Check out this. Temperatures in minneapolis have been hovering around zero. So one man decided to have a little frozen fun. This pair of jeans, well, he got them wet, then he trapped them up in his front yard. Of course they froze instantly. The idea soon caught on and now invisible man is shirtless again. The neighborhood was lined with frozen jeans. Looks like a fun neighborhood. Scare crows in iowa, we can do that in minnesota. The temperatures are the story this morning. Going out and getting your self ready for school and work. Negative windchills from minneapolis, d. C. Were at 4. Pittsburgh negative 9. Chicago unfortunately youre the leader there at negative 13. Its a very cold morning. All the way down into the south. We have a little clipper low thats going to go through the cold air mass and its going to produce fluffy snow as we go throughout the next two days. Today, omaha through missouri, kansas city, even st. Louis will have some fluffy snow. Maybe an inch or two. Maybe as much as three. Paducah to evansville and this little area of southern kentucky could be a little heavier. You probably heard about this big snowstorm coming for the east coast. Heres how its going to look according to our american computer model. This is friday into sunday. This is saturday morning, when the storm is at its strongest, very strong winds into maryland, southern new jersey and delaware, coastal flooding possible and high tide cycles. The heaviest snow would be i95 back towards the mountains and then it looks like the trend is for a little less snow, especially central and northern new england, but definitely hitting southern new england, and our other computer model, our european model still watching the days ahead, pretty good agreement. We do look like the areas of heaviest snow most likely somewhere in the mountains of west virginia, v, maryland, delaware the big cities are still a question mark. We know how they love snow down there. Will be interesting. Hope for less than more there. Thank you, bill. A freak accident in maryland last night where one driver is lucky to be arrive after a light pole pierced through the roof just missing the driver. The pole fell down after a Fire Department ambulance crashed into it after being sideswiped by another car. Two medics on board suffered nonlifethreatening injuries. A dramatic high speed chase in Southern California last night ended with the suspects Mercedes Benz spinning around as she tries to outmaneuver a california Highway Patrol vehicle. Six dogs were in the car, with a few of them jumping from the back seat of the suspects vehicle after the woman got out of the car. Freeway lanes were closed as patrol officers wrangled those dogs. It is a glass church cinderella would just love. Look at that. A town in southwest taiwan built this 55 foot tall church that looks like a giant high heeled shoe. Its made entirely out of metal and blue tinted glass. That church will open to the public in february. Pretty cool. Well its a bigname republican about to go rogue and support donald trump . Scrambled politics is next. They represent blood cells. And if you have afiban irregular heartbeat that may put you at five times greater risk of stroke they can pool together in the heart, forming a clot that can break free and travel upstream to the brain, where it can block blood flow and cause a stroke. But if you have afib thats not caused by a heart valve problem, pradaxa can help stop clots from forming. Pradaxa was even proven superior to warfarin at reducing the risk of stroke, in a Clinical Trial without the need for regular blood tests. And, in the rare event of an emergency, pradaxa is the only oral blood thinner other than warfarin with a specific reversal treatment to help your body clot normally again. Pradaxa is not for people who have had a heart valve replacement. Dont stop taking pradaxa without talking to your doctor. Stopping increases your risk of stroke or blood clots ask your doctor if you need to stop pradaxa before any planned medical or dental procedure. Pradaxa can cause serious, and sometimes, fatal bleeding. Dont take pradaxa if you have abnormal bleeding. And seek immediate medical care for unexpected signs of bleeding, like unusual bruising. Pradaxa may increase your bleeding risk if youre 75 or older, have kidney problems, stomach ulcers, a bleeding condition, or take certain medicines. Side effects with pradaxa can include indigestion, stomach pain, upset or burning. Dont just go with the flow. Go with pradaxa, the only blood thinner that lowers your risk of stroke better than warfarin and has a specific reversal treatment. Talk to your doctor about pradaxa today. All right. Heres todays dish of scrambled politics. Speculation is building about a possible big name from up north endorsing donald trump for president. Yes, former alaskan governor sarah palin is rumored to be throwing her support behind trump at a special announcement planned in iowa today. Palin has sung trumps praises publicly in the past and an endorsement would certainly be a boost for trump especially within the grassroots movement. Our friends across the pond dont seem to share the former Vice President ial candidates view of the donald. Yesterday members of the British Parliament debated whether or not to ban him from the country over his, quote, racist views with some calling trump crazy with no valid points to make, who undermines the safety and security of british citizens. An online petition to ban trump has already been signed by more than half a million people. Sounds like theyre not acting on that, though. The democrats and the New York Times Hillary Clinton get set for a long slog against Bernie Sanders. The times reports that Clintons Campaign is gearing up for a primary battle that could go all the way to may. Seems so far away. As the vermont senator gains ground in iowa and New Hampshire, as well. And with the general consensus that he won sundays democratic debate. While clinton and sanders duked it out during the debate former governor Martin Omalley had trouble getting a word in, something that didnt go unnoticed by the tonight shows jimmy fallon. And the other democratic candidate Martin Omalley was also at the debates but it seemed like every time omalley tried to jump in the other candidates and moderators just cut him off. Well, omalley was not happy about it. In fact, here he is in an interview this morning, talking about how he was treated. So i thought last nights debate was well, you get the idea. Way to pile on, jimmy. That is your morning dish of scrambled politics. Im joined now by political analyst and bestselling author ellis henican. Good morning to you. You know, i know exactly how he feels. The same thing happens to me all the time. What do you mean . Never here. All right lets talk about iowa. Weve got just a couple weeks to go. No more debates for the democrats here. Be truthful here, as a political analyst, how surprised are you that weve gotten to the point where theyre basically in a dead heat . There was a time where people said Bernie Sanders was an outsider wasnt going to happen, here we are ahead of iowa, almost in a dead heat. Am i surprised is that the question . Well let me think a 74yearold socialist from vermont, with a strong brooklyn accent, why wouldnt he soar right to the top . Yes, its surprising. Yes. I think even people in the sanders campaign, frankly, are a little surprised about how he has gone from down by 50 points to actually being really dead even in these first few states. People thought maybe joe biden was the only thing that might trip up hillary being a sure thing. That is right. When you start using the term long slog about your campaign, that shows that youre actually worrying about your opponent. So how do you see this going in iowa . I think in iowa, i think that hillarys likely to pull it out in iowa at the last minute. She has a better ground game and in some ways shes more suited to the electorate there. I think in New Hampshire bernie is quite likely to win and thats a you know you got to shake your head at that and say thats quite amazing. It is quite amazing considering how far hes come. Yeah. Lets talk about the gop side of things here. Things are very tight for cruz and trump in iowa. They are. And ugly. Getting a little bit uglier. Remember they used to be friends. What is going to be the differencemaker in these final two weeks leading up to iowa and who do you think is going to take it . You got to say ground game. Iowa is so complicated. You know, they dont just vote there. They have to get together for these caucuses and hang around with their neighbors for hours. You know, you really have to want it. And whether turning out a big crowd for a rally is the same as getting someone to a caucus, i mean, thats really the question. I dont think its about energy and ideology at this point, i really do think its about whos got the organization on the ground. You know, maybe you give a little edge to cruz. Is an endorsement, say, from sarah palin, something that would give trump a boost or does that not matter . You know, i dont think this is the year of endorsements. Sarah seems like a little bit like yesterdays news to me. Interesting. Okay. Maybe shell bring bristol around. What do you say . Maybe. I dont know. By the way, thats not whats going to swing iowa. We shall see. Two weeks to go. Thank you much. Just ahead, hbo is making you an offer you cant refuse. Plus beyonce was spotted at the university of Southern California practicing for something huge. We were 50 points behind the inevitable, inevitable democratic nominee. I dont want to come out with theories and concepts that may or may not be possible. Well, guess what . That inevitable candidate aint so inevitable today. I hear this is a major theme right here. But 2 corinthians, 2 corinthians 317 thats the whole ball game. What was that . Was that a dog . Hillary uhoh. Its hillary. His words are not comical. His words are not funny. His words are poisonous. Is this the kind of man that we want in our country .
