UCC launches awareness initiatives to mark World Day for Safety at Work

UCC Holding (UCC), the diversified business conglomerate, has launched a series of new Occupational Safety and Health Systems (OSH) awareness initiatives to commemorate the World Day for Safety at Work, building on the company’s proud track record of health and safety excellence.
World Day of Safety at Work (celebrated on April 28) is an international event led by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) that celebrates successes and contributions towards improving safety throughout every part of a company or organisation.
Reflecting on the global pandemic, this year’s theme centres on anticipating, preparing, and responding to crises, with the motto “Invest Now in Resilient Occupational Safety and Health Systems.” ....
