My favorite thing to do is to go through my childhood bedroom and find like the love letters. Your bedroom is still there . All the stuff was taken there. And one of the things i found was this diary that broke my heart. My sister told me that she found it four years ago but she never told me because it broke her heart. This diary is fourth grade, the first year of 1991, it looks like. So i was 10 years old. Dear diary, happy new year. The first thing i wanted to do was lose four pounds, anspelled it loes. So obviously, i needed to take up spelling. How old were you . I was like 10 or 11. And you wanted to lose four pounds . Yeah, first of all, why four . Who thought four was a good number. But also that that had been on the list since i was 10 years old. And i have a mom that is not, you know, doesnt talk about diets or nothing. Where did you get that . I dont know. Maybe my friends or subconsciously something that, so i just realized that no matter, as of this year, that is not going to be on my list. Its probably been on, in some form or another for 25 years. But you know what could be on our list . Because i took a soul cycle class with jenna. And it really did get me hooked. I was not interested. Yeah. I love it. It, what you do is go in the class, they crank the music up so loud that you cant hear and they turn the lights practically off so you cant see. Its perfect. Also, one of the things that we studied, the whole study about how music motivates. Soul cycle is so awesome, but if you dont have a soul cycle where you are, turn the lights down in the house, turn up the music and dance around the house with your kids or if your husband will dance with you. Mine is like, why are we dancing . He will dance with you . Last night i made him. I thought it would be todays the day. It wasnt happening. The number one resolution is to lose weight, with 25 wanting to lose 40 pounds or more. Most people want to shop less if youre in the dating world, this is like the time of you, they say single people last night were signing onto an Online Dating site. Its like the super bowl of dating. It must be you make resolutions first of the year. You reach that, and youre, like, this is the year that youre going to meet somebody. Somebody said you have to visualize. Its funny, i remember when i was seeking to meet someone, and i remember they said write down the three traits youre looking for in someone. And i remember i wrote them down and folded them up and smushed them up, and theyre in a little box, and theyre still in the box. And did joel meet all three of those . I dont remember what i wrote down at the time, but its one of those things that one day i feel like im going to open it up and see that its going to work, but i think you have to know what youre looking for. You think i want to meet someone nice or cute, if you think about not a lot of details about height and weight and all and you also cant get, in my opinion, too into those details on the first meeting, because i think henry, im in love with him, and weve been together for 11 years, but had i met him even a year earlier, i might have thought, this isnt what i wanted a year ago, but he is what i want for a lifelong partner, hes smart and solid. And i also think knowing whats going to happen. I told my friends that are single, know that its going to happen. You have to visualize it and know. I totally agree.
