The Berryville Bobcats 2021 baseball season came to an end with a loss to Gravette in the first round of the district tournament on Monday, April 26 but not without a fight.
Gravette hung to win 10-9 after Berryville scored eight times in the bottom of the sixth inning to turn a nine-run deficit into a nail-biter.
The Bobcats had the tying run on second when the sixth inning ended on a strikeout.
Berryvilles comeback included seven hits and two walks in the sixth.
Dominic Henry started the big inning with a single, then stole second and moved to third on a single by Jack Dignan. Apen Linz walked to load the bases and Tanner Rosales also drew a base on balls to score Henry. Chris Hipps followed with a two-run single to left field, then Jarrett Stringer had a RBI single to left.
