Now, as for biden, he could wait to make an announcement until after she testifies, but his supporters are urging him to announce a final decision beforehand arguing he could look calculating if he waits until her testimony, and that could undercut his argument that hes running for his own reasons and not because clinton is somehow a weakened candidate. Right there, jeff. I still dont see it. I know. Its really hard, almost impossible. Oh, its right here. Watch again from a different angle. You cant see the mannequin until right there, and by then you cant stop. I flew right by this. A second later i would have hit this child. This would not be a static child, a mannequin. No, your hair looks good. I took a leap and im doing this play here in town, and i thought it was a good idea to let my hair grow out because i know you keep your hair trim and for the last ten years i kept my hair trimmed but i think i made a mistake. I like it. I think it works. Talk to me about this movie and how you came to play bombay brian. It was serendipitous. I had a few days off. I was going to go see my wifes mom in malta, and i had the opportunity to stop in the Sahara Desert where these guys you want to come over and work with bill and i had done a couple of things with him. I think its his best movie. He is terrific in this picture. Just crazy. I think people who know him from some of his iconic rolls in the past think hes a wild man at all times and when i have been around him hes a more on the set. Serious, and takes it very serious and he has turns in this that are just unexpected and just crazy funny, crazy funny and very doesnt push. Doesnt and my character just cant stop wanting to hurt people, but he hes just great. He cracks me up, and, i mean, we were we were in the desert and the im not a desert guy. Ive never particularly cared 5 00 a. M. Is pretty cool, pretty cool. Youre here because youre doing broadway. Youre going to be in misery and start previews thursday and friday of this week. Did she put certain rules in place when dad comes to see the show. No uproarious laughter or no applause, no crying. No cell phones. No going oh, my daughter. But she is really terrific in the show, really great. Youve done so much in your career and is there something that you still need to check off a bucket list that youre doing to do . Im checking this one off. I havent been on stage for a while and have never been on broadway, and it you know as far as im concerned it is the big time and were at the broad hearst and its right on point. Do you promise if i say goodbye now youll come back before 22 years. You got it the. Rock the kaz bar opens on friday. Savannah with some hot trends morning, this is today on nbc. Were back. Its 8 40. When it comes to fall faction we youre of course all about the shoes and weve rounded up the host trends of the season. Cassie post is guilt. Coms lifestyle editor. Good morning. Good morning. Four big trentds for fall. Yes. The block heel. Came back. Im so happy. I know, i know and here we have shana in this gorgeous blatt form block heel. Its from zara and what we love about this is we can jog in these, and the thicker heels look really modern and take the platform from the 70s to 2015 i love the color of those, kind of like a deep teal. Fantastic and its truly about the 70s this season. Two more ways to do block heels. Okay. The first is the enclosed hopper. Molly ringwald is here. Very ducky a la 16 candles. This is from top chop, 82 and the block heel loafer, a very exaggerated block heel so it keeps them looking real el modern, totally fresh. Junkie heel was my thing in the 90s. Loved it. The next trend is what you call otk. Otk which means overtheknee boot and a lot of women say how do i wear this trend without going all pretty woman. Make it classy. Here we have megan showing us how to do this and look at these boots. These are not just otk. They are thighhigh. They are. Arent they great, and these are faux suede by steve madden, 149, and the trick is, you know, you dont have to show too much skin, just a little sliver and were also seeing women wear the skirts that go over. Thats what i do a lot on this show and its warm, too. So treat like a legging, you know, so we can go over and see a couple more examples. We saw loads of patchwork and embellishment and texture overtheknee boots on the runway, just 53 from go jaren, a real designer look, and here we have our weekend warrior, the workhorse of the overtheknee boot, equestrian style. And wear color block like this one, neutral would be a great idea. Because the boots are the whole story. And these are just 79 from venus. Have a clever way of putting things. Our next trend you describe as the fuzzy wuzzy. And you would think designers were inspired by the muppets or chewbacca this season because faux fur shoes and here we have the most hilariously fabulous show, its a neon faux fur sandal. Can i pet that. Thats all. These are just 40 and everyone at the office was going nuts over these and at 40 you can afford to experiment, dresses up a tuxedo, little black dress. Sandals kind of keeping you warm with all the faux fur. And look at these guys. Think its a pet. Leave out a couple of water for these. These are from chinese laundry, 79 and very apres skis. Look at pompoms. Too much. Youre killing me, apres ski. And the last trend. Love the disco trend. Lovingled disco trend, studio 54, saturday night fever, so here we have her in the great little disco sandal. Fringe, you are rocking the fringe, and weve got fringe and beading and this is by betsey johnson, 149 and new years is coming up. I can see you in these. I love those. Those might be my favorite today. Between those and the yellow fur creature. Two more. The chelsea boot in gold. Why not. Yeah. And were all about rocking metallics, in the just for evening. They are great for day. Would are you wear these with jeans, with a skirt, a dress. These are major and lastly mens wear still huge updated with a little metallic and gold. These are by aldo. A lot of choices for the lower back. Look comfy. Thanks so much and models, thank you. If you want more on the styles and keep up to date on the latest trends sign up for your newsletter. Ringwald and her new movie and a Breakfast Club anniversary, nbc. Its 8 46 and were ready to rock. Take a look. Gem and the holograms is based on the popular animated series hitting the big screen about a shy girl who becomes an overnight singing sen saying. Molly ringwald plays jens aunt who encourages her to follow her dreams. I think youre absolutely right. You are no rock star. Right, yeah, i mean, thats exactly what im saying. Potential to become something so much greater. Aunt billie, just will you just listen, okay . No, you listen. There are some ideas, some voices that are too special to keep hidden. Molly ringwald, good morning. Hi, good morning. I think we just saw in 30 seconds why this movie is so fun. It has a little bit of everything. Got a nice story but also a lot of music. Yeah. Some 80s fashion. A lot of great music and a lot of great fashion and really talented actresses. Gem and the holograms was an animated series in the 80s. I havent heard of it. Was it one that you liked . I heard of it and already in my 20s and a little too old, and my husband who is seven years younger, yeah, he loved it. So what drew you in this you play aunt bailey, like the aunt we wish we all had. Yes. What did you like about this role . I just really thought it was a fun project. It had all of this great music in it. Justin biebers manager is one of the producers and john chu is the director and hes fantastic direct the the documentaries and ever flown the Virgin Airlines with the musical safety announce president , like the only time ive watched the safety announcements. The one we Pay Attention to. He did that and really great with music and choreography and it just seemed like a fun project. Its funny though because you are, i dont know if everyone knows this, youre quite musician yourself. I am. But we dont hear you play any music in this. If it does well, then maybe aunt bailey will sing in a second or third one, i hope they didnt know i was a singer fun. Every single song gets stuck in your head. Another thing to watch out for in this movie is a little cameo of your daughter. Shes in. It is she interested in acting in. She loves acting. We dont want her to do it professionally and we really love general and john they get along really well. Would it be okay and i did it, i actually directed her in it. Very daunting to direct your almost teenage daughter. The only time for the next few years that she actually listens to your direction. I think its the only time shes ever listened to me. You were back in march talking about one of my what was that like . What are people asking . Was there anything surprising about the experience . Its interesting because you know, obviously ive seen the movie a lot, i talked about it a lot. I think the last time i was here i was talking about it for the anniversary. Actually doing an extended q and a is interesting because it forces me to remember it like im remembering all of the stuff which is really good for when i decide to finally write my memoirs which wont be a while. These memories are coming back to me that i forgot. Whats amazing is how many i have 12yearolds and 10yearolds in the audience their mothers or grandmothers showed them the movie. Its really amazing that its sort of relevant. Its awesome, i imagine as an actress to have something in your repertoire that has staying power. You have so many. Its nice. Thank you. Your new movie is from our Sister Company universal. Molly is coming back and have her costar with her as well. Coming up next, women on the ritz, thanks to a bakery and a lot of hard work. Lessons from the intentative 9month bakers and Training Program go beyond the essentials of baking to include english, and basic managing skills, the sole provider for a family, she has been working here for six years contributing her native bread she learned to make as a child growing up. I learned the baking, also customer side. You get squares. Because i dont have any experience in bakery, so it wasnt easy for me but its now im feeling very, very good. How much does the job mean to you . Why is it so important . Since 2008 over 80 women from 20 countries have trained with hot bread kitchen. Boasting 100 job placement once training is complete. Whats your hope . My goal is to help put women on a path to professional success, earning a good wage. I would come this far. It means everything. What you didnt see is during that entire story we have been here chowing down on bread. Its a great idea. Its really using bread to a lot of times they are the main bread winners so to speak of the families its an empowering story. Its a fundamental too in a kitchen. So many cultures represented here and in the kitchen. Thats what you see all of these walks of life coming together, they get to know from all over the world and you can feel the sense of community. Its the energy there was extraordinary. Can i congratulate like no one did pick this up. There was a tub of butter. Thanks for bringing us the story. What else is coming up . Live performance. This morning on todays take, colin quinn, the former snl star tells us why hes in a new york state of mind. Then the artist behind the number one song cheerleader omi singing his newest hit live. And get ready for some holiday hoopla with diy decor coming up now. Announcer from nbc news, this is todays take with the al roker, natalie morales, willie geist and tamron hall live from studio 1a in rockefeller plaza. Good morning, everybody. Welcome to today on a monday morning, october 19th, 2015. Im here with natalie and dylan, willie and tamron are off. Our morning jam omen by disclosure ft. Sam smith. Why did you pick this one . Sam smith, how can you go wrong . How about this oh, man. The donald trump feud. Jeb bush feud. Its getting bigger. Thats right. They are trading barbs over jeb bushs brother president george w. Bush and 9 11 which seems unseemly at best. The dispute starting friday. Trump interviewed by bloomberg tv. When you talk about george World Trade Center came down. Blame him or dont blame him. He was president. And hes blaming him. Yeah. So obviously jeb bush is not going to let that pass and responded on cnn. My brother responded to a crisis, and he did it as you would hope a president would do. He united the country. Mr. Trump talks about things as though hes still on the apprentice. Looks as though hes an actor playing the role of a candidate for president. And the problem i think for jeb bush is hes spending most of his time responding to donald trump. Right. And trump can say anything he wants and he has to take the time. And trump doubled down on that remark that he made by saying 9 11 wouldnt have happened on his watch because he wouldnt have allowed, you know, the immigrants into the country so it is getting hot. Yeah. You wonder where its going to end. Right. But in the meantime, hopefully it doesnt end before because weve got an exclusive town hall with donald trump next monday on today. That would be really awkward. If he all of a sudden got out. Pancakes and politics again. I think they ought to escalate it. With trump they ought to go waffles, belgian waffles though he might not like the idea that they are belgian. He wants american waffles. Going to get some eggos. I do like eggos. I like the eggo, but as a kid, im socalled they have a Company Called downey flake, square frozen waffles, around i remember seeing a tv show where the mom was making waffles and i said as god as my witness i will never eat a frozen waffle again. And you have not. I have not. Got to the break out frozen. Just a means to have butter in each square and cant get away with eating just butter. If you make the waffle you can make the bacon waffle which gives you seerp, butter and bacon. Taking it to a whole new lovely. Layers it up, a little bit of the dough. Had them before. Made it on the show. Next time im visiting, can you place make me some. Yeah. You have that after you watch wasnt it an incredible night on saturday night live. Great to see tracy morgan back. He looks amazing. Did so well. This, of course, 16 months since he suffered a broken fee mur, leg, nose, wrist and traumatic nor. Nearly lost his life and his friend jamie make did lose his liver and he clearly has not lost his sense of humor and he was back and better than ever. People are wondering, can he speak . Does he have 100 mental capacity . The truth is i never did. I might actually be a few points higher now. That was my favorite line. It was also really great seeing the thirty rock reunion, tina fey, alec baldwin, Jay Krakowski and all there paying tribute to him and tinin at one moment saidwere glad youre doing well and so good to see you back. But i think the show stopper of the night was the opening sketch. Hopefully you stayed up for this one. Curb your enthusiasms larry david as Bernie Sanders. It was epic. Take a look. Not a fan of the banks. They trample on the middle class. They console washington and why do they chain all the pens to the desk . Who is trying to steal a pen from a bank . Makes no sense. Thats why youve got to break up the banks into little pieces and then flush the pieces down the toilet so you can never put the banks back together. Then you just make the bankers pay for college for everyone and america is fix the hey. He has man rimpz and the hand gestures. Perfect. Perfect. Spot on. What was great, basically realize Bernie Sanders is doing larry david because larry david didnt change a thing. Both from brooklyn, right . Larry david basically. And actually Bernie Sanders apparently loved the larry david. Hes like i want to getet him on out on the campaign trail with me. Whats not to the love. Its fantastic. Hes amazing. Oh, my gosh. So funny. Also in full swwg right now, im not goo with the transitions like you are. I just ared at you for an awkward second and i have to transition. But it was magic.
