Reporter rick, this is the valley run complex north of wilmington, it happened in this townhouse, a 2yearold boy apparently shot himself in the head here s a lot of Unanswered Questions as police begin their investigation. We are not sure the ownership of the gun or how he located the weapon or anything like that. It happened at 10 00 this morning. Neighbors say they heard a woman screaming and crying outside of the townhouse. I seen a lady on the phone crying, she was just screaming, i dont know who she was talking to. The Police Arrived moments later followed by an ambulance, the boy was rushed to the hospital where he is in Critical Condition with a bullet wound to the head. Police are trying to figure out who owned the gun and how did the child get his hands on it. We are not sure how it occurred but we do know it was just the child and mother inside of the house.
