Such a mission going on in mind. But the fact is. Most of the Jews still voting for Democrats who are crazy. You know we all have now the 10 o clock news in our pocket right I mean we get we just pull out our smartphones and we can have the news instantaneously delivered to us anytime we want and I can be sitting in the bathroom and you can essentially get news from around the world in 5 minutes hopefully no longer so yeah I don t think it s any problem with the people involved I think it s the technology same with newspapers I mean it and you know it creates an interesting situation for talk radio I think a lot of people are really surprised that talk radio has continued to do as well as it does and but I think it s easy to understand why because there really isn t a technological replacement for this at least not at the local level and the interactive nature of it it cetera the immediacy the longer format I don t think it says easily replaced by technology by these innovations at least I hope it isn t. But in any case I mean it s it s you know remarkably strong right now given how the world around it media wise is falling apart and you look at those numbers at late night news and yeah I do think one thing that s missing one thing that would help late night news I remember Kirk when we had just numbers that couldn t even be a magistrate now for this series that I did it wasn t about me it was just the series was very well conceived and executed and produced but we did a series on deadbeat dads and we connected with this mom and and and this very moving situation and I flew out to California to find this guy and had a really great photo journalists with me and it documented our effort to find him and then you know we we found him and we had a conversation with him in the whole thing was very compelling but those numbers 3 nights in a row are just you know blew up the ratings they were phenomenally great but the point was that we were doing investigative work you know we were doing work that really helped solve problems help stop bad things accomplished good things I really think if I had any advice for late night t.v.
