Johnny Paycheck

Johnny Paycheck (born
Donald Eugene Lytle; May 31, 1938 – February 19, 2003) was an American country music singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Grand Ole Opry member notable for recording the David Allan Coe song "Take This Job and Shove It". He achieved his greatest success in the 1970s as a force in country music's "Outlaw Movement" popularized by artists Coe, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver, and Merle Haggard. In the 1980s, his music career slowed due to drug, alcohol and legal problems. He served a prison sentence in the early 1990s and his declining health effectively ended his career in early 2000. In 1980, Paycheck appeared on the PBS music program

Earl Thomas Conley

Earl Thomas Conley
Earl Thomas Conley (born October 17, 1941, Portsmouth, Ohio, United States) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Between 1980 and 2003, he recorded ten studio albums, including seven for the RCA Records label. In the 1980s and into the 1990s, Conley also charted more than thirty singles on the
Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, of which eighteen reached Number One. Conley's eighteen
Billboard Number One country singles during the 1980s marked the most Number One hits by any artist in any genre during that decade except for Alabama and Ronnie Milsap.
Throughout his career, Conley's music has been referred to as "thinking man's country." This is because the narrator looks into the heart and soul of his characters in each song.

Gordon Lightfoot

Gordon Lightfoot
Gordon Meredith Lightfoot Jr. CC OOnt (born November 17, 1938) is a Canadian singer-songwriter who achieved international success in folk, folk-rock, and country music, and has been credited for helping define the folk-pop sound of the 1960s and 1970s. He has been referred to as Canada's greatest songwriter and internationally as a folk-rock legend.
Lightfoot's songs, including "For Lovin' Me", "Early Morning Rain", "Steel Rail Blues", "Ribbon of Darkness"—a number one hit on the U.S. country chart with Marty Robbins's cover in 1965—and "Black Day in July" about the 1967 Detroit riot, brought him international recognition in the 1960s. He experienced chart success in Canada with his own recordings, beginning in 1962 with the No. 3 hit "(Remember Me) I'm the One". Lightfoot's recordings then made an impact on the international music charts as well in the 1970s, with songs such as "If You Could Read My Mind" (1970) his first U.S. top 10 hit reaching #5. "Sundown" (1974) a #1 hit, "Carefree Highway" (1974) which followed reaching #10, "Rainy Day People (1975) at #25, and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" (1976) (No. 2, Hot 100).

presidential candidates, bernie sanders, kamala harris and cory booker stopped in. joining me on power 105.1 in new york city, welcome to fox news at night. thanks. i got to read something from the daily beast. you say the world's most dangerous morning show. you conduct lengthy interviews with politicians in which the cultural weight of the show and informality of its interviews force media presidential hopefuls to let down their guard and get more personal. people are dangerous, they try to act cool and it is not real. how does that go? >> part of the issues we are not political pundits. people come on the show and they are used to talking about their policies and things that are very rehearsed. on the club we ask you about

mccardle. he's state house borough chief for new jersey 105.1 radio. appreciate your time. >> my pleasure, rachel. any time. >> first, let me just ask you about this development actually with the state of the union and the ft. lee mayor mark sokolich being invited to the state of the union by a new jersey democratic congressman who has been a real critic of chris christie's. should we see that as a pure political message here? >> that's how i see it. congressman pascrell has been very outspoken against governor christie from the get-go, in fact. i'm not surprised he would make some political aim this way at all. >> in terms of the investigation that's happening of this scandal at the legislature, i was perhaps naively surprised today when i saw that the republicans' pick for state senator to be on that committee is kevin o'toole. as far as i understand it, he's thought of as being as close an ally as the governor has in the legislature, and his name does turn up in the subpoenaed e-mails and text messages that have been released so far already by the investigation. what's your take on this appointment? >> well, first off, you are
