Red Bluff officer-involved shooting was justified, DA says

RED BLUFF, Calif. – The Tehama County District Attorney, Matthew Rogers, announced an officer-involved shooting in Red Bluff was justified.
The officer-involved shooting happened on Feb. 19, 2020, at the Meadow Vista apartments.
Officers said on Feb. 19, they received a call about a fight and when they arrived at the apartments a man named Alex Francisco Vazquez, 38, began firing at officers. In response, one of the officers fired back and struck Vazquez. ....
