So the tsa lines were long, but they did move pretty quickly. With officials reminding people to arrive 2 hours early for domestic flights and 3 hours for International Flights 3 hours, 3 hours. Anyone with the state address can download the dmv. Wallet app on their smartphone and follow the instructions to scan their license or id. This digital ideas accepted at nearly 30 airports, including san jose sfo, lax in las vegas. You can also use the digital id to verify your age when making a purchase. But its not accepted by police state. Government agencies are going to hang on to your actual drivers license. The digital licenses, part of a pilot program. So participation is limited. What just happened . What happened was we live in the bay area and right now you can see blue skies out the golden gate bridge. There is still a little fog kind of hanging on to the coastline. But for the most part, its dissipating. But you can kind of see. You know, just there longer sfo is thats why theyve got just a tiny bit of it. But all the action right now, weather wise in california is still down in Southern California where they are still dealing with some of those showers that have happened. I should say downpours in some spots you can see in and around los angeles. A few of those showers rolling in a Santa Barbara which got just a deluge of rain, still getting a little bit as well and notice there are Winter Weather advisories there because there is snow in parts of a Southern California as well. And that is going go through the next about 15 hours, though, they get into the Early Morning hours of tomorrow. But and that does include big bear. So if youre headed down Southern California, highly recommend you wait until this afternoon and then well start to get some clearing, as you can see, just a little bit of that fog hanging out at sfo. Police have identified. 46 yearold Jason Guillen water as the person who killed a man and injured a woman at a home on iowa avenue. This was on thursday morning. They say that guy drove off the stabbings and the search for dylan water reportedly forced a lockdown of a nearby elementarytschool. And as police are searching for him on thursday, the chp located his car in ukiah and he was then found dead from a selfinflicted gunshot wound. Pacifica police say theyre still trying to learn more about a motive. In the east bay. Oakley. Police have identified the pizza delivery man who was killed while sitting in his car outside of his home. Police say 24 yearold Gabriel Stewart was shot while taking a break from delivering pizzas for dominoes. This happened around 5 oclock on wednesday night and rutherford lane right across the street from Village Parkway elementary school. This is a very sad for us to have to investigate but were were going to our best to figure this one out. Police have not released the name of the shooter or a possible motive in the east bay. Alameda police are warning residents to be on alert as they do their lastminute shopping. They say there is an increase in residents being followed home after shopping leading to arrests, a leading to many thefts and also robberies. Police say if you are suspecting that youre being followed, you should take these steps, change directions if they follow your every move, then head to a public place or a Police Department do not go home. In the north bay, 2 people are recovering from stab wounds to their hands after trying to help a man in petaluma. Thin happened wednesday night at a neighborhood near ali boulevard and frates road. Police say the 2 victims are trying to help a man who was unresponsive on the sidewalk when that man suddenly stood up and started chasing people with a knife. They say he not other people unconscious after pushing them to the ground and then try to advance towards them with other people tried to stop him and they were cut on their hands during this incident. Police say the man showed signs of being drunk. He was arrested and then booked into jail. San Francisco Police say they are successfully cracking down on retail thefts. They say their lives blitz operation generated 18 arrests. The Department Says the blitz most part of a preplanned shoplifting enforcement operation for retail stores. The stonestown mall and also in union square. The stores chosen due to the high number of shoplifting shop lifting incidents. They have been experiencing.
