I want to sincerely thank all the involved Anchorage government employees who have done such a great job of keeping our streets, sidewalks and trails so neatly plowed and accessible. Every route I’ve taken has many footprints on it. What a great improvement over previous years.
Developing, plowing and hot-mopping so many skating rinks is also appreciated. The municipality has done all this in a winter when so many more citizens have discovered the joy of walking, hiking, skiing, biking and skating, when the pandemic limited so many other activities.
Thanks again for the careful planning and executing these wonderful aspects of Anchorage winter outdoor ambience. ....
