2 regional minimum wage hikes OK'd
MANILA-Two more regional wage boards have approved an increase in the salary of minimum wage earners ranging from PHP32 to PHP34. According to Director Rolly Francia, Information and Publication Service (IPS), the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs) in Regions 4-B (Mimaropa) and 12 (Soccsksargen) have approved salary adjustments for private-sector employees last Friday. He said the Board in Region 4-B also granted an increase in the take-home pay of domestic workers there.
