Reporter good morning. It all begins with jury selection this afternoon. At issue, was taylor swift groped by a former radio deejay before a concert four years ago. This morning, depositions are shining a light on what we can expect to hear from the witnesses. After keeping a low profile for months, taylor swift is emerging not to sing, but to testify. Posing for a picture during a meet and greet in 2015, swift said mueller lefted her skirt and grabbed her bare behind. Swift testified, as soon as he grabbed my behind, i was shocked and withdrawn, and was barely able to say thanks for coming, which is what i say to everybody. I was barely able to get the words out. It was like somebody switched the lights off in my personality. Swift never reported it to police. But one of the reps told muellers reporter, kygo radio. Managers interviewed mueller and fired him. He did not sue the station but in 2015 he sued swift and members of her team, saying the allegation is false and cost him his job. His lawsuit says the contention that mr. Mueller lifted up swifts skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend in front of ms. Swifts photographer and highly trained security personnel during a vip back stage meet and greet is nonsense. Swift countersued, claiming assault and battery. A member of her Security Team is expected to testify. During his deposition, he said, before the photo was taken i saw mueller put his arm around her and him lift up her skirt. Swift reacted, pushed her skirt down and jumped to the side and went closer to the girl that was with him. That woman, muellers girlfriend at the time, shannon, is also supposed to testify. During her deposition, melcher said, i could not see what was going on behind me. I was unaware of anything that would have gone on, but she added, from what i know about David Mueller from the time we spent together, it is hard for me to believe he would intentionally do Something Like that to a woman. Courthouse security will be tight with big crowds expected but limited space in their courtroom. Spectators must leave their concert gear at home. Clothing or buttons with the parties likeness is not allowed. Banners, signs, and posters, a reminder this is a federal trial, not a show. Swift and mueller are not required to be in court today for jury selection, which is closed to the public. Opening statements will likely take place at some point tomorrow. Because this is a federal case, no cameras allowed in court. Back to you guys. Joe fryer in denver. Thanks. Check back in with ms. Dylan. Check of the weather. After stirring up controversy for weeks, a new documentary featuring personal recordings of Princess Diana premiered last night. What did we learn from it . Nbcs keir simmons is at Kensington Palace with more of that. Hey, keir. Reporter hey, guys. Good morning. Good to see you all. A few weeks ago, we heard from william and harry about their mother, very movingly. Their account of diana. This is diana, in her own words, recorded a few decades ago. And its more bitter, more painful, and more critical of charles and camilla in particular. It raises difficult questions, guys, of who should be in charge of dianas legacy and how she should be seen. Is this what diana should have wanted . I had 13 pounds when we got married. Reporter in the new documentary, diana in her own words, the beloved princess, sharing intimate details, about her royal relationship with charles, including their first awkward kiss. He started kissing me. This is what people do. And all the rest of the evening, followed me around. A puppy. Reporter and her true feelings early on. And, i suppose, in love. Of course. Whatever in love means. That threw me completely. Thats a strange question. And answer. It traumatized me. Listen to yourself. Reporter the recordings made while working with a voice coach. Friends of diana called last nights broadcast, exploittive, ghoulish, disgusting. Dianas brother, saying the program would cause distress, particularly to dianas sons, william and harry. But others, like dianas dance teacher, say the tapes reflect what happened. Its hard for any woman when you love someone and you realize that, perhaps, they dont love you. Reporter diana talks candidly of her eating disorder. Everybody knew about bulimia in the family. And they blame the failure. And thats taken time to get everything differently. I was rejected. I didnt think i was good enough. I took it on myself. Reporter ken wharfe, who worked with diana for many years, says its the truth. What she said on the tapes is exactly she would say anyway, to anybody. Reporter but its the diana story the royal family finds most uncomfortable. The princess describing how she reached out to the queen and got no help. I went to the top lady. Sobbing. And i said, what do i do . And she said, i dont know what to do. That was help. Reporter the man who made the recordings, saying the people who criticized this broadcast, criticized diana when she went public when she was arrive. And channel 4, the tv station that broadcast them, saying, the recordings made in private but the subject matter is a matter of public record. The issue here, is this is history, were seeing. At the same time, it is william and harrys life. Guys . Yeah. Thats painful to watch and to hear what she went through and hear her talking about it. Keir, thank you very much. Interesting she would get into that depth with her voice coach about such personal things. You wonder, did she know she was being recorded . Or is that part of the voice coaching . Just talk. And did she have no one else to speak to about that stuff . Fascinating. Lets turn to trending. No segue. Theres a plate of cheeseburgers and people say, what is the deal . Theres an article on deadspin. Its ignited a debate, saying we have been making your cheeseburgers indirecorrectly. You should never add the cheese to the burger. This melts the cheese too thinly and it falls off of the sides. I love that. The article says, you should never add your bugger extras on top of the cheese, like you see in the photo behind the red ex. Everything will slide off the cheese, making a mess. What youre supposed to do, is add the cheese to the top of the bun, after the burger is all of the grill. Place it on top after it melts. And you have the tomato on the meet. The big teakeaway is that yo do not put the cheese on the grill. You put a cold piece of cheese on the burger and the. Bun. Its delightful the way the cheese melts on the burger on the grill. Right . I agree. We asked you on twitter how you cook your cheeseburgers at home. 80 of you are with us. You add the cheese to the burger while its on the bubbles up . Yeah. I think what the argument is, you take the bun, you take the piece of cold cheese, and then you add some hot burger, like this. So you do it this way. And that melts the cheese and keeps it right. And then you put all of this stuff like that. Keeps it going i think its better over, because this stuff should be on top. I agree. Right. Its a matter of choice. If you want to put it on after its been grilled, god bless. Youre like, this is more than we really need. So now pop start. You want cheat melted on your pizza . Back, now, with more of todays take and our superstar cohosts, john cena and Brett Eldredge. This is about sportsmanship. Over the weekend, a 10k race in maine. One runner crossed the finish line with the help of another. Jesse was in the lead. And less than 100 yards from the finish line, he apparently collapsed from heat stroke. He thought the race was over for him. And he felt someone pick him up. Robert gomez, his competitor, helped him to his feet and carried him across the finish line. This was the guy in second place. He went on to win the race. He could have just looked at him and kept going. Run right by him. Wow. Trying to reach out to him for comment. We received a statement from robert, it says, i didnt have much time to think about it. I felt the need to get jesse across the finish line before me because i believe he deaf serseo win. How cool is that . Thats the best. If you were in first place, you would have fallen, would you want someone to carry you across the finish line . I think when the guy explains himself. And the gentleman was a better runner than he. You cant deny that. Whether you want it to happen or not. Thats a tremendous show of sportmanship. Lets talk about the weather.
