at work in new york and new jersey. Three explosions over the last 48 hours, and now a massive manhunt for this man. Its believe that rahami lived in the residence where the fbi is now searching, its only a mile from where we are from where the bomb was detonated earlier. Investigators have not said if they have a lead on the mans whereabouts and have not said what the connection may be to those five individuals pulled over and then questioned by investigators. Matt. Miguel almaguer, thank you. I want to turn to nbcs justice kors spoken debt Pete Williams talking to sources all morning long. Lets start where miguel ended off. Do they know if there is more of a connection between the five people, have they find this guy . Reporter five people questioned are members of his family im told that the questioning is about over now so he is the key to this, and youre right, matt, this thing moved so fast and im told there were three reasons that led them to him. First of all, two of the three devices that were planted did not go off. The cell phones were attached to them, they had numbers that were dialed, that was a piece of evidence and secondly im told a fingerprint was found on one of those unexploded devices that led to rahami and the third is surveillance vooxt Officials Say he is seen on Surveillance Video at both the bombing scenes youre looking at stills that the new Jersey State Police say were taken from the Surveillance Video in new york that showed him, this is the earlier picture of him that has the hair and the beard, they put out two other still pictures, but this is from the Surveillance Video. So those three things together, thefingerprint, the surveillance, and that explains all of this activity. Let me stop there because you mention the fingerprint. Is he someone who was previously known to Law Enforcement, pete . Reporter no. But because he came to the United States his fingerprint would be on file. He is born in afghanistan so they would have his fingerprint from that. But im told he was not really on any kind of terror watch list. I dont know exactly what the encounter was, the fbi had some peripheral knowledge of him but he was never considered not under surveillance, he was not on any kind of a watch list. All right. Pete, thank you very much. Richard engel is chief foreign correspondent. Sean henry is the former assistant director of the fbi now president of crowd strike. Good morning to both of you. Sean, let me start with you. Here we go, these undetonated devices create a wealth of opportunity and evidence for Law Enforcement. What do we know, what do you think about the sophistication of the devices and of the suspect or the bomber . Thats right, matt. The fact that those devices werent exploded is a treasuretrove for Law Enforcement. It will generate a lot of investigative leads. The fbi has a tdak which is a multinational or multijurisdictional center, fbi, atf, department of defense, they looked at over 100,000 ieds over the last 12 years and collected a lot of signatures so they are able to look at the type of components that made up those devices, look at the triggering devices, also be able to exploit as pete said if there are finger precipitates, dna. I think the fact that they were able to identify rahami is quickly it was a key piece of evidence in the ability to look at this to put out this all point bulletin. Look at the Bigger Picture for me, though, the fact there are four different forensic scenes, crime scenes, does that lead investigators in the direction that this one suspect or a one suspect acted alone as a lone wolf, or there is a larger cell at work . I think the investigation is going to bear that out. I think that they probably will be looking for multiple subjects. Thats not clear at this moment. But i can tell you that getting rahami is key to them because he is the link if in fact there are others out there, of course one of the most important pieces here is being pro active to try and disrupt any potential future acts. The fact he is his name is ot there, his picture is out there, Police Officers are looking for him, thats somewhat disruptive, perhaps keeping him away from his cell. I know they execute add search warrant on his home in elizabeth, new jersey. Didnt find bomb making equipment there. We dont know where that might be if there are other locations he may have been at. Richard, let me turn to you. This man hunt is early but we dont know how long he has had in terms of a head start. Its 48 hours to release his name but he could have been on the run for much of that time. He has been operating, according to the officials, believing that hes the main suspect. It doesnt mean he is still here. To answer the question you raised earlier when you compare this incident to brussels or paris or some of the other home grown or directed terrorist attacks, this seems quite on an amateur scale. Several of these bombs didnt work. They missed their target. The one that blew up in new york didnt succeed in killing any one. Still injured 29 people but its a quite amateur attempt to carry out a complex attack. Talk about the timing, though. These bombs were found some exploded, others did not, on the weekend before dignitaries from around the world arrive here in new york for the meeting for the United Nations. Is this designed in your opinion to send a specific message at a specific time . Hard to know. On one level its a very good time to carry out an attack because there is so much attention, so much security. On another side you could say its a disastrous time because there is so much extra security. I heard the bomb that went off on 23rd street. I happened to be two blocks away. In minutes there were police, fire departments, National Guard, fbi on the scene. In minutes. So, if you want to grab attention, its probably a good time. If you are actually trying to carry out an attack that has a big effect, its a very time when there is a lot of reinforcement. These five pipe bombs in a back pack in a trash can near what would be a busy train station, do you get the sense that that was the intended target, or that these were dumped there by a suspect who simply had to drop and run . You know, it sounds like that may be the latter. Of course, were not going to know. I dont know there were triggering or timing devices found there. The explosion that occurred was based on the robot trying to disable that device. But the investigation, talking to people in that general area, this is going to be another few days. Try and determine who in fact is involved, what their specific motivations are. Transportation we know is always considered a target. And there has been increased patrols, Police Presence at amtrak and subway stations around the country. Thats an important Critical Infrastructure and we know terrorists attempt to target those. Sean, quickly, richard, we hear see something, say something. That worked in a couple occasions. And on a massive scale. Its apb has been put out to every cell phone in the new york area. Everyones looking for him now, his picture. I think if he is detained, based on previous incidents like these around the world, generally the suspects are detained he will have a lot of the answers. Richard engel, thanks. Sean, as well. In the wake of all of this both president ial candidates are speaking out about National Security with the election 50 days away. So here is the state of the race right now. Hillary clinton is holding a News Conference right now, before heading to philadelphia where shell address young voters at temple university. Shell meet with several World Leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, that takes place here in new york, including the president of egypt, don at trump planning to sit down with the ejimtion leader today. First he will hold a rally in florida, his third visit to that state in recent weeks. Peter alexander is at trump tower down the road from us. Good morning to you. Reporter good morning. 50 days until the election, exactly one week until the first debate. And responses over the course of the weekend offering a real time point and Counter Point between the candidates. Hillary clinton and donald trump demonstrating striking differences on style and strategies on issues of National Security. After the explosions the sharp contrast from the candidates responses. Before i got off the plane a bomb went off in new york. Reporter donald trump quick to react even before new York City Police identified what happened. Nobody knows exactly whats going on but boy, we are living in a time we better get very tough, folks. Reporter later turning heads with the tone of his tweet expressing warmest regards, best wishes and condolences to the bombing victims and their families. Hillary clintons initial response more measured. I think its always wiser to wait until you have information before making conclusions. Reporter later condemning the apparent terrorist attacks urging americans to choose resolve over fear. The nation remains bitterly divided. More people believe clinton would make a better commander in chief but trump is more trusted on terror. He is fending off criticism from another leading republican, robert gates, the former defense secretary under president s obama and bush. Gates calling on clinton to address her trustworthiness deficit but trump beyond repair and unfit to be commander in chief. And clown robert gates. Believe me i am so much better at what hes doing than he is you wont even believe it. Reporter as trump tries to bury five years of birtherism, his campaign facing a fallout of a claim viewed as racist. Hownd when did donald trump conclude that the president was born in the United States . Youll have to ask him that. Thats a perm decision. Reporter with concerns about lagging enthusiasm for clinton among democrats president obama calling on africanamericans to turn up the heat. I will consider it a personal insult, an insult to my legacy if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election. You want to give me a good send off, go vote. Reporter right now we want to show you a live picture, this is former secretary of state Hillary Clinton before boarding a plane. She told reporters the threat is real and so is our resolve adding im the only candidate who has been part of the hard decisions to take terrorists off the battlefield. Earlier donald trump said that the United States should seriously consider racial profiling to stop terrorism. He said he doesnt like the concept, but said it might be necessary. Matt. Peter alexander, thank you. Another big story were following, a major pipe line leak in alabama, fueling a spike in gas prices across the east coast and the south. Temperatures starting the day in the 60s for most of the bay area. 62 in the trivalley. 63 in San Francisco. Weve got clear skies across the entire bay area this morning. That will lead to another warm day. Temperatures not going to come down much. 97 is where we are headed today. 85 for the peninsula. 92 for the south bay. Even in San Francisco after yesterday, reaching back into the 80s. Another warm day as temperatures climb back to the mid 70s today. Sevenday forecast does show temperatures cool off tomorrow. Thats good news. Temperatures remain cool at least as we get into the first day of fall by thursday. Back to the mid 60s in San Francisco. Today will be warm with lots of sunshine. Remember that spf. Grab an extra bottle of water. Mike has the day off. Traffic is starting to build across the south bay. Heavier traffic on 101 northbound approaching 87. And 880 southbound at the 92 connection with the san mateo bridge. Thank you very much. That will do it for us. Were back now. 7 30 on a monday morning. September 19th, 2016. A morning where a massive manhunt is under way in the new york area for this man here, he is 28yearold ahmad rahami, sought in connection with bombings in new york and new jersey over the last 48 hours. We know that he is a naturalized u. S. Citizen, his last known address in elizabeth, new jersey, that address was searched by agents this morning. We want to get back to nbc justice correspondent Pete Williams. Lets walk people through who may be joining us now, how did they come up with this guy as a suspect . Right. They have been hunting for him about 14 hours now and decided to make his name public a short time ago to get help finding him. They say that he can be seen in Surveillance Video from both the new york city locations where bombs were planted saturday night. In fact, this is a still frame from the Surveillance Video released by the new Jersey State Police just a short time ago. But another key piece of evidence they tell us this morning was a fingerprint found on one of the unexploded bombs, and they say other Key Information came from the cell phones that were found attached to two of the unexploded devices. So clearly, the bomber thought that everything would be blown up, the cell phones destroyed, but two of them did not go off. They have been able to exploit that. So, the family home was searched overnight in new jersey, members of his family were stopped and questioned, were told thats over. And police are now on the lookout for his car, 2003 blue honda civic with new jersey plates. And prior to this, pete, had he come to the attention of Law Enforcement in any way . Reporter in some minor way im told. Im not sure of the details but he was not on any kind of watch list. As for whether others were involved, Officials Say they believe he was the only one involved in the bombings but they are now trying to figure out whether he had help. And obviously in talking to his five family members who were stopped in that car on the verrazano bridge they would be asking those family members about any known associates that he would have. Reporter yes. The other question of course is whether this was directed or inspired by isis, whether there is an overseas connection and a senior official tells me they are a long way from knowing the answers to those questions. All right. Pete williams, as always, thank you. Tom costello is following the investigation and concerns over how easy it is to make these kinds of bombs. Tom, go morning to you. Reporter good morning. So were standing in the exact spot where that unexploded home made bomb was discovered and the surveillance, video, captured rahami in this area. So what is really of interest here to many bomb experts there does seem to be similarities in design, at least to the Boston Marathon bombing, 3 1 2 years ago. Overnight another explosion in new jersey. After a police robot examined a back pack that appeared to contain pipe bombs left near a train station. The incident coming as investigators are looking into similarities between the weekends bombings and attempted bombings in new jersey and new york. Perhaps the best clues left right in the middle of the street saturday night, an unexploded home made Pressure Cooker bomb with an Old Fashioned flip phone attached to the top. Investigators are closely examining video of someone rolling it down the street in a suit case before walking away. Likely the same type of bomb that went off a few blocks away injuring 29. And another that went off in a trash can in new jersey. All three bearing similarities to the Pressure Cooker bombs that went off at the Boston Marathon on 2013, killing three and injuring 264. For the nypd, the unexploded bomb could mean the bomber or bombers have left behind a gold mine of evidence. Fingerprints, wires, soldering, the phones and the numbers dialed and received. I want to be trying to track the bomb components back to the purchase place to where the cell phones were bought or the bomb components or any of the explosive materials. Track it back as fast as i can. The bombers are loose. Reporter the bomb that did go off shattered windows and fired shrapnel at cars and people passing by. One woman struck in the arm, another bleeding heavily. We will find whoever did this or whatever group did this, and they will be brought to justice. Reporter explosives experts say the bombs design is similar to the instructions al qaeda provides wouldbe terrorists in its magazine. New york officials stress so far there is no known link to international terrorism. This morning with World Leaders gathering in new york for the u. N. General assembly, the city is waking up under an even tighter security blanket, more than 1,000 extra officers and National Guard troops on duty. Coming here its pretty scary. Nerveracking. You got to go about your business so what you going to do. Reporter even with the fbi questioning five people this morning after authorities stopped a vehicle of interest crossing a bridge heading into new york, the concern at least one bomber and maybe more are still on the loose. Bomber is not experienced, with early in their bomb career but they have a lot of tee sire to kill but havent been able to kill as of yet. Reporter so the fact that rahami allegedly may have constructed these bombs, yet at least two failed to detonate, is critical in them being able to gather the information and link those to the suspect. They took the bomb discovered here as well as the fragments of the other pieces of bomb, they had to detonate the one that was here, they took everything to virginia, the fbi lab in quantico to try to gather as much information as they can. Matt, back to you. Tom for us in new york. Let us put that picture up. This is the suspect, Ahmad Khan Rahami. The fbi wants to find this man, considered armed and dangerous. If you recognize nim or you see him, do not approach him yourself. Call your local Law Enforcement or the fbi. Lets give al a kpans to give us a check of the weather. If you are heading east, weve got a lot of wet weather along the Eastern School board so airport delays at laguardia, jfk, washington, d. C. , and philadelphia. So keep that in mind as you travel. As you look out west, weve got some moisture coming up from hurricane paine. Things looking pretty high and dry out west. In fact, the only real showers were going to look at today, cool in seattle, 65 degrees, everyone else temperatures at or above normal. Thats going to be the case for a good portion of this week until the latter part of the week. Temperatures will calm down. But as we also look at today, you can see those showers in the Pacific Northwest, sunny and hot through texas. Some morning fog, Southern California that will burn off and then plenty of sunshine. Heres the big problem along the eastern seaboard. Heavy rain from new england all the way down into the mid atlantic states. Lets look at the week ahead. Again, that wet weather along the eastern seaboard starting off for today. Weve got wet weather in the Pacific Northwest, as we move into the midweek period more wet weather, heavier showers and thunderstorms around the plains, and the upper midwest, sunshine in the northeast. A little on the wet side as the moisture from paine continues to make its way and continues to be felt and look toward the end of the week, a lot of heavy showers and thunderstorms through the Northern Plains, wet weather through the four corners. Along the west coast gorgeous weather, showers in Northern New England and the southeast, and you can see temperatures stay warm right into the midw good monday morning to you. Anthony slaughter here. After a warm weekend, we are expecting another warm day today. Temperatures starting off in the 60s. 63 in San Francisco. 62 in the trivalley. 60 in the south bay. Later we will see temperatures back into the 70s for San Francisco. Everywhere else will see 80s and 90s. 97 for the trivalley. Temperatures cool off for tomorrow into the next couple of days. Thats your latest weather. Thank you. Con amal clooney que nos habla interview with amal clooney as she reveals her new mission targeting the leaders of isis. You dont just learn how to drive. We are eback now with an nbc news exclusive, human rights lawyer amal clooney, speaking out about her deeply personal mission against the leaders of isis. Nbcs Senior Investigative correspondent Cynthia Mcfadden sat down with her. Good morning. Weve spent the last ten days following the oxfordeducated amal clooney from the refugee camps in greece to a german shelter, to here in new york and the u. N. Headquarters as she makes the legal case to World Leaders and diplomats for taking isis to court for genocide. Reporter they may not look like warriors, but they are. Amal clooney and her client, nadia, an iraqi farm girl until isis devastated her life and thousands of others. I cant imagine anything worse being done by one human to another. Reporter together, they are taking on isis. Urging the u. N. To investigate and ultimately try isis commanders for genocide. You made a very powerful speech at the uni. Not ve not very diplomatic. I wish i could say i was proud to be here. But im not. I did feel a sense of outrage. Im ashamed as a human being that we ignore their cries for help. Its been harrowing to hear the testimony of girls as young as 11 and 12 talk about whats happened to them. Still we havent been able to do anything about it. There are those who would say isis doesnt need to be brought to court. Isis needs to be bombed out of existen existence. Its not enough. You cant kill an idea that way. I think one of the ways to take action against that is to expose their brutality and their corruption and partly you can do that through trials. Reporter in the refugee camps in greece, survivors tell them how much they want to confront their isis abusers and give their testimony. Nadia has become their voice. They all said things like, she is the future, she is our only hope. Reporter nadia is a yazidi, a religious minority from iraq. A u. N. Report says isis has killed more than 5,000 yazidis and 3,200 are still captive. Translator they killed all the men in the village. Six of my brothers. My mother was also killed. We didnt even get a chance to say goodbye. Reporter nadia herself was sold as a sex slave to an isis commander. She has said they abused me to a time until i fell unconscious. She was burnt with cigarettes. She just endured the most brutal acts known to humanity. We know that even in the last few days youve received new threats from isis. Translator yes. I put my own life at risk but i dont have a life without giving hope to other victims. You put your life at risk as well. I dont think anyone can feel theyre being courageous compared to what nadia is doing. It is no joke, this is isis, and they have sent her really specific threats saying well get you back. This is a direct quote. Well do everything to you. And what about you . How did you make this decision . She made me make the decision because i met her and i just thought i cant walk away from this. You brought her home, i understand. Yes. We sat on the floor for a couple of hours and just spoke about it. And from then on you knew you were going to do this. Yeah. No matter the price. Its not just you. It is your family. You know, this is something i discuss with my husband before i would take on Something Like this. We did discuss it and we are aware of some of the risks involved, of course. He met nadia, too. I think he was moved for the same reasons. He understood, this is my work. Reporter she hopes that nadias being named by a goodwill ambassador by the u. N. , a turning point. Nadias our mother, shes our sister, shes our voice, shes our hope. It is a great responsibility. But i think what shes doing is amazing. In her new role, nadia has been asked to address the u. N. s General Assembly today. Meanwhile, clooney tells me that while she is usually usually hard case to prove, genocide is easy in this case because isis admits what theyre doing and they do intend to wipe out the yazidi people. Shes both of them are incredibly impressive. Takes a lot of courage to do this. It does and really shines a light on something that might otherwise not get that attention. Cynthia, thank you. First a prominent business woman in the uk has landed herself in a little bit of hot water by saying people do not want to see a tattooed arm washing their hair or in a restaurant serving them food. Its not hygienic. But those comments directly contradict the findings of a new study that suggests that tattoos can actually be an advantage in Certain Industries because they help a business convey a positive or individual image and lure in more young customers. Maybe it is location, as you said. It is location. And the kind of business. But some of the top chefs in the country have sleeve tattoos all over their arms. Exactly. Kerry sanders is here to get us started. Good morning. This is a story about losing weight and celebrities like hugh jackman, Jennifer Lopez and jimmy kimmel have all reportedly tried intermittent fasting diets, books touting the benefits have become best sellers. But are diet plans like these really realistic for the average person to follow . I tried three different versions, all with the help of today nutritionist, joy bauer, who reviewed the rules and created menus to help me stay on course. Three weeks. Photos of every meal i ate. But before we examined the rules of the intermittent fasting diets i followed, a visit with wellness expert dr. Denise edwards at the university of south florida. You dont have that much weight to lose. I love you. Reporter week one. The 5 2 diet, eating normally for five days out of the week, fasting for two days. Fewer than 600 calories. So its day one of the only 600 calories, 300 calories each meal. Reporter my diet began on a day when i joined friends at a party. Theres fried chicken. Theres more fried chicken. And i get the idea that none of this is going to qualify for 300 calories. Reporter but it wasnt just parties that posed a challenge. Well, good morning. Reporter im on the road 200 days a year. Which means lots of restaurants. The kind of things they have on the menu here are eggs benedi benedict, design your own omelet. Ham and cheese. All the sort of things that joy says i should not eat. Reporter what i could eat based on the diets criteria todays nutritionist joy bauer created a meal plan. Two hard boiled eggs, slice of tomato and a cup of berries. Later on the day on a run at the airport in charlotte gelato. I hear it yelling my name. Tacos. Tacos. I want to eat a taco. I havent had much to eat. While i havent been hangry yet, im beginning to get a little upset. This is not fun. Reporter my 300calorie meal bland broccoli and just a portion of the meat. Piece of chicken that fits in the palm of my hand. Reporter but in the first week i lost three pounds. Week two, alternate days i ate normally one day, they n fasted the next day, eating fewer than 600 calories on those days. One of those days i was covering breaking news in milwaukee. My 300 calorie meal Peanut Butter on a rice cake with a banana and a cup of plain greek yogurt. This is a special report. We have breaking news on the investigation into this weekends bombings in new york and insurgent. Here is the president. Governors cuomo and christie as well as mayor de blasio. Weve seen apparently a pipe bomb go off in new jersey, seaside park where it could have seriously injured our u. S. Marines and spectators who were there for a race, the bombing in the chelsea neighborhood injured more than two dozen people. We are extremely fortunate and grateful that nobody was killed and our prayers go out to all of those who have been injured. We want to wish them a speedy recovery. I especially want to commend all the Outstanding Police and First Responders in both new york city and new jersey for their extraordinary professionalism and their quick response, which surely prevented even more people from being hurt. And ensured people got assistance quickly. The investigation is moving rapidly, as is my practice im going to leave it to fbi and Law Enforcement to provide details. I think everybody is aware at this point there is a person of interest, who is the focus of the investigation. And the fbi can give you further details in terms of how that is proceeding. I told governors cuomo and christie and mayor de blasio that they and their teams will continue to have all federal support as they move ahead with their investigations, tracking down every lead and working to keep the people of this city and this region safe. Law enforcement is asking for the help of the community. Everybody in this region, i want to repeat what weve said before. If you see something suspicious, then you need to say something. Contact local Law Enforcement. In the meantime, i would ask that the press try to refrain from getting out ahead of the investigation. I am extraordinarily happy with the cooperation thats been taking place between the fbi and state and local Law Enforcement official. They are moving smartly on this investigati investigation. It does not help if false reports or incomplete information is out there. Try to as much as possible stick to what our investigators say because they actually know what they are talking about. Meanwhile, i know that the United Nations meetings here every year already create an additional workload for new york, but given the u. N. Meetings we also have a particularly high level of federal resources here to help as needed. We want to make sure everybody is working together seamlessly to get to the bottom of what happened, to find those responsible and make sure justice is done. Meanwhile, while all this is going on in new york and new jersey, were also focused on the stabbing attack at the Shopping Mall in minnesota. At this point we see no connection between that incident and what happened in new york and new jersey. Our attention there is on the people injured. We are very grateful that no one lost their life, thanks to the quick action of a brave off duty police officer, the suspect was killed and we avoided more people being hurt. I had a chance also to speak with governor dayton this morning. I assured him that we will provide all the assistance that he needs in the investigation. The fbi is investigating the minnesota incident as a potential act of terrorism. We will direct the full resources of the federal government to make sure the investigation goes forward aggressively. Finally, i want to take the opportunity to reassure the people in this city, this region and americans across our country that our counterterrorism and Law Enforcement professionals at every level, federal, state, and local, are working together around the clock to prevent attacks and to keep us safe. They are the best of the best. Over the years they have thwarted many plots and saved many lives. We are incredibly grateful for their Service Today and every single day. We will continue to lead the Global Coalition on the fight to destroy isil, which is instigating a lot of people over the internet to carry out attacks. We are going to continue to go after them. Were going to take out their leaders, infrastructure. They are continuing to lose ground in iraq and syria. Later today ill meet with Prime Minister abadi in iraq to sustain that momentum. As we take away more territory it exposes isil as the failed group it is. It will make it harder to recruit and inspire people to violence. Were going to continue to enlist Tech Companies and community and religious leaders to push back on online content and all messages of hate. You know, at moments like this, i think its important to remember what terrorists and violent extremists are trying to do. They are trying to hurt innocent people, but they also want to inspire fear in all of us and disrupt the way we live, undermine our values. And so even as we have to be vigilant and aggressive both in preventing senseless acts of violence but also making sure that we find those who carry out such acts and bring them to justice, we all have a role to play as citizens in making sure that we dont succumb to that fear. And theres no better example of that than the people of new york and new jersey. When i was speaking to Governor Cuomo and governor christie and mayor de blasio, one appoint that they all made is, folks around here, you know, they do not get scared. They are tough. They are resilient. They go about their business every single day. That kind of toughness and resolute ne resoluteness and the recognition neither individuals nor organizations like isil can ultimately undermine our way of life, thats the kind of strength that makes me so proud to be an american, and thats the kind of strength thats going to be absolutely critical, not just in the days to come but in the years to come. By showing those who want to do us harm that they will never beat us, by showing the entire world that as americans we do not and never will give in to fear, thats going to be the most important ingredient in us defeating those who would carry out terrorist acts against us. Thank you very much, everybody, as i said you will be receiving, im sure, ongoing briefings from both fbi and local Law Enforcement in terms of the details of the investigation. President obama in new york for u. N. General assembly meeting. I want to get right to our justice correspondent Pete Williams. If you notice on the bottom of the screen we do have breaking news as that press conference was happening. Pete, what do we know . Im not even sure the president was aware of this, kate, as he was speaking but several Law Enforcement officials at fed, state and local officials Ahmad Khan Rahami was captured a short time ago in linden, new jersey, which is about four miles away from linden, new jersey where he was apparently living and where those pipe bombs were found and detonated this morning. Were told that about sometime between 10 30 and 11 00, there was a shootout between rahami, who is seen here in a still picture that new Jersey Police say was from the Surveillance Video at the new york bombing scenes. Of the Surveillance Videos at the new york bombing scenes. They say he was in a shootout with police in linden, new jersey. A short time later they called for the bomb squad. He was apparently wounded in that shooting and has been taken to a nearby hospital. We dont know his condition. But this is breathtakingly fast here, kate. Just this morning at about, oh, 7 30 or so, the police made his name public after theyd been searching for him from the previous 15 hours or so. Based on what i am told is a mul multiple evidence. Timing devices on the flip phones had numbers that police were able to follow through on. Then the Surveillance Video. All of these things added together led to him. After they couldnt find him after searching his house, questioning members of his family, they decided to make his name public, and less than three hours later he was involved in a shootout with police. And three and a half hours later he was in custody. So an astonishingly Fast Development here, kate. Remarkable how quickly this is all moving. The pictures that were showing are all of the same individual now in custody. Pete, do your sources, Law Enforcement, think there might be others vord or are they fairly convinced this is the sole person behind these incidents over the weekend . That is unknown to them. Of course they believe he is involved. As to whether others are involved, too soon to say. No conclusion reached on that. They dont know whether this is all the work of one person, whether someone else was involved. They just dont know that. All right, Pete Williams following all of this for us. Pete, thanks so much. We will of course have much more on this developing quickmoving story throughout the day. You can find us on msnbc, on nbcnews. Com. A full wrapup tonight with lester holt on nbc nightly news. Im kate snow in new york. This has been an nbc news special report. For a marathon. When is it okay to bleach or dye your hair . This is a biggie. Women, if you think about it, nine months theyre like can i do my hair or not . We want women to know that they can do hair treatments. When we think about the chemicals that they are exposed to, theyre really not that toxic. Theres also that assumption people think it is absorbed by the blood stream. Its not. You can use semipermanent dyes or henna. Or best case scenario, if youre really worried, dont do any hair treatments during pregnancy or wait until after the first trimester, which is the first 12 to 13 weeks. Okay. Herary te ar heres a big one. When is it okay to have a glass of wine . As a Health Care Provider we generally recommend do not take any alcohol during the pregnancy. The reason is we know there is fetal alcohol syndrome which is the most preventable form of mental retardation. If you dont want any risk at all, dont put yourself at risk. Women do metabolize alcohol differently. We dont know how much would cause fetal alcohol syndrome. Absolutely. When is it okay to take Pain Medicine and what kind . Yes. So pain obviously during pregnancy can become an issue. We want to know as a Health Care Provider is it pain that started before . Did you have a history of migraine headaches . Or is it something thats new in pregnancy. If it is new and you are masking that pain, that may hide some diseases or conditions during pregnancy. Mild pain, we usually recommend for you to take acetaminophen and not ibuprofen because we dont want to affect the babys kidneys, the amniotic fluid levels. If you are taking narcotics, make sure you do that under the guidance of your Health Care Provider. Thats some strong stuff. Can be. Finally, the question of all when is it okay to head to the hospital to have this baby . This was your question. You were like when can i go to the hospital. Some of the key factors as you get towards that time when you are 40 weeks, which is, again, term, obviously if tu break your bag of water which is a sudden gush of fluid. Or maybe sometimes a constant trickle, then go to the hospital and be evaluated. Fetal movement. If you find the baby is not moving as much as you like, then you really want to pay close attention to it. If it seems to become more of an issue, talk to your Health Care Provider. Bleeding is also a big factor that we want to make sure you arent bleeding too much. Coming close to the end of pregnancy you may have a little bit of spotting. But heavy bleeding, weep want to make sure there is no placental issues. And contractions. Five minutes apart or less. When in doubt, call the doctor. Thank you, doctodoctor. Next, nick jonas and the rave reviews from his new test test. Test. 8 39. Nick jonas, already an established pop star. Now he is taking on a new talent with a lead role in the new movie, goat. He plays a College Student torn between his frat brothers and his real brother. Take a look. Show me you mean business. Okay. You got to be tougher. You can do this, dude. I know. Come on. Nick, good morning. Good to see you. Good to see you. This is not animal house 2016. This is not a comedy at all. This has a lot of dark elements in it. Why did you want to do this . I think the first thing that stood out to me was the relationship between the brothers. The biological brothers . Yeah. Brad and brett. This is based off brad lands memoir. Just an amazing story about m s masculinity and what that looks like today and his journey through Fraternity Culture and his experience with hazing which really got out of hand. I knew the role would challenge me and make me grow. You mentioned hazing. You dont think this is an indictment on the Fraternity Culture in general, but you do want this movie to shine a light on one particular aspect of that. Yeah. I think that all of us were really conscious of making sure that we didnt make a movie that was an indictment of Fraternity Culture because there is a lot of good things in it. Even in filming the movie, being around the other brothers, both biological brother and the brothers in the fraternity, you see that there are some things that can help you grow and become a better person. But a lot things that make it challenging. Almost every college and university in this country has cracked down hard on some of the hazing practices that in the past had been part of pledging a fraternity. And yet it seems as if these things continue to make headlines almost every year. Why do you think it remains intact . You know, i can only speak to my experience in making the movie. I didnt have a Traditional College experience. What i saw was that when you get a bunch of young men together without any real consequences for their actions, it is kind of a battle to be alpha and be the best and bad things happen in that scenario. My little brother just started college this year. I said look, man, before you decide to pledge to a fraternity i would love for you to see this movie just pass a bit of an educational tool, something to say thats the case scenario. Go in with eyes wide open. Exactly. If you were in college now you would be a 24yearold freshman. You just had a birthday. I did. Couple days ago. What did you do . Had a show in phoenix. Just wrapped up a tour with demi lovato. Did 42 cities in like nine weeks. Last show was in l. A. Two days ago. I kind of celebrated my birthday there with friends and celebrated with a great tour. How about the Jonas Brothers in terms of new music and any chance of reunion . Joes doing really well with his band now, dnc. They actually popped up and surprised the audience in l. A. We had them here. I saw. It was awesome. And kevins doing well with his new business and his wife is pregnant again with another child. I think everyone is happy on their own. But were family first. Thats the key for us right now. Meanwhile, you were on that show running wild bear grylls. He is amazing. Made it a great experience. You are fantastic in this movie. Congratulations. But first, this is today on nbc. But first, this is today on nbc. We are back with today food. This week we are cooking up fiveingredient dishes to make your weekends a little less hectic. Chef donnatella, nice to see you. From the newly opened prova pizza bar here in new york. Good to see you. This is what we are going for right here. Yes. Almond encrusted chicken. Then i have a problem because if i look at the ingredient board, first i see six ingredients. Salt and pepper doesnt count. What about the tomatoes . I think tomatoes should be right here in place of the salt and pepper. Chicken, panko, almonds, eggs olive oil. Olive oil you dont even count it. You basically take a piece of meat pound it, boom, boom, boom. You could even use pork. Here we go. Lets unwrap. Unwrap. Do you want to touch the chicken with your bare hands . I dont mind but then im going to wash my hands. I washed my hands first. You dont have to. Im just kidding. I know you are a germophobe. Thats okay. Little pepper. Boom, boom, boom. Heres my almonds. Chicken cutlets are an every day staple but adding the almonds really adds a nice touch. Could you use another kind of nut if you dont like almonds . Not really . You can. I think the almonds really add the nice crunch to it. Then you take your chicken cutlets. You going to dredge it first . Im going to dredge it in egg. Combine the almond and panko. Why do you like panko . It adds a nice crunch. If youre glutenfree, you can also get a glutenfree panko and add it with the almonds and it becomes glutenfree. Here we go. Matt, im going to make you do something. The key to this is after its dredged, you refrigerate it for 20 minutes. Why is that so important . Because it makes the crust really stick when youre frying. Okay. So that there are no flyaways. Is this hot enough . Is this hot enough . Lets replace this one for that one. Okay. Look how good you are in the kitchen. Are you cooking in the kitchen now . Im okay. Im good on the show. Im not great in the real kitchen. Okay. Then you just let it fry for about three minutes on each side. Obviously you want to make sure the chicken is fully cooked. Dont mess with it. Thats all. Afterward you are going to drain it. Drain it right on there. And then heres my fifth ingredient. A Little Cherry tomatoes, a little olive oil. Now this is the sixth ingredient. This is actually by my count the eighth ingredient. I like shallots and a little lemon juice. That would be the ninth ingredient. This is optional this is an optional thing. Okay. Thats what im saying. Its optional. Here we go. Thats how you present it. Where are you going . Thats it. Thats all we have. We have a tasting table downstairs. Can we look downstairs . We have a tasting table downstairs. This is so yummy. If you added one more thing then you could have two fiveingredient meals. Al, are you with me on this . I am. Its fantastic its simple. It really is. Its just more than five. But its okay. The chicken is five ingredients. I just want to i want the today show audience to know the versatility. You can add an arugula salad. You can add tomatoes. Now youre up to about 20 thank you very much. Find the recipes at today. Com food. Well have more teningredient recipes this week. No were back after your local news and weather. Im. Take vo led to the death of a driver on good morning 8 56 on monday. Im sam brock. A delicious dinner and all you need are five ingredients. All that and more coming up now. Announcer from nbc news, this is todays take with al roker, tamron hall, and billy bush. Live from studio 1a in rockefeller plaza. Welcome to today on this monday morning, september 19th, 2016. Billy bush and were hoping als been gone basically all of last week. Tamron took off friday. You went on a nice vacation with friends and one paramour. 1 out of 2. Dylan got me to confess weve got two men interested in tamron. She went with one of them can we call it a road test . Oh. Take him on the road . Al is stunned by this. Youve known me many years and you know i do not talk about my dating life. The reason i dont is because if it doesnt work out, then you got to tell what happened. And then, the other guy when you finally find mr. Right, hes watched you talk about other men for six years. The taylor swift of talk television. But the opposite. But yes, i went to colombia. One of the most beautiful places. For the weekend. I went 48 hours. Left friday, hit the ground, 1 12 55. Didnt stop until i got back. How did he do . My friends loved him. Oh. Hes great in a room. What about when it is private . Goodnight, everybody. My mother watches this show. Bottom line is, yeah, im going to make some life decisions. I may be willing to share after october. Midoctober. I have made i did. Is that another trip youre going to take . Ive decided no. I want to be married. I decided i want to be married and i probably have set a goal for the end of the year. I dont see what could go wrong. Okay. Back to the trip. I took a canoe ride through mangroves in a part of colombia. It was the most beautiful thing. Oh. Thats me. They filmed that movie love in the time of cholera. I was trying to reenact the movie, except for the cholera part. Billy did mention i need to make some decisions until dating. Ive given myself until the end of the year. And i want to surprise you with the two guys and somehow he a picture of them. Okay. They agreed to be photographed together. What . There they. On. Out o here. Theres my two suitors, ages 6 and 10. There they are. These are little boys i met. So far nothing about this sounds good. In the safest way possible. But i do want to thank the people of carta hanga. You laugh . My show, deadline crime, im walking down the street. People are like, crime lady crime lady number one. While i was out finding love, and you were finding a love for colleges. Yes. For your child. We did a little hopefully the end of the college tour. We were at u. C. Boulder, which is lovely. Fantastic. Then we went to u. T. Austin. Longhorns. And that was spectacular. And the only reason why im rooting for u. T. Austin besides the fact that the Moody College of communications is spectacular, as is the usc school of journalism, but austin has franklin barbecue. So youll visit your child, then you go eat at franklins . Yes. For those who dont know, al roker has like a special table at franklins. You have to stand in line true story. You go to franklins. They dont care who you are. Celebrity. You could be anybody. Youve got to stand in this line which they have a card and they give it to the last person and it is called the last man standing. Unless you know al roker. And then they take you in the back and they have this secret little room and then you have to try your love of franklins. Listen, there are planes. I can still go. Are you willing to reveal your real choice . I know you dont want to go just because of franklins. To be honest, wherever she wants to go. Wherever she gets in. Its not like she can in anywhe anywhere. But shes literally looked coast to coast. I wonder when you have a whole week with your daughter. Like i can take my parents and my fatherinlaw for three days. Thats about then everybody gets on everybodys nerves. Was it beautiful . Did it grow the whole time . We had a great time. Like we were in boulder. I posted this. There was a spa that had a sign in the window, breast milk facials. What . Breast milk facials. Are you sure you read it right . Uh, yeah. Uh, yeah. Ill see if i can find it. I never heard is that legal . Well pull that one up. You were hanging out at the beyonce concert . I told you, my daughter wanted to go to beyonce. I told her tickets are too expensive. Youre going to find a way it o get that money. She went and sold lemonade at a lemonade stand. She and her buddy went to the beyonce concert. Notice that my wife spent probably double that on beyonce tour jackets and hats. They look like they could be sisters. They do. Thats lilly and her buddy, chloe. She scored big with the beyonce attire. I think she sold the lemonade to pay for the ticket but something tells me its at least seven times that at the end of this. But im not going to ask dont ask. Dont ask, dont tell. By the way, just wanted to show you breast milk facial . Oh, no. Oh, my gosh, its a real thing. The emmys were last night. Game of thrones and veep repeated as best drama and best comedy. Julia louisdreyfus is on some role. She blended the political and the poignant in her acceptance speech. Our show started out as a political satire, but it now feels more like a sobering documentary. So i certainly do promise to rebuild that wall and make mexico pay for it. Lastly, id like to dedicate this to my father, willie louisdreyfus who passed away on friday. And im so glad that he liked veep because his opinion was the one that really mattered. Thank you. Wow. Dont think anyone saw that. Didnt know. There was a moment earlier in the program when Kate Mckinnon won for snl and they took a shot of Julia Louisdreyfus and she had this odd look on her face. It is so obvious know that she was probably thinking about her dad and things. It was just an unfortunate moment. But what a poignant speech. It was. And we love her so much. Someone else i fell in love with last night, jimmy kimmel. Ive been a fan, ive watched from time to time. But i ran home to watch his performance. As you know, it is a performance. He did a very good job. There are obviously lits ahits misses. One of the big moments, his mom coming out with 7,000 Peanut Butter and jelly sandwiches with handwritten notes. Ellen did pizzas. But it wasnt 7,000. Wasnt a parent involved. Then you have joe it was cute because they had Stranger Things cast. All kids. My daughters loved these guys. That was cute. I dont know i think theres no you a tradition because chris rock followed it up with giving out Girl Scout Cookies that we have to give out something every year. We give out free stuff. On friday. Its not like the Golden Globes where they feed them. But that one moment with the bill cosby joke, a lot of folks were confused. Tina fey, included. Ladies and gentlemen, fourtime emmy award winner, dr. Bill cosby. I just hes not dont worry. Hes not really here. I just wanted to see what you guys would do. Wow. Wow. Thats a little better today but in the moment tamron was like but even at home, i felt my knees hes not coming out here. Of course, he did not. What about jeb bush . High point of the night for me. Limine driver in a skit. Wow. Whats that like . Its nice. You think you can win . There is a lot of competition. And probably not. Heres what i know. If you run a positive campaign, the voters ultimately will make the right choice. You know, funny you say that, my psychic jimmy, that was a joke. Get out of the car. And slave that wig off your face, you godless hollywood hippie. Jeb exclamation point. That was awesome. Hes a good actor. I thought he was going to follow that up with some announcement today he was running independent. Nobody, he nor his brother endorsed the donald. Reince priebus came out with a Statement People better get behind the republican nominee. Jebs obviously not worried about it. The last moment is matt damon. Of course jimmy and matt damon have a long running feud. They celebrate each others misery as often as possible. Did this one work . I missed the last category. Did you win . No, we didnt win. All right . Thats a bummer. The emmy for that makes a lot of sense. But its you must be really bummed out. Yeah, im a little disappointed. Thank you. So youre not going to get a trophy. No, i dont get a trophy then. Are you finished . You done . Wait. Who did get a trophy . Who won . John oliver. He was just out here. What do you mean who won . Yes yes yes. Im sorry. I mean you lost and now you got to stand out here for the rest of the night in front of everybody. Thats really no. I mean when you probably just want to go home and curl up and cry. It doesnt matter what we think because they had a cutaway shock of chris rock and Jerry Seinfeld laughing. Up next, what everyone really cares about the emmy fashion. Weve got the good, the bad, and somebody i think fell asleep in a tanning booth. We have the why let someone else have all the fun . The sometimes haphazard, never boring. Fun. The why cant it smell like this all the time. Fun. The learning the virtue of sharing. Fun. Why let someone else have all the fun . Thats no fun. Its baking season. Warm up with pillsbury. Lets talk fashion. Beginning with the good, Kerry Washington, everybody agrees, a black strapless gown by Brandon Maxwell with some cutouts right beneath the bust. What do we think . That was beyond good. That was great. Kerry washington is giving me diana ross moments. I actually looked for video just to see her not just in a still but walking. It was stunning. Stunning speaking of diana ross. Yeah. Tracy ellis ross, custom ralph lauren collection. White cutout as well. Just you say a custom single shoulder silk governing council with handpleated and handdraped silk chiffon overlay. A home run, no question about about it. Thats magic, tracy ellis ross. You are magic. I like that oneshoulder. It is a flattering cut. I know women are sometimes afraid of you but it does hit you on what are most body types i mean a range of body types a really beautiful area of the woman just in here. It looks really sexy. Put a little bronzer right there . Boom. What about sara paulson in prada. Al, you are a man who likes a plunging neckline. But i usually like it on you. Thats lovely. It really is. Isnt it nice . A lot going on. J. Loesque from way back. I liked rami malek. Not a lot of men can wear that skinny suit. Matt lauer can. Billy with your thighs . Jimmys now slimmer build than he had traditionally been. He really has a slim build. In hollywood you can never have too much money or be too thin. Thats what they say. What about amy poehler . This is falling into the category, people maybe didnt love. Her body, she has an amazing figure but this doesnt do her any justice. Im not crazy about the color. But she did Something Different than weve seen at the Golden Globes. The cape is nice. This past Golden Globes she came out in she has an amazing body. It just doesnt show off her silhouette as much. Anna had a baby two months ago. I dont think this number is as bad the cape if the cape was gone. I would go out on the line and say i actually like it. I dont see what the problem is. The color youve been there on the red carpet, billy. There are certain dresses that look so great in person and they dont photograph well. A lot of the stylists now here is a trick. They take a picture of you before you hit the red carpet to see how it photographs. I bet you that was much prettier in person. Looks fine to me. Looks expensive. What about claire danes . Moodily wh l immediately when i say her went whoa heavy on the tan. It is a Little Orange right there what . I think our monitor isnt doing it as much justice as there was shes a paleskinned beautiful there was layers of tanning. That picture looks fine to me. Sometimes the once over, the twice over they went for the st. Tropez. Remember that commercial . We had a quick little moment here on friday. Corey feldman gave us a performance. Its gone viral. You both were gone. Ive heard about it. I want you to see a little bit of whats going on here. This is coreys performance with his angels. He brought angels . Yeah. They try to put you down they put you on the ground they leave you lying there though they dont make a sound what genre music is this . Edm. Theres been a ton of backlash. Coreys responded strongly. People are teasing him. According to people magazine, he talked to theyre bullying him like crazy, a weirdo, a freak. One thing thats nice, someone who stepped up for him is pink. Superstar pink said, well, i love ya, corey. I know how much it takes to get up there and do your thing. Keep your head up and know that youre loved. You dont have to pile on somebody. And you dont have to be so nasty. You can say what was that . But to bully him, hes out there performing. You dont like it, you dont like it. The level of aggression. I thought about you, too. A couple of tweets just watching the emmys. Like the level of aggression regarding someones just dress choice is insane it is amazing. Come back, corey. Give us an encore. Thats what we really want. Thats whats going on 85 for the peninsula and still warm this afternoon. South bay of 92 degrees. Temperatures in the sevenday forecast, San Francisco, well be back in the 60s tomorrow. For over 100 years like kraft has, natural cheese you learn a lot about how people cook. I wish i had like four different mexican cheeses but in one super melty cheese. It does exist you still have two cheese wishes left. Mother inlaw with a glad bag, full of trash. What happens next . Nothing. Only glad has febreze to neutralize odors for 5 days. Guaranteed. Even the most perceptive noses wont notice the trash. Be happy. Its glad. Youre probably wondering why thaive just carvedng a giant wooden tiger. Well, the answer is that a real one would maul me. Ive crafted dr. Whiskers here as a visual aid to show you that should you visit the lot, carmax associates will not pounce like tigers because people dont like that. Come here to buy a car. Dr. Whiskers wont pounce. Nobody will. People say, lets just get a sandwich or something. Or something . You dont just graduate from medical school, or something. And we dont just pull smoked chicken, bake fresh foccacia and handslice avocado. Theres nothing or something about it. Mazing seasons on hbos entourage, it was this brooklyn natives breakout role. The great harry carrey said nef run to a microphone. Power. Can we just talk . The twitter traffic. Did you read . People are addicted to this show and the finale was insane. You know, back in the day on entourage, twitter wasnt really around so im not used to a live chat while the episodes actually airing. You want to talk about instant feedback, it is all brandnew to me. Some of the other cast members told me how much it is tweeted about. I didnt really believe it until i became a cast member. Its great. How did your first job prepare you for this . The fact that you worked at not just worked at boston market, but you were employee of the month. By the way, several times. Several times let the record show, three times. Why did you win and the others didnt . Did you serve up corn faster . Thats what we do on this show. Actually, i worked every single part of the job. This week on today food, were bringing you fiveingredient meals to make dinner time as easy as possible. Owner of spoon and table in minneapolis, a spectacular restaurant. A healthy dish you can make tonight in notime flat. Lets get started. Weve got our fish, some ginger, some garlic, scallions, your yuzu, butter, oil. Its all there. Were going to say salt, pepper, butter, free ingredients. Were going to use red snapper today. You could use trout, salmon, cod. This vinaigrette is very simple to make. It is something thats great not just for fish. Chicken, steak. Get the pan very hot and char the scallions. You are using Grapeseed Oil . It is a higher smoking point. Literally want to burn as much as i can the scallions and really char it on the outside. Use everything, too. The good thing with the scallions, the burn you burn it, the sweeter thats going to get. As that starts to char, you kind of see this here. Thats been grilled. Well just chop everything up. You eat the little fuzzy things . Oh, yeah. Keep it on there. There is no reason to do a dice or anything like that. Just chop it up. This is kind of the base. I like to have the texture of this because to me this is the whole point of why this vinaigrette is really delicious in some applications. So scallions are going to go in. As thats sort of going around, add some yuzu. What is yuzu . It is a japanese scitrus. Lemon and lime married together. If you dont have it. Little bit of lemon, little bit of lime. Sesame oil. Some chopped garlic. Some chopped ginger. Little bit of soy sauce. You can use low sodium if you want. Exactly. Grape a little bit more Grapeseed Oil. Go ahead. You dont have to do the emulsification. You dont have to whisk it. This is really, really simple. Then well start to come over here with the fish. This is the snapper. Typically, i dont like to season the skin side. Really. I just do the flesh side. If you add a lot of salt to the skin side it takes the moisture out so it tends to give you a less crispy skin. I know billy loves this crispy skin. On chicken the skin is very fattening. Is it . No. Let it out. This is going to cook really fast. This is going to cook quick. Get it nice and crispy. Put it down. Then youre going to see it pop up. Just sort of push down a little bit. So it is going to steam. If you push it down like this, this is when it gets really nice and crispy. You get this beautiful char. Spoon over some of the yep. Once this comes out, just take the scallion. Put that on top. You just move this around. You got a couple over there. Put it right on top like that. Fantastic. Thank you so much. Dont forget, check out today. Com food for the recipe. Now lets check out your weather, show you whats going on.
