The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Hanoi, Vi e tnam pa r t i c i - pated in the Annual International Food
Festival organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, held on 6 December in Hanoi.The eighth assembly of this annual event was attended by Diplomatic Missions, International Organisations ,International Non -Government Organisations based in Hanoi, Provincial Officesofthe Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Provincial Gove r nments and Vietnamese food and beverage industry leaders. Sri Lanka’s stall was one of the main attractions of the event, with authentic Sri Lankan food such as Kottu Rotti and Aappa (Hoppers) made in front of the crowd. Ceylon Tea was also served with Sri Lankan short eats. Both Vietnamese nationals and expatriates enjoyed these delicious treats and the warm hospitality.
