A week ago a magnitude 9 earthquake and tsunami struck japan leaving devastation in its wake. according to japan's national police agency, 6,911 people are confirmed dead, 10,316 are still missing. with so many miles of devastation to cover, rescue teams have deployed search and rescue robots to help out with the search. earlier this week we looked at two of the robots that have been used in japan. take a look at this. one of them is the active scope camera that you're looking at. it looks like a snake, goes in to search for people in rubble. it was also used after 9/11, about 26 feet of wire....
